I don't think it's a heart problem because only her tail and that area above the tail is affected. (or is it effected..? I can never get them right..)
Hip dysplasia, maybe?

I dunno.. Does that happen suddenly or over time? It just started today.. I feel really bad.. Her tail won't move at all. She doesn't seem too fazed by it, though. She acts mostly the same, just... without the tail. She doesn't want to sit down, but laying down is okay. I'm not sure. I know hip displaysia is very common in her breed, and it seems to have links to feeding. I know we didn't feed her big dog formula dog food, so that may be it.. Not sure. *shrugs*

Ooh, about the spine thing, with my dogs that was so gradual we barely noticed. Then it got really bad, really quick. Followed by an almost-recovery and then BAM it got really bad again. Like.. overnight. And then they passed away.
So if it is that, then it could have already been happening, it's just so gradual that it's hard to detect 'till it gets bad.
Maybe have a look at her bloodline, see if there's a history of anything. I know my dogs' bloodline has a history of young deaths due to bad backs, so it's worth a try.

My dog is in pain. She won't eat. Her tail won't move.. It's almost like she can't feel it. She takes tufts of fur out of her tail. She has trouble sitting down and getting up... If anyone knows what might be wrong (even the vet doesn't know.. we took her in earlier) PLEASE tell me!
I'm sorry. I don't know. It is sorta like what happend to my old dog. She had slipped a disk in her spine.
But she was a beagle/german shepard mix

Exactly why I thought it might be spine problems, which could lead to her being paralyzed.
And breed wouldn't really matter too much.
