Shay inched down, so that the waving grass glided along her thin fur on her stomach. The noise was low, her other senses kicked up to catch something. The jungle was harsh, it's predators even harsher. The weather beat down on Shatasha, as she honed in on Kirin's soft voice.

Kirin looked at Shay with careful eyes. Hs more rebellious side was not with him today. His eyes scoped out the perfect creature. "Look, a zebra herd out on the plains." Kirin whispered almost silently. To his surprise, she nodded and inched toward the tree line. He had to be quick, normal only lioness's hunted and he was far untrained in it. He gulped, the noise echoing on the trunks of wet trees. Shay sprinted into the open sun, sending prey scattered.

Ali felt his leg muscles retract as he bent them inward. He shifted on his empty belly and groaned. His head was pounding, blood refusing to flow through. He finally slid his eyes open, a ray of sunshine laying on his face. In a few seconds, it warmed up and hurt his eye. He sighed, and spun around; untwisting himself. Ali shook out his large mane and sat on his backside. His eyes blinked, as he stared out of his cave. He smiled lightly, then grew quite sour again. His honey amber eyes glistened from the reflection of the sun. Well, the early lion catches the doe, they say. Ali stepped out into the dazzling sunlit morning with a bored yawn. He was way too tired to be up. Maybe...later. the leader turned around and went back to sleeping. Just ten more minutes...

Paisley softly padded down to the roaring water. Her ears popped from the pressure change as she waded into the oddly hot river. It was a runoff of a spring, and served as a fine hot tub. Paisley made a sound of satisfaction as she sat in the brown and swirling water."Now this is what relaxing feels like." 'Lei' smirked as she settled in. As long as no one got their head ripped off, shed be fine for the next hour or so. She bathed herself in the water for what seemed like hours, only for it to be a few minutes.

Leah froze, she felt she was beening watched. Her timid side was kicking in. She backed away from where she saw the grass rustle a little. Whoever was watching her was very skilled. She slunk to make herself look smaller and weaker. "Hello?" she croaked again. "I-I'm hoping to join Ash Pride..." she swallowed quietly, she never was a very outgoing lioness. 'This is silly! No-one's there, obviously its my imagination!' she hissed mentally. To prove it was her imagination she took a deep breath. She froze mid-breath and stared at where she saw the grass move with wide eyes.
