"I don't just go there to gather herbs." Spiderfrost admitted with a sigh. Seriously, why does Eaglesong think she only goes out to gather herbs? She turns to the entrance to the den.

"I...I go there to relax to when I have time, sometimes I hunt, or try to remember other things." she explained.

Eaglesong looked at Spiderfrost with understanding eyes, "I know how it feels," He paused, taking in a deep breath, "to, you know, get your only special place taken away by fear." He said, looking down, but hid his depresion, badger smadger.

Spiderfrost stood up, insulted.

"Who said I was afraid? Eaglesong, I'm not a helpless kit you rat-face (i officially love that insult), and the field isn't compromised, everyone knows of it since patrols pass it all the time!" the Medicine cat growled in furry. Spiderfrost was never afraid....ok that was a lie, thunder scared her pelt right off of her. But nothing else scared her, not her death and not being attacked. Turning around, Spiderfrost made a b line for the entrance to the forest.

Eaglesong looked at Spiderfrost with anger in his eyes. Growling, he watched her leave, "Okay, see you in Starclan!" He hissed as the rain becan to fall heavier, and a flash of lightning lit up the sky, and he just ignored it, anger in his eyes.

Spiderfrost felt her pelt weigh down with rain water as she trudged away from her den. Eaglesongs yowl broke through the thunder and she turned to glance at him.

"Who said I was going to Starclan?" her murmur was drowned out by the storm, then her dull white pelt disappeared into the darkened forest.

Eaglesong shifted his paws in anger. Eaglesong had barely heard Spiderfrosts remark, but didn't care. "Eaglesong, you know how she i-" "Be quiet, Starpaw," He snapped, walking out of the Medicine Cats' den. He knew he shouldn't have been so rude, but he wasn't up for it. Eaglesong looked up at the sky when he noticed an unfamiliar scent lingering. Maybe I'm just not used to Sage's and Celestial's scents yet. He thought as he went to the edge of camp and sat under a tree to get shaded from the rain.

Spiderfrost grumbled her displeasure about Eaglesong to herself as she made her way towards the edge of the forest territory, but she still had a way to go. Who was he to tell her what she should be afraid of, Eaglesong says he understands, but the rat-face knew nothing about when she was an apprentice, he was too busy concerning himself with his own warrior training. And in all honesty, hadn't even concerned himself with her even after she became the Medicine cat apprentice. In anger she swatted a rock to the side, yet instead of hitting air or a tree there was a soft thump, then a growl. Spiderfrost stopped in her rampage to slowly turn around. Glinting ember eyes glared back at the defenseless medicine cat. The she-cat took a step back as a flash of lighting illuminated the dull, dripping pelt of furious fox.

Spiderfrost cursed, what was with her and her terrible luck?

Eaglesong looked at the muddy ground, and sighed. Eaglesong looked across the camp and saw Starpaw playing with a leaf, at least, that's what he thought it was. It was rainning so hard that he couldn't see half of the camp. Eaglesong sighed and slowly stood up and made his way over to Starpaw. "Sorry, Starpaw," He said, "It's okay, just be nicer, don't let her mood get to you. Her past was terrible, and I hardly know any of it."
