Dear Lord, it was hot in here. Desperate to escape the furnace, Nathan exited his apartment room and descended down the stairs, long since abandoned any hope for the dilapidated elevator that the building provided. He made a nice racket down the stairs before he arrived at the ground level, glancing around the city nervously. As a half-demon, he was often ostracized as a freak.
Understandable.
Nathan stepped off onto the sidewalk and meandered aimlessly throughout the city, searching for something to do. He just didn't want to be home._____________________________________________________________________________

- Lilith clutched her stomach and she curled on the ground, cursing her lack of power. Why did she have such lame abilities? She cursed her misfortune in the field and she tried to control the urge to retch. F*** he didn't have to go all super strength Angel. She was already in a human vessel. Moaning, she allowed herself a few moments to recuperate on the ground, hoping Kiro would think of a better idea than she had.
Her stomach still churning but now more or less coherent, Lilith shakily rose to her feet and spat the bile at the ground at the Angel's. "There, my offering to God's almighty," Lilith spat spitefully. She was sorely tempted to run while she still could, but she couldn't just leave Kiro in the mercy of two Angels. She'd have to find another strategy. Where were her weapons when she needed them? Grimacing, she took an experimental step to the side. Think, Lilith. Strategize, plan, react. Focus.
But thank Satan. Another Demon had arrived--Ragne, Lilith recognized him. Not that they talked much. Admittedly Lilith didn't talk to many people in the business. Well, he was sweet talking the Angel--Faust, apparently. Cool, Lilith knew his name, now. That was convenient. That would be an excellent way to get more influence over him later. Hopefully, however, this would end without her throwing up all over the ground. Things were going badly as it was.
