serin licked its father's nose again. "I tired." it said and fell asleep in cookie's arms. considering that's how it is with vampires. they sleep day roam night...

Cookie sighed. He looked out side and said "Go to sleep my little one. Il sing a lalabie." he said and started to sing.

serin listened to the sweet sound of the vampire lullaby.

He stopped when the song was over and gently put Serin in the crib next to Shira.

Cookie put his old blanket on Serin and kissed Serin on the cheek. He walked away towards the window shielding his eyes. "How can those day dragons stand this light?" he said quietly.

black walked through the halls, bored. he walked slowly. he was tired from being up too long. he collapsed onto the floor with a thud. he hadn't been up this long in years.

i nodded then put my hatchling in the bed and put a blanket over it to stay warm. "rest up and get better little hatchling'" i whispered, then kissed its forehead and sat down humming a song my mother used to sing to me.
