Personality
[ Echo's no priss. At all, on any facet of her personality. She's got a kick-ass, sarcastic, mouth-off, strong, I'm-rolling-my-eyes, no nonsense air about her, and she certainly lives up to it. She's not known for loosing arguments being left without words. However, she's generally optimistic about life but she can be a bit of a pessimist and uses pessimistic sarcasm. She loves to party and break free of controlling forces. She was born with the innate personality of someone who loves to laugh, has a generally funny, bright view of life, and will never stop fighting for her personal freedom, be it of speech or actions.
Despite all of this, she can't help but have a darker, vicious side, too. She can sometimes seem, and, for the most part, feel completely lost and alone; confused. And since she seems to never be at a loss for words, Echo uses that gift to hurt people sometimes, being pointedly sardonic or just making fun of them. She can be utterly cold and will shut people out if she hasn't gotten to know them yet or doesn't trust them.
She's extremely intelligent but kind of shy and has an odd addiction to any form of moving/flowing water.
Echo loves to fight, however she is mainly peace-loving. She can talk trash without a problem, and finds it easy to claim dominance over people or to win a fight against them. She loves to take the lead in many things, but she's no despot and won't be a dictator over anyone who she's leading.
Deep inside her, though, there's a part of her that loves to just sit on the beach and write. Pretty much anything really; poetry, novels, songs, anything is within the range of her writing talent. Along with that, she's also mastered the art of persuasion, but she'll settle for just plain art, too.
On the outside, she just seems kind of tough, sarcastic, and emotionless, but she actually has a lot of care for others and would jump in front of a train for a friend. She tends to hide what she's feeling, though, and bottle it up; that she won't deny to anyone.
She's slow to trust and even slower to love, but she can also be easily earned if you show her that you're able to trust and be trusted.
Echo will live life to it's fullest at any cost, but she'll live it her way. ]

Personality
{ Hᴏᴛ ʜᴇᴀᴅᴇᴅ- Often, Essence does not think before she acts. She jumps into action before really think of the consequences or what it will do to others. Often times, this will get her into trouble if someone doesn't stop her before she does it, so it's not best to let her just go off on her own after she gets an idea to do something dangerous.
sᴛᴜʙʙᴏʀɴ- Once Essence gets an idea, it is almost impossible to talk her out of it. It would take a very, very good friend for them to first get a handle on her, then talk some sense into her since she doesn't really like to listen to someone arguing with her. you have to be gentle about it, and not try and force your veiws on her quickly. If you do, she will balk and shut you out.
She doesn't like to listen to people she doesn't know much either, so it would have to be osmeone she trusts.
ʟᴏʏᴀʟ- Essence is nothing if not loyal. Once commited, she will go through with things even if it hurts herself or people close. She will keep a secret- even if it is very important- to her grave, unlike other girls who would have to go blab to at least one other person. Once she is a friend, she will always be a friend, and hates being seperated from friends and family for an extended period of time.
ɢᴜᴀʀᴅᴇᴅ- Even though Essence comes off as nice and open, she is not. It takes a very long time to earn her trust, and if you betray her once she will forever remember, and she will more than likely not trust you. That means being there for her when she needs it most, and not telling her secrets. She pretty much would have had to have known you all her life for her to be close enough to date you, so she is more of a 'date your best friend' girl. If you do win her heart, she will probably love you forever, even if he no longer loves her. She wouldn't be able to help it...
ᴅɪʀᴛʏ ғɪɢʜᴛᴇʀ- Try as she might, she cannot fight all that fair. She tries to keep it fair, but ends up biting, scrathing, etc, if the fight is extremely important and she is not winning. She justifies her actions by saying she is a girl up against a boy- not fair.
ᴀɴɢʀʏ- When Essence is angry it is known to all. She is sassy and almost begs for a fight. She is scowly and even snaps at her best of friends, which is a rarity. Lukcily, it is hard to make her that angry, but she is not enjoyabke to be around when she is. It takes someone calm demeonered and a good friend to calm her and keep it from a fight. .She is not afraid to take the first punch either.
sᴀᴅ- if essence is sad, it's almost impossible to tell. She will hole up and only talk to her close friends, and she still doesn't like to talk about her feelings and will brush away peoples questions. She will get a look in her eye though, and she will be quiet and set herself aside instead of being in the middle of things and being her usual loud, flamboyant self. She only really wants someone to hold her at these moments, though thankfully they don't come often.
ᴘʀᴇᴛᴇɴᴅs ɴᴏᴛ ᴛᴏ ʙᴇ sᴇɴsɪᴛɪᴠᴇ- essence likes to portray that the insults people throw at her don't matter, but they really do. Though only a few can tell, she is very deeply hurt by this sort of thing, and seems to be emberrassed by the fact they hurt so much. She has built up walls just to prevent this sort of thing.
sᴍᴀʀᴛ- Essence is actually a very smart girl, and if she sets her mind to it can come up with a few amazing plans. She is also quite good at painting, but it isn't something she is really into, so she doesn't do it often.
