Giwen felt relief wash over her when he accepted her offer. At the strange offer Giwen reluctantly nodded. "Yes I can help the beast." she said and turned to face it. "Your men will need a few chains to hold him down." she said and shook her head. "Where are you keeping the horses? Can I set up a tent there?" she asked. She would have to ask where they would set up base camp before riding to battle. She stroked her mare's head and kept her eyes on the black beast. Her father bed them, he had once visited her on one, he had tried to convince her to leave with him. When she had refused he had set the beast on her.

Eldilin nodded and gave orders to the elves, who calmly aproached the animal, chanting a song in elvish, and wrapped chains around it in a way it couldn't move but that wouldn't hurt it.
"Yes, most of the horses are down there" he signalled to a low valley, noticing the look of concern on Giwen's face. He hesitated a moment, but finally said:
"You do not have to cure it. I can send some healers instead" he offered, not wanting her to feel uncomfortable.

"No, I will see to the Beast." she said and started heading down to the horses leading her horse and pack pony. "Tell them to keep the Beast there and as far away from any horse as possible. You need three guards watching it." she said and disappeared down to the lower valley. She dismounted and pegged the two horses after untacking them and set up her tent. It was large enough to house a few horses and took her a while to set up. She then took her pouches of her herbs and walked back up the hill to where the Fell Beast had been chained down.

Eldilin gave orders to five guards, telling them to keep watch over the fell beast. Then he searched for the elf of who he had stolen the bow, and gave it back to him, apologizing. The elf walked back to his tent and picked up his own bow, deep in his thoughts.

Bobby, after a while of hesitating, slowly made his way towards the Fell Beast and sat on a rock, watching Giwen as she aproached with her bags of herbs. He observed the beast in a fascinated way, but didn't dare get close to it.

Giwen opened one of the pouches, a yellow silk one with an orange drawstring. She took out a handful of green power and as she approached the beast she held her hand flat and blew the power into the Beast's face. It hung like a green mist before the creature breathed it in and instantly it's head sagged and the Beast was asleep. She glanced back at the Hobbit and motioned that he could move forward. She took a tub of brown gel from her biggest bag and opened it. A strange and heavy smell filled the air but Giwen hardly noticed it anymore. She started slowly and gently rubbing the gel into each wound as she moved along.

Bobby slowly stepped forwards, and kneeled down next to the beast. He carefully ran his hand over the black scales, and smiled, wrinkling his nose at the strange smell.
"What is that?" he said, pointing at the brown gel. He had never seen anything like it.

Shadow growled as she approached, but he soon felt the effect of the powder and went limp all over. His tail flinched every now and then.

Mina sat and watched, she continuously stroked the beasts scales feeling his racing pulse. She sighed and put her hands on her lap listening with interest to Giwen.

Giwen smiled and looked up from her work. "It's called Thavron Mellon which means Carpenter's Friend." she said and held out her hand for him to inspect the the brown gel in her hand. "It's a plant mixture that when a little water is added it thickens slightly." she said and then continued to rub it onto the wounds pulling out an arrow every now and then when she reached one. "It works wonders on wounds, seals the wound to stop infection and helps the wound to heal quicker. I use it a lot on almost any wound unless it is too deep." she said and moved over to the Beast's wings. "It would be better to cripple it's wings." she murmured to herself. "It's painless but they might want to uses it." she murmured before looking up again. "Tell me Hobbit, what brings you so far from your beloved Shire?" she asked.
