You peek your head out of the den. You look around for and predators and find it safe to go outside. You saunter outside and begin sunning yourself in the warm morning sun. It's a new day in the harsh climat of the Kalahari desert, where every day is a fresh fight for survival.

Mozart awoke very early, the sun was barely rising. He took this opportunity to look for breakfast, in mid day and morning it was hard to scavenge because the bugs would flee under the earth to the cool which would mean you would have to dig. He easily snatched up a few morsels and gobbled them down. He watched as the sun rose and prepared for a hot day.

Minuet was still fast asleep with little Allegro curled up next to her but the bold brave Thoran had other ideas. He poked his head out of the entrance to the den and sniffed the air. He smelt nothing out of the ordinary so went padding further and further away from the safety of his den.

Maybelline slept soundly in the warm, dark den. Her foot twitched as a pup yelped in its sleep (Allegro) . She woke up slowly as the first lazy beams of the sun crept into the den. When she was almost fully awake, she rolled over onto Minute's head and upper body. "Time to get up!" She chirped.
