There doesn't seem to be anyone who hasn't been helped within the last 10 posts in terms of humans, and I can't help with animals, so...
Can any give me some advice in terms of picking colors for things?
This was a little experiment with that, so as you can see I can't seem to figure it out xD

It was also only a coloring experiment, so please no comments on the drawing itself or the shading ^^;

I wish I was good with colors, but haha this is what I make

I really need help with the armsss. It's killing me. I've only come up with three things, but suggestions, please.
Also anything else you want to tear apart is cool. She'll be in the shower, crying, wet as a dog, so yeah.

By god, I've figured it out, Johnson!
I've discovered the center of criticism and hate!
It derives from a deep self loathing
and inability to live up to
an impossible set standard. A fear of failure.
Now if they could all love what they do,
and use imperfections
to drive forward to progression,
imagine what world we'd be living in.
It's quite phenomenal.

I must say it was a good pick there but I would've put the sky a little more towards the true blue.

@♋ Ƨɛвαƨтιαи Ƨмʏтнɛ ♋ - I hope this helps, rather quickly done though. Very sketchy and not the best, also overly assuming you're drawing Dean Winchester XD Redlines
What I'd say

Hey guys, I'm working on an image of my friend's character and mine are sort of verge of waking and waking type scene. I'm needing some help on anatomy, I'm requesting some red lines from some of the users who know quite a bit about human anatomy if that is possible. I'm best with redlines than with written crits. Remember its very rough so far and I tried to help with making the different areas in changed tones. http://img571.imageshack.us/img571/9960/sketch4d.jpg <<< Rather large.

Thanks all.

Mistywren;
First off, it looks fantastic. I love your style of drawing o3o
I am no expert on human anatomy but the girl's face looks a little off, the eyes seem like they are too far away from the ear and it makes the cheek/chin look a little big. Also, she looks too skinny, I don't think ribs and organs could fit in such a slim torso. Other than that, I'd say the wing position on the girl looks a little bit uncomfortable but I love it <3

I need to continue this quickly, never got anything.

By normal wolf standards, everything is anatomically correct. But the chest fur seems to be at a weird point ont he muzzle. Just thought I'd note that. Chest fur usually starts at the neck and then goes to underbelly, but this appears, at first glance, to be branching from the mouth... Hope this was helpful and that i don't sound like some overbearing brat... LOL.

The ears are rather longer and go to her jawline, from large feathers to small more tuft like ones near the jaw. I'll see about the shape of her body being to lean. Though the wing is shaped to be more for depth as if sheltering the man. Will be better when I shade it, like wise to define the leg the mug is resting on.

Thanks for the advice.

@Mistywren: I'm not the best with human anatomy, but she does look too thin. I also think there might be something off with her neck, I'm not really sure what it is, maybe it's too short? I don't know, don't trust me, I could never do anything even close to that good so I'm not the best one to be giving crit.

I haven't really been able to draw lately, I've been in the worst art block I've ever had. Im trying to work through it and I haven't posted much, so I wanted to post a few sketches.

This is something I drew in class, I'm not sure what breed, I've been thinking doberman/border collie mix, but he's still in development.
And this is an old character of mine. I realize her head is huge, that's mainly because I didn't plan it out at all before I started drawing. I've been playing around with her hairstyle since I first created her and this is the latest one, though I'm pretty sure it won't last long.

Link Alright, hoping that looks better, took the advice of you both and a friend who did some anatomy classes. Fattened her up reworked arms slightly, added definition to the leg that is showing and shrunk her head to make it less giant.

Anyone see anything else they could red line for me? And thank you both for your help this far.

Quick question--Does the artist army cover writing? I have a prospective plot for NaNoWriMo that I'd like some critique and advice on before I get any further in the basic planning, and I'm not sure where to post it. :/
