"Take a left," Brambletail said to Rogue. "Watch the root." He wasn't yet sure if he trusted the small black cat, but as of now, he didn't seem like much of a threat.

[Shezza.]

"I know," Rouge snapped angrily. He stepped over the root. "I've been here before." he mumbled.

[SingTheRain]

Brambletail's eyes widened in surprise, but he said nothing. He glanced up to look at Darkstar, wondering if she had heard Rogue's comment.

[Shezza.]

Darkstars eyes narrowed, and she tensed up with Rouges comment. She looked over at Brambletail and nodded, indicating that she had heard.

"Dont act like fools. Have you not smelt the scents left behind by my rouges?" Rouge asked, as he watched a mouse nibble on a seed carefully.

[SingTheRain]

"We have, yes," Brambletail replied defensively. "We figured the scents were from rogue's passing through, since we never found any other evidence or actually saw them. Til now," he finished.

[Shezza.]

Rouge ignored Brambletail. He watched the mouse, focusing hard. "im hungry" He growled.

"Keep walking," Darkstar commanded, her voice stern. She looked up at Brambletail but said nothing more

Brambletail gave a quick nod to show he agreed with his leader. He stepped loudly on a stick to scare the mouse away so Rogue wouldn't be tempted to run off. "You'll eat when we get back to camp," Brambletail told the black cat. "Maybe."

[Shezza.]

"Or," Rouge said irritably, "I could eat you now."

Darkstar growled a warning, making sure Rouge heard. "Dont you start." She hissed.

Brambletail laid his ears back and the fur on his neck raised, but he didn't respond. He bit his tongue to keep from replying. He could now see the small clearing that was just before the camp entrance.

[Shezza.]

Darkstar sighed in relief as she also spotted the small clearing before the entrance. She smiled.

Rouge smelt the clan cats and began to tense up. He started to slow down.
