Lexi looked at him and wiped her tears away. She walked up to the wall farthest away from Max an leaned against it. "Sorry...I just got in over my head Max..." she said, sliding down the wall, and sitting on the cold concrete ground.

[fly away.]

Max shrugged a little bit, "Doesn't matter, Lexi." He said, shaking his head. He finally opened his eyes, staring over at her. "I had friends, you know. I wasn't some lonely dude."

[CatchingClouds]

"I was... I never had any friends..." Lexi sighed. She closed her eyes and stoppe crying. Lexi looked at him and stood up, deciding to walk over to the metal gate separating them.

[fly away.]

"I had a life, I was just some kind of kid that ran around looking for people to kill, or p*ss off." Max shook his head again, "I wasn't like you, I had a family. A dad and a twin brother." He fell silent.

[Angry.Jackal]

"Oh they didn't steal anything, just me. And it's not what I stole, it's how much I stole. I've been stealing ever since I was little to feed the whole group." Destiny shrugged, "They did a lot worse things then steal."

Jack sighed. "Oh. Why didn't you just get food from the store? Or your house?" He laughed quietly.

[CatchingClouds]

"You were happy... You had friends... You had a life... You should stay away from loners like me... I don't want it to rub off on you," Lexi said, trying to smile.

[fly away.]

"I didn't have a house, either did they," Destiny answered quietly. "We had no money."

Max shook his head, finally sitting up, "Maybe I should, but I doubt there's very many friendly people here."

"If I could stop being so stupid, maybe I could be friendly..." she sighed, hoping it was that easy.

[fly away.]

Max chuckled a little bit, "I know lots of people who are both stupid and friendly; they just befriend stupid people."

Lexi giggled quietly and leaned against the bars keeping them apart. She smiled at him and thought for a moment, biting her lip. "Well Max. Thank you for such encouraging words," she joked.
