Star blinked, and turned to Shadow again, feeling like a mouse-brain. "What herbs do we need, come nightfall? Marigold? Thyme? Catmint? " she shot off a few herbs, knowing more than a few remedies. Her mother had been trained in healing before she had died all those moons ago.

Buck was impressed. He didn't know too many of the herbs Star mentioned. He didn't show it on his face but his eyes said so.
