Welcome, young trainer, to Huia Isle.
This paradise is a haven for any and all Pokémon, stretching from island to island, beach to beach, volcano to ice caverns, berry forest to the dunes; this isolated nirvana has all that you could seek.

1. Tui Island - Tui Town, Pokémon Center, the starting point of our journey.

2. Kakariki Island - Home to the Berry forest, plenty of bug Pokémon to be found.

3. Miromiro Island - Tomtit Town has an annual Pokémon Competition for all coordinators to enter which also happens to coincide with the Moon Festival.

4. Kokako Island - The main Island, home to Pukeko power plant. The town, Moho-pereru, also has a trainers school for young students to learn about Pokemon and battling. In the middle of the Island are the Takahe Planes, famous for their big game Pokémon such as Taurous, Snorlax, Miltank, Kangaskhan and any Pokémon of substantial size.

5. Riroriro Island - To get to the island is to surf over the Weka Straight; notoriously deadly, having wiped out the bride constructed the year earlier. Beware of whirlpools. Riroriro Island is home to the Kuaka Volcano, filled with Fire type Pokémon.

6. Whiroia Island - Home to the Ice caverns, jammed full of chilly ice Pokémon and rare treasures.

7. Amokura Coral reefs and Sand Bars - The only way to get to this collection of coral reefs and sand bars is to surf; though it's worth it, as the area is notorious for its rare and beautiful water Pokémon.

Catch ferries from these, to these. Ferries between Island 1 and 4 and between 4 and 6. Ferries are exceedingly expensive, you won’t have enough money at the beginning of the trip to ride on one.

Some of these can stretch on for hours between the island, you might have to camp on some of them.

-This is Semi-Lit +. I expect good spelling and grammar. Minimum writing requirement is one four line paragraph. Feel free to do more, I know I will. :3

-I don't really care if we have uneven genders, this RP isn't focusing on romance.
On that note, I support same-sex relationships so feel free to indulge in those. If you don't like the idea of that, don't join.

-No pictures! Your human character must be described.

-Do not copy Pokémon/Type's. If someone has the same Pokémon/Type as you, I'll go with whoever wanted it first.

-You can only fight the Pokémon that I say are near you.

-Please avoid cliché and over-used characters - Feel free to go crazy on the hair colours, though, this is the Pokémon world.

-No Shinnies. Ever. Not even in the Wild.

-There will be no instant accept of characters; slots will be open for about a day.

-You can only catch three Pokémon.

-To start, you can only have a maximum of six Pokemon and as little as three. [Please edit your profile accordingly]

-You can release Pokémon, but it is very, very looked down upon. I would suggest not doing it, there could be an unforeseen punishment in-game if this happens. (I've heard of Fearow swooping down and stealing the strongest Pokémon from your team.) (>:I) Don't rush to catch Pokémon, just wait for the better ones to show themselves.

-You can trade Pokémon with each other. c:

-Pokémon can only know four moves. If they learn a new one, they forget an old one.

-Pokémon can come out of their balls whenever they like. However, you can only have one Pokémon out when in towns, otherwise it’s seen as a faux pas.

Now for the most important rule...

NO EVEE OR EVEELUTIONS.
Because I know how popular these Pokémon are, everyone would end up having one and that's just uncool.

The Start.

Our trainers were once very close friends, all born on one of the islands of Huia Isle. As they grew older they set out on their own adventures, each of them finding a place within a gym. However they all seemed to grow home-sick, missing the vast beauty of their islands they vowed to return.

They would all go back, they would be together to start an adventure!

Sunny is a very laid back kinda gal, her main goals in life are to "go with the flow" and "be zen", this can lead to staggering displays of laziness. The instigator of this adventure around her home country, she was all but kicked out of her gym and told to "go find her passion" by her Gym leader, who got sick and tired of watching her sit around and play such games like Shogi and Mahjong with her Pokemon instead of training. This was because the other gym member's did not ignite the flare of fighting within her. When Sunny had arrived she had been bursting with a fighting flame, ready to take on the world, but as she grew older, and more skilled, the fights became routine and she lost her spark, sinking into the murky, muddy waters of boredom. Clay's goal of making her experience an adventure is to reignite her spirit for battle.

Sunny can be found most of the time cuddling with her hulking great beasts of Pokemon, she enjoys laying on a great many surfaces, generally on top of her Pokemon.With this laid back attitude came a very kind and caring girl, she always there for cuddles or if anyone needs a shoulder to cry on. When they had all been younger, she had been the mother of the group, always the one to break up fights and keep the peace. However if things become to dramatic (Example: "You stole my boyfriend!") she will flake out of the situation, citing she does not want to get "caught up in bad chi."

Sunny has an adoration of all things indulgent, be it sleeping, eating or spots of sunlight on the floor.(Especially spots of sunlight on the floor) She hates vegetables, those that thrive on conflict, drama queens and people that mistreat Pokemon. Sunny has plans of opening a Pokemon rescue once she is older, to help abused Pokemon be rehabilitated and adopted by young, caring new trainers.

Random fact: She once got drunk and tried to eat a Vanillite.

Physical Description

Sunny stands at roughly 5'6'', she's a very plush, chubby female. She is naturally endowed, yet they look natural on her heavy-set frame. She has a chubby belly, wide hips and thick thighs. Sunny's skin is almost a sickly shade of pale, having spent several years underground away from the sunlight, though the freckles from her youth still cover her body happily in their varying numbers. She has long blonde hair that has been parted down the right, her locks cast with a slight wave towards the bottom that ends just below her collarbone. Her face is that of a cherub, round with frecked chubby cheeks that have been pinched more than once in her life-time and large mid-hued, grey-blue eye.

She wears a pair of black square framed glasses as well as a black hooded sweatshirt that zips up the middle and pockets on both sides at the bottom.Over this she wears a black leather jacket, identical to that of the biker jackets, it too has a large Krookodile print on the back, but this one is of a full-bodied Krookodile. Sunny always keeps the sleeves shoved up to her elbow. She wears a pair of baggy black cargo pants and black and white hightops. She keeps her Pokeballs in a pouch sowed to the inside of her leather jacket.


In contrast to her personality, she looks like a delinquent.

Personality
Krookodile is a very smug, 'cool' Pokemon. Never to be found without his Black Glasses on, Krookodile thinks he's the king of cool. However, do not let yourself think this mean he's easy to beat, Krookodile is a veritable powerhouse, well known in his own gym for his One Hit K-O on weaker Pokemon.

Golurk is exactly what you think he would be like, a quiet sentry. Golurk rarely makes a peep, instead following Sunny around like a huge, ominous shadow. He can be very disconcerting to those trying to approach her, as he simply stands there staring. Golurk's loyalty knows no bounds and he would never be found too far from Sunny.

Personality
Swampert is a bit...creepy. He has a penchant for hiding behind bushes and peeking at at people. he can be found hiding behind trees, walls, anywhere that can hide him, those big, orange eyes staring at you. Sunny has no idea when he started this behavior, but it has lead to more than one many late night freights. Swampert is shrouded in a creepy, dark vibe even though he is a very sweet Pokemon. At least according to Sunny, no-one else seems to want to get near him.

Garbite is a very calm Pokemon and it takes a lot to rustle his jimmies, even in the thick of a fast and furious battle he still remains a half-lidded portrait of relaxation. Garbite is never excited or bursting with energy, he goes at his own pace.

Personality
She is generally a calm girl and expresses her feelings through words. Kierstyn almost always wears a 'poker face' and very few people have been able to detect her emotions through it. When a battle begins, her face remains straight, eyes barely touched with bloodlust. However, she is a killer and likes to see blood spilled. Kierstyn is by no means a girly-girl, but is not a tomboy either. Resting at a happy medium is good enough for her.

Kierstyn is very social, and depends on her status as a social butterfly to solve a lot of problems. Being a flirt comes naturally to her, and she will do anything for the right piece of information. Humor is very important to her, even though she doesn't show her smile often. Once she does smile, she can't stop for hours. Her smile is often called 'cute' and she has to fake it sometimes for people to grow comfortable with them. Sarcasm runs thick in her blood, and she is learning when to hold her tongue.

When people here her singing her favorite songs, they often look at her utterly confused. She listens to rap, rock, pop, country, and even classical. Pretty much if it isn't gospel or metal she is okay with it. Remaining truly single until she can legally drink alcohol has been her goal since she was about eight. Kierstyn is a devoted person, even under all of her hard outer layers, it sometimes shows.

Physical Description
Kierstyn is a tall girl with a light face and striking eyes. Her blonde hair is cut just below the shoulder, and often changes style. However, she usually keeps it in a pair of braids because her hair is so thin. It has gotten thicker since she was little though. She loves to wear green, especially if it makes her eyes prettier. A bright green highlights her eyes, but they grow lighter toward the pupil.

She has long legs and a medium torso, outlined by slender arms and a angular, yet soft, face. Full lips add to her beauty, complimented by long eyelashes and perfectly shaped eyebrows. Kierstyn does have freckles, and a good supply of them. But, she was lucky enough to get them in a light variety, so they don't show all of the time.

However, she isn't perfect. Her teeth aren't perfect, most of them are slightly different sizes and tilted. She has shunned the idea of getting braces though, and continues to do so. After she finds someone who loves her even with her condition she will get them.

Raichu is a sour Pokémon who has little loyalty or bravery, but is cunning. She does have care for some others, mainly babies, and shows it at times. Coming from a divided family made her appreciate what she has, because it could be gone almost instantly. Others see her as a good mother, being as she would do anything to protect those younger than her- even give her life.

She respects those who know what they are doing and don't act ignorant, as well as the ones who have the honesty to admit that they made a mistake. Lying has never, and will never, gone over well with the fiesty girl. Raichu may have a sweet, innocent voice and looks, but in a second she would rip your heart out if you lied to her. Trust is another big thing with the Pokémon.

Luxray is a man who hates being lost for words or speechless because he almost always has a comeback. Twisting words is an easy pass time for him, and it drives many other beings away from him. He has a habit of climbing trees to get away from the noise and stress of life. To him silence is perfection, like a mother's voice. Other Pokémon often under estimate his true kindness and care because of the way he treats most of the things around him.

Inside of him, beneath that hard exterior lies a passionate, loving side that has never really came out. The love of a girl or a mother might have made this side of him show brighter, and might still. Luxray would never admit it, but he does like to have fun and express himself without dry humor. A true laugh can bring anyone up, and that is what he needs.

Ampharos is a guy who always wears a smile- devious or not- and likes to laugh. Very few girls are actually interested in him though, and the ones that do never make it to par. The beauty within him is just as well expressed as the beauty without, yet many fail to notice it.

A sharp tongued guy who is quick on his feet and rarely lost for words. This comes off sorely at times, and is often seen as rude. He ignores the bad things that others say, as well as the good. Nothing just anybody says is taken to heart with him.Memory lacks at times, but he always takes responsibility for his actions. He doesn't regret things, and rarely apologizes, because what has happened is over with, and can't be changed now.

Incredibly strategic and rather cold-hearted in terms of logic, Alex is primarily a user of advantages. Therefore, she chose the Dragon type mostly because of their all around resistances to most Pokemon types. From there, she shaped her Pokemon party to cover the inherent weaknesses. You might see some of that in her party, but more on that later.

While she might be a very analytical battler, Alex does have a heart for her Pokemon. She'll never drive them more than they can, especially if that means that they'll end up losing harder than they would've. Similarly, Alex knows when the gig is up. When that happens she usually goes back to a difficult and intense training regimen. Alex is incredibly competitive, you see. Everything is competition to her, and she strives to win at everything. It's just in her nature. She refuses to lose, and when she does she trains hard and goes back to win an even greater battle than the one before. If it was a mistake out of the battle though, Alex is kind of at a loss. Her personality is somewhat off putting, so she's not really the best person you might want to go to in case you need moral support. She'll lend you her ear, but mostly she'll give you tough words and harsh advice instead of warmer encouragements. No offense to people who do do that, but Alex finds these similar to "fluff" and are not overly constructive in the long run. Therefore, she doesn't bother indulging in them.

When she's not trying to win everything she possibly can, Alex is either sleeping or eating. One of the two. She's incredibly lazy about anything either than keeping her Pokemon party in shape. She dislikes exercising herself, and she dislikes doing chores and errands. It's a wonder she's not completely fat by now. She's kind of lucky.

Anyways, Alex enjoys being able to do what she wants when she wants, so that makes her a bit of a pain to work with. She may very well leave everything to you because she doesn't feel like doing anything that day. If you bribe her with food, though, you might get somewhere. She loves food. Like, food is awesome. When she goes to a new city she can't wait to eat the food.

While she seems like a real pain in the butt, Alex is actually quite the loyal friend. She'll never stab you in the back [unless you stab first, in which case it's just her giving karma a push], and she'll abstain from gossiping about you. She loves being around people and laughing and talking about stupid stuff. What she doesn't prefer but is willing to do is going to big shopping centers and going around buying merchandise just because. That usually wears her out, and anyway she likes the atmosphere of friends just conversing about the trivialities of their lives in someone's basement during a thunderstorm. It just seems homey to Alex.

If she ever does take a responsibility, she'll do her best to finish it and follow through--mostly because she doesn't want to say that she couldn't do it. Her pride is at stake, here!
Physical Description
Alex's skin tone is very light. For some odd reason she can't explain she can't really tan very well. She doesn't even know what it is, so don't even ask. Her weight is about one hundred and thirty pounds [130 lbs]. Standing at about five feet and seven inches [5'7''], you can say that Alex is on the taller side. Her hands and feet are rather small for her height, however. It somewhat frustrates Alex when she's opening a container with a spinning cap because sometimes her hand doesn't quite grasp the entire lid. But moving on. Alex's height is mostly from her longer legs which, ironically, is the feature that she's most insecure about. She feels like the knees look kind of weird and her thighs are somewhat fat. In reality they're perfectly normal legs. She's just being a paranoid teenager, which she's quite ashamed about, I'll have you know. Her hips are wider, giving her some shape, but her torso is flatter in comparison. Yeah, there are some curves there, but in general Alex is more of a "pear" shape than an "hourglass" shape. In terms of body shapes, that is. Her shoulders are on the narrow side and slope, which makes wearing shoulder bags a struggle. Alex prefers belts with lots of pockets or a bad that hangs at the shoulder but is slung across her body for the bag to rest on the opposite side. Her arms are somewhat longer than they should be in proportion to her torso, but it's nothing freakish or completely noticeable. Her neck is on the longer side. Her face is more on the rounder side. She has some baby fat around her cheeks that never quite went away, much to her consternation.

Going into more detail about her face and head in general, Alex's head is on the more circular side, although it's not like it's a perfect sphere. That'd be just weird. Her cheeks fill in her head shape a bit, which may be why it looks rather round. Her eyes are on the thinner side, but that's only because they're hooded. That means that when she opens her eyes the eyelids fold forwards over her eyes rather than folding backwards under the eyebrow. Her eyes are a darker brown. In dark lighting they might even look black. Most people agree, however, that she's more of a brown. Her nose is a bit more flat than one might expect but is also somewhat wide across her face. You can't really say it looks ugly. It's just how it is. Her hair is black [or really dark brown]. It is cut in layers such that the longest ends end at the midpoint between her chin and her shoulders, and the shortest point is at the very back, where the hair gradually becomes shorter from the front to end there. The shortest point is on her neck, in line with her chin. She does have bangs, which typically hood her forehead and come down just above her eyebrows. To make her hair a bit more interesting, Alex put in a layer of blue on the bottom half of her already layered hair. Thus, the topmost layers are black while her lower layers are blue.

Alex stands with a confident aura, and her arms are usually crossed--not because she's trying to drive you away, but only because she wants something to do with her arms or else she feels awkward. She tends to roll her shoulders inwards, however, and her stature isn't the best in the world, especially when she wears heels--which she never does. You can never catch her dead in heels.

Though, without a doubt, she loves all of her pokemon. If anything happens to them, it's as if she just got hit by a truck or something. She takes it as a big deal and most people know it. She can be a big crybaby when it comes to this fact.

Even with that fact, she takes battling seriously. She didn't get her position for nothing, after all. Losing isn't as much of a deal to her as her pokemon and she'll forget totally about the loss and will run strait to her pokemon. She cannot keep a strait face for Anything! She will either be cracking in a grin at times, or she will be frowning like Medusa with a bad hair due (Pun, horrible pun!) When angry, her face can contort to the most face you've ever seen. It twists backwards and her head is turned upside down so that her eyes are on her mouth and her mouth is on her eyes! She goes like a psycho lunatic and runs towards people crawling on all fours and hissing like a mad fit.

No, she doesn't do that, she tries to joke around a lot, though she has horrible jokes anyways. She thinks they're great and laughs at them herself sometimes. She has horrible lines all together and stumbles on her words sometimes.

She can become absentminded and lose track of her thoughts easily. She mixes things up just as easy and sometimes cannot get her facts strait. But, she looks just as cute when she does mess up then anything.

One of her hobbies is to read and write short stories about pokemon she meets. Even if she doesn't catch them. She loves to write horror stories about pokemon she meets in dark places and at night and loves to write happy ones as well. All depends on her mood. He immediately ran over to the voice and enjoyed the small company with Banette in the mine. Banette had began a battle without Serenity knowing and she eventually caught him.

Collin Oliver Cross isn't shy or antisocial, although sometimes it might seem this way. He can deal with crowds on a semiregular basis, but in between these times he has to find places to be alone. It's not that he doesn't like people, or like being with people, it's just that he prefers his own company and that of his Pokemon. He's well aware that social interaction is part of being a normal person, and enjoys being with the people he knows well. When it comes to other aspects of his life, such as acting friendly and being a gentleman, Collin tends to excel. He lives to make others happy. He is intelligent and bookish, but lacks in street sense. He picks up languages and instruments more quickly than others, but his skill in sporting events is sadly lacking.

Now that he's all grown up, Collin has decided that it's time to leave Goldenrod City and make a life for himself somewhere else. Not before he takes a trip home to Huia Isle, of course, just for nostalgia's sake.

Physical Description
Collin is shorter than average, standing at about 5'9''. He weighs 140lbs; light, because he isn't the most muscular of men. His arms are, in fact, rather like noodles. He has long legs, good for running, but when he was younger they made him awkward. In fact, the fourteen- and fifteen-year-old Collin Cross closely resembled a stork, with a body comprised mainly of elbows and knees. He had and still has thin fingers, good for playing the piano. He has a kind face and a rounded nose, along with freckles. Freckles all over. He has dark brown hair, light skin, and brown-hazel eyes. He's rather plain, the kind of person whose face doesn't come immediately to mind when his name is mentioned. Something has to be added; "the scrawny, nerdy kid with brown hair" or "mister noodle arms with freckles".

Westing is just about as average a Pokemon as they come. He has nothing special to set him apart from wild Meowth; he wears no jewelry or collars, knows no special humanoid tricks. The only thing that sets him apart from others of his kind is his talkativeness. He meows constantly, often for no reason at all. It drives Collin crazy, which might be why he seems to enjoy it so much. He's as loyal as a cat can be, which means that he comes and goes and does basically whatever he wants. When Collin goes into town, Westing is often the Pokemon that walks with him. His relationship with Skittles is something like a protective older brother; he keeps her as safe as he can, but sometimes he just can't take her constant cheerfulness. He strongly dislikes Lokik, particularly because the Minccino nearly drowned him at one point.

History
It had been hours since nightfall, and many more remained until dawn. The stars shone dully overhead, blocked in the most part by clouds. There was not a single sound on the plains except for a quiet rusting when the wind blew across the tall grass. A Persian sat tall, watching his sleeping pride with eyes as black as jet. He heard a noise to his left, but before he could turn to face it a mighty Skarmory was upon him. With a few swipes, the battle was over; the Persian had been unprepared and was therefore completely helpless.

The trainer in charge of the Skarmory watched with cold eyes as his Pokemon decimated the pride, knocking out each and every Persian, even going so far as to turn on their young Meowth kits. It was over almost before it had begun, and then the trainer was gone, taking his newly leveled-up Skarmory with him.

When the sun rose the next morning, it found a young man wading through the sea of grass. He seemed to be having a great deal of trouble with it, and this was due mostly to the fact that his knobbly knees were completely out of his control. They jerked him first one way, then the other, as he fought to work them properly. He eventually tripped, and the pokeball he had been carrying bounded out of his hand and away. Cursing quietly under his breath, the sixteen-year-old scurried after it on his hands and knees. The pokeball rolled out into a clearing and the boy followed, stopping dead when he saw what lay beyond. A pride of wild Persian, laying unmoving in the morning sun. Dew sparkled in their fur and the young man could hardly breathe for fear that they would wake up and eat him.

That's when he realized; these Pokemon weren't asleep. They were unconscious. All of them. Some were slashed, others bruised, a few looked like they had been picked up and dropped from a great height. Horrified, the young man started to back up, leaving his pokeball in the clearing where it had stopped. Then he heard something, and paused for a moment to listen. It was a quiet mewling, high-pitched and keening. Turning his head first left, then right, the young man searched for the location of the noise. Then he crawled towards it, parting the grass as he went. What he found shocked and saddened him. It was a small Meowth, curled between the front paws of an especially large Persian, mewing helplessly. It didn't struggle as the young man caught it gently in a pokeball, but neither did it stop wailing. Collin Oliver Cross was haunted by the noise all the way to the Pokemon Center that lay next to the gym in which he worked.

Lokik is a trickster at heart, always getting into idle mischief. He likes tugging Westing's tail, both literally and metaphorically, but he's long grown bored of trying to make Skittles angry. Sometimes, though, his lighthearted pranks have an underlying feeling of menace to them. Once he tripped Westing, causing the Meowth to fall into a ditch filled with water. The cat Pokemon would have drowned if Collin hadn't heard his howling and pulled him out.

Collin always has his eye on this small Pokemon, and keeps him inside his Pokeball as much as possible in order to prevent him from seriously hurting somebody. He doesn't know whether or not Lokik would really do such a thing, and that's just the problem. Lokik is extremely tricky and exceedingly clever. Besides that, he doesn't seem to have any moral standards. He does what he wants because he can. The only Pokemon he seems to care for or respect is Skittles, and that only because he failed to make her sad with his constant pranks.

History
Run. Run as far and fast as you can. Don't you ever stop running because if you do, we'll know. We'll know and we'll catch you and we'll kill you. And it won't be the kind of killing you recover from, where we leave you blacked out all alone. Oh no, you'll be properly dead. No pulse. No breathing. No nothing. Now get out of here!

The small Pokemon woke with a terrified shriek, nearly tumbling out of the tree he was nesting in for the night. He panted, cream-colored fur darkened slightly with sweat. That was the third night terror in a row- at this rate, he might well never sleep again. Maybe that wouldn't be bad. Did sleeping count as stopping? Did they know? Was it against the shadow's rules to pause for rest? He didn't know who the shadow was. Or were. There might have been more than one of them. He had been so young, too young for a horror like that. To see bloodshed. To see real killing. Real death. His parents, his aunts and uncles and cousins, the whole colony. All gone. All properly dead.

Collin Oliver Cross was hot, itchy, and tired. He had spent far too long trekking through the backcountry of the Unova Region, even though doing so was sure to get him a promotion at the Goldenrod Gym where he studied. He was nineteen years old and itching for something new. Then he saw it. Movement in the trees. Crouching down, he took a pokeball from his belt and crept forwards. A furry cream-and-white Pokemon sat huddled on a branch, shivering slightly. There was something odd about it, but the trainer couldn't put his finger on it. Maybe it was sick? Collin cocked back his arm and threw the Pokeball. It opened, swallowing the small creature in one gulp. It shivered and Collin crossed his fingers, hoping beyond hope- one shiver, two shivers- and then it popped open and the Pokemon fled into the trees. The last thing Collin saw of it was an odd curling white stripe down its tail. "Rats!" cursed the student. The pokeball he had used was broken now, and completely useless. He tossed it in his bag so he could throw it away later.

A few hours later, Collin finally reached his destination. It was a small town on the edge of a lake, and an elderly couple had given him an empty room upstairs. He set his things- backpack, belt, headscarf- on the small bed, then went to take a shower.

When he reentered the room, he saw his bag shaking. Clutching his towel tighter around his waist, the young man stepped forwards cautiously. Grabbing his backpack, he tilted it sharply towards himself. He nearly dropped his towel in shock when he saw what was inside. It was a Pokemon exactly like the one he had seen earlier, down to the strange white curl on its tail. The Pokemon looked up at him, cheeks stuffed full of Collin's provisions. In its eyes was something like malice, but then the student blinked and it was gone. The Pokemon didn't seem bothered by the fact that he was blatantly stealing, in any case, and went willingly into a pokeball when it was offered. That seemed strange to Collin, but it was a Unova Pokemon and that's what he had been sent to find. He could go home.

Skittles is innocent and naive, much like her first trainer. She's constantly cheerful, and it seems like nothing can get her down. She doesn't like to see anyone sad, but it's hard to be depressed around this Skitty. She just loves everyone unconditionally, trusting everyone she meets wholeheartedly. It's bound to get her into trouble someday, but with Lokik and Westing to protect her it hasn't happened yet.

History
Sophia Olivia Cross was four years old when she found a small Skitty kitten in the woods. Her brother, who was nine at the time, was out practicing throwing pokeballs or whatever it was that he did in his free time. Sophie had tagged along because she was bored at the house and didn't want to get dragged into doing chores. After realizing that her brother was boring too, she wandered off into the trees. She saw a Poliwag and chased it; the little girl would have run right into a swamp if a pink kitten hadn't cried out to her from a tree nearby. Sophie turned towards the Skitty instead, forgetting all about the Poliwag she had been chasing before. When her brother finally realized that she was missing, he looked all over to no avail. When he finally found his sister, she was curled up at the base of the tree, fast asleep. The small Skitty kitten was curled up in her arms.

Sophie named the kitten "Skittles" and the two soon became fast friends. When her brother turned fourteen, though, he was called to start his apprenticeship at a gym in the Johto Region. Sophie was nine now, the same age Collin had been when the girl found Skittles in the woods. Before her brother left, Sophie pressed Skittles on him as his first official Pokemon. The two have been together ever since.

Bei had been an egg that was left in the woods. One day, a young Raiko was wandering the woods, when he has spotted a Staraptor fly down, diving at something. Bei, within his cold, dark egg, could feel and hear the loud banging on his shell as the large flying type took swipes at him. A sudden sound of human speaking cought his unhatched attention. Within his egg, he opened his little eyes and moved his head. Sudden warm arms came around him, and he felt safe for the first time. When he hatched, it was as if this young being had been there all his life. From day one of being hatched, he understood Raiko, whom understood him back.

Cought as a Shelmet by a small girl, she was traded to Raiko for a Karablast. When she finally met her new trainer, Abbi absolutely resented him for the loss of her cute little form. She used to never listen, and often had to be held back by Bei. But, one morning, when she had wandered off into a forest, a Flareon had gone on a rampage, and her ribbons got cought on a tree. As the forest was burning up, and Abbi knew she was a goner, she heared a voice call her name. When she looked down with terrified eyes, there was Raiko. Even though the tree was on fire, Raiko climbed it fearlessly and got her free. Since then, Abbi has felt that she owes her life to Raiko.

Beedrill was raised by Bugsy, and given as a present to Raiko for his hard work. Beedrill, being hard-headed as well, beleives he was stolen, and beleives this firmly. He always tries every way to offset Raiko, and therefore, stays in his ball most of the time.

A cunning, brave, daring, and strong warrior. He can be aggressive and/or defensive when not stubborn. Kale values his strength and lacks at social skills. He is often found alone with his Pokemon or completely by himself. He is one who only trusts few, however many are able to have trust in him due to his confidence and skills. He is physically very strong and is not afraid to pick a fight, which can cause him much trouble since he doesn't always know what he is getting himself into to. Kale is tough down to the core and he can be a bit of show off but would risk his life for someone he really cares about.

He distances himself from the others, sometimes uses training or trips as excuse to get away from the daily bustle of normal life. He is one who carves adventure and does not like people who stand in his way. Overall, Kale has the image of a dark and mysterious young man who has great strength but does not always look to the brightest path. He is the one who takes the less travelled road and seeks danger because he thinks that hoping for the best is just a waste of time.
Physical Description
Kale is very tall with a muscular build. He has lightly tanned skin with short, straight raven black hair. He has striking sea blue-green eyes. They can change from a calm ocean to a brutal storm quickly, especially if something/someone anger him. He most often wears shorts with a tank to show off his athletic body, along with an upper arm band for his Pokeballs. On cooler days he wears jeans, a simple t-shirt, and a dark sweater. He also carries a one-shouldered backpack for all his supplies.

Alex can be quite confusing. He comes across as the cold guy, the uninterested one, the one that does not care for what surrounds him, the one that enjoys sarcasm and wit, and uses it way too often. He always acts chill and composed, but, deep down, he cares. It's just that he's been cheated by life so many times, he can't bother to show anymore. He'd rather just wait for that special someone to open up his badly stitched up seams, and close them properly.

Alex is very partial to eye-raising, cocky wit, sarcastic retorts, eyebrow wiggling and suppressing dramatic sighs. He's quiet; whomever manages to wring a word out of him is actually quite lucky. He never means any wrong, but he usually gets into bad starts with everyone because he's pesimistic about life. However, he couldn't seem to care less, and will shrug off any blaspheming with a well practiced, nochalant shrug.

This is all explained by his mucked up past. Alex cannot care to give a turd until someone shows that they might want to help him. Only then, and under very special circumstances, will Alex begin to open up, to show his true self. Once he is warmed up to, Alex smiles more, becomes more relaxed. More... young, would be the word, for he holds a stiff prescence only seen in uncomfortable adults.

Once he is open, Alex becomes quite jovial. He jokes, he laughs - must I note, he has a tinkling, heart-warming laughter - he talks, he debates. Nevertheless, one wrong turn, and he will be back on the stiff side. Alex could be said to be wearily-treaded land; one misstep, and you'll be blown to bits by a mine.

Alex is quite the site to see when angry. It seems he fumes liquid nitrogen, turning the air so intensely cold with his hatefull stare that he could shrivel the toughest pear out there. I suggest, once he asks you to leave, you do so. He knows his limits, and he will only ask once. If he is pushed further, he becomes blasphemous, picking at everyone's flaws and problems with such ease, it is scary. His voice becomes booming, vengefull, even. Alex does not enjoy being angry, but is easily angered. It takes him some time to cool down, and, even then, he will continue to be irked.

Alex has a hard time making friends, but, once he makes them, he is loyal to the bone. He will not give up on them for anything in the world, and hates those who cheat, lie and are false. In this way, it could be said that Alex is somewhat naïve, but he'd rather be surrounded by a small hanfull of true friends than a bunch of complete suckups.

Physical Description
Alex has a lithe, well-muscled body that disguise his strange antics; strong, defined arms cloak thin bones and a well-kept 'pack lies on his stomach. He has bony hands, wherein one may note the tendons wriggling under the skin and veins pulsating meekly, and an - almost - lanky frame exposed by not overly wide shoulders, jutting bones and the beggining of definiton muscle-wise.

His face could be described simply as jaunt, not plain, angular, alike the rest of his features. His semblant is usually composed, although his facial expressions vary from moment to moment, becoming the bubbling laughter in an akward situation or the ice-cold personality in a warm moment. He has thin, defined lips, and high, full chekbones, gaining a dimple to his right side when smiling. He has straight, white teeth, and a nerve-inspiring smile; his eyes usually reflecting his thoughts on the situation - ie. he may seem composed yet maintain sparkling eyes or smile warmly with nothing but hatred in them - in their unnerving, misguiding way. He has long brown eyelashes with similar, un-crowded yet unkempt eyebrows that frame his strange eyes; a pair of dim, unnequal gems coloured in turqoise and cloudy-sky blue. However, this difference is minimal from afar and can only be noticed from three or four - at most - metres away.

He weighs 65kg, and is 1.75 metres high, giving him a very lanky - not burly - appearance.

He has deep russet hair, and wears it unkempt, casually. It is not excedingly long, and has a bit of a lank curl to it.

His stance is complicated in the way that he carries himself in a nochalant manner most of the time with a hint of cockyness and strength, which makes him stand out as he seems to look bored but usually isn't. However, he can become rigid in a manner of seconds, neat, poised, elegant, but still keep his hands in his pockets and smile silkily to his opponnent. This boy is a two-face, and he isn't that afraid to hide it, rather displaying it subtly as to confuse others on his direction in thought by raising his tone while remaining calm or making his posture aggressive while smiling inocently.

His voice is like silver; solid and spiked when dangerous, silky and flowingly liquid when deceptive and basically non-existant, gaseous, when stunned for words, which is not often. His voice might be considered irritating by some - actually, quite the many.

She is generally a calm girl and expresses her feelings through words. Kierstyn almost always wears a 'poker face' and very few people have been able to detect her emotions through it. When a battle begins, her face remains straight, eyes barely touched with bloodlust. However, she is a killer and likes to see blood spilled. Kierstyn is by no means a girly-girl, but is not a tomboy either. Resting at a happy medium is good enough for her.

Physical Description
Kierstyn is a tall girl with a light face and striking eyes. Her blonde hair is cut just below the shoulder, and often changes style. However, she usually keeps it in a pair of braids because her hair is so thin. It has gotten thicker since she was little though. She loves to wear green, especially if it makes her eyes prettier. A bright green highlights her eyes, but they grow lighter toward the pupil.

She has long legs and a medium torso, outlined by slender arms and a angular, yet soft, face. Full lips add to her beauty, complimented by long eyelashes and perfectly shaped eyebrows. Kierstyn does have freckles, and a good supply of them. But, she was lucky enough to get them in a light variety, so they don't show all of the time.

However, she isn't perfect. Her teeth aren't perfect, most of them are slightly different sizes and tilted. She has shunned the idea of getting braces though, and continues to do so. After she finds someone who loves her even with her condition she will get them.

She respects those who know what they are doing and don't act ignorant, as well as the ones who have the honesty to admit that they made a mistake. Lying has never, and will never, gone over well with the fiesty girl. Raichu may have a sweet, innocent voice and looks, but in a second she would rip your heart out if you lied to her. Trust is another big thing with the Pokémon.

He has a habit of climbing trees to get away from the noise and stress of life. To him silence is perfection, like a mother's voice. Other Pokémon often under estimate his true kindness and care because of the way he treats most of the things around him.

Inside of him, beneath that hard exterior lies a passionate, loving side that has never really came out. The love of a girl or a mother might have made this side of him show brighter, and might still. Luxray would never admit it, but he does like to have fun and express himself without dry humor. A true laugh can bring anyone up, and that is what he needs.

A sharp tongued guy who is quick on his feet and rarely lost for words. This comes off sorely at times, and is often seen as rude. He ignores the bad things that others say, as well as the good. Nothing just anybody says is taken to heart with him.Memory lacks at times, but he always takes responsibility for his actions. He doesn't regret things, and rarely apologizes, because what has happened is over with, and can't be changed now.

Cassie has a loud and boisterous personality, and her pokemon are usually very similar. She is not a prissy soul, she prefers to be open and loud about her thoughts. Although she is a very loyal friend she can sometimes come off as hostile to strangers. Her pokemon mean the world to her, and everything she does is in their best interest. Water is almost a part of her now, without her pokemon Cassie would not be who she is today.

Physical Description
Cassie is very slender, blonde haired, with a height of 5'9" and a weight of 135 lbs. She wears her long blonde hair in large loose curls that hit mid back, and she prefers to wear a turquoise tank top with shorts. She also wears a small tear drop shaped necklace, a small reminder of the water pokemon trainer she is. She has piercing blue eyes, and small slender fingers. Her skin can be described as an olive hue, and she enjoys wearing gladiator shoes.

Grace is wonderful and a sweet girl. She is young, and very smart. Though, many think of her as a shy unstable adult. She keeps much of her emotions mentally inside her and hides it away. She shows only a little emotion, occasionally bringing up a smile to look friendly. She loves to be around her friends and pokemon. Grace is very spiritual, and loves to spend time in the forest near her hometown.
Grace has very high tolerance, and will deal with anything. She loves to make new friends, though may not be good at it. Another favorite activity is just laying with her pokemon. She is often quiet, and will agree with anything to make someone happy. She is a very soft girl, but will stand up for herself if she doesn't like something.

With long flowing white hair and luxurious blue eyes, many are taken by her beauty. At first sight, you may see A long skinny figure with a beautiful snow white dress. She stands to be in average height, and anorexic. Her hair is always in two piggy tails, and covered by side bangs. She wears 3 outfits;

You can catch Grace wearing her everyday adventurers outfit. Unlike her hometown, it's not all cold in the outside world. She wears a plain light bright blue tank top the stops above her belly. To cover up, she wears a light grey jacket with a few pockets and long loose sleeves. Her jacket also has a large bow right on the front. Upon her head is a light blue beanie, same color as tank top. She also wears dark blue pants, very tight and have no pockets.

At her hometown, she is known for her outfit. It's nothing special, just a few accesories added onto a jacket and pants. On her jacket is a pokemon ball design with a dark blue collar. Her base color is a light blue. She has baggy dark grey pants that fall over her shoes. Also keeping her warm, this cozy outfit is a pleasure for Grace to be in.

Sneasel is a young male, with a sharp attitude. He loves to disobey and do things he wants. Grace is primarily his target for any pranks he plays. When in danger, Sneasel will fight till he can't. He believes there are no greater threats than himself. If put on reliability, you will be disappointed. Sneasel will try to run off if taken from his ball. Grace is one of the few trainers that can put up with this attitude, and still loves him
History
Sneasel was found abandoned by another trainer because of it's disappointing attitude. Grace found Sneasel shivering in the cold and fighting other animals for food. She immediately opened up to this helpless soul.
