Faladan nodded. "Mirkwood sounds like an adventurous and fascinating place indeed. Yes, I was raised for part of my youth in Lothlorien, until I was nearly fifteen. Then my father passed over the sea and my mother brought me to her home of Gondor. There I lived until a few years ago, when I traveled to Lothlorien again to see it once last time. My brother still lived there, but he came back with me and is now here. That fair forest has changed also, with the passing of the Three Rings over the sea with the Lady of Light, the White Wizard, and Elrond Half-Elven. It is less guarded and has lost much of its former glory. Caras Galadhon is falling into ruin, and there are not enough elves to maintain its beauty."

Description:
Like most shadows, Scarlett blends in with the night, barely visible in her black cloak. However, underneath her dark hood she hides her bright red hair, shoulder length and slightly curly. She hates it as it isn't favored when trying to obtain camouflage. She has light brown eyes that seem almost golden-coloured, and a mostly pale face. Scarlett is shadow-short but acts taller.
Personality:
Scarlett is a strong, ambicious, and determined lady that will fight for the fun of it just to see the suprized look on her opponent's face. She is determined to prove that she can outmatch them, standing strong possibly three feet below her enemy. Scarlett doesn't make friends very easily and focuses mostly on battle, keeping personal business out of the picture as to not mess up. Within all this she can lack certain intelligence and forget important details, not being very observant in most cases. If she is defeated she will stare in utter shock and find somewhere in the forest to sit alone. At times like that, she can be very wise and calm, realising the big picture and what is really necessary. However, she never mentions this since she thinks it is one of her weaker and fulnerable sides.

When she is defeated she becomes very weak, just staring in shock at her opponent. She then hides in a forest to calm herself, thinking everything over. She is very vulnerable then.

History:
Not much, was born into a family of fighters, but lost them when she became a shadow. She doesn't know much about her past and doesn't care about her parents wherabouts or who they are.

I like having one charrie at a time, so when Scarlett dies I'll make another one.

Eldilin nodded sadly. "The time of elves is coming to its end, but we can still fight for what is left of this world" he glanced up at the rocky peaks of the mountains, that seemed outlined in red and flames.
"Mordor" he muttered, shaking his head "All evil seems to appear in this very place. First the ring, and now the shadows" he remained thoughtful for a moment. "Do we know how many shadows are on the other side of these mountains?"
((Oh no! That has happened to me loads of times... so annoying ))

Faladan shook his head. "My scouts have not yet returned. A few shadows were glimpsed on this side of the peaks, but they disappeared when a party of riders got close. They are hard to catch, and will probably be even harder to fight. I sense that some new devilry is being concocted behind these dark mountains, something we have not yet seen." Carefully, he unrolled an old map of Mordor and pointed with his knife to the approximate locations of where the shadows had been seen. "None have come farther than these points."

Eldilin looked carefully at the map and nodded "They have an advantage in battle,as they are higher up, and we do not know the number of soldiers they have" he frowned." Perhaps we should enter through the (valley?) of Osgiliath? Then, they shall not have any escape but the mountains, meaning that they will have to fight us in open battle or escape through the mountains, which would mean that they are scattered and easier to track down" Eldiling wasn't very good at strategizing, but it was the best solution he could think of. The only problem was: What if they were outnumbered? They couldn't just risk open battle like that. Eldilin hoped that Faladan would come up with a better idea.

Faladan nodded. "Perhaps we could enter from the north, and cut in at several locations. A legion could go through the mountains from the west as a diversion to draw their forces into one spot. Then we could come in and occupy their camps with some of our troops and attack with the rest, where the diversionary troops can lead them into a narrow pass. That will form a bottleneck, and they will be packed close and can be easily trapped. If we put archers above them, they can thin their ranks from above while the rest of our warriors fight them on foot." He looked to Eldilin for approval, tracing his ideas out with a stick of charcoal from the fire.

Eldilin watched as Faladan traced out a plan on the map. He nodded after a few moments.
" You are right. There are many good archers that have come from Mirkwood, and if we are able to lure them into a small place, they shall not be a dificult catch, as long as it is not night. I have heard that they blend into the darkness, becoming almost invisible" he frowned thoughtfully. "What if they suprise us? We do not know what sort of creatures they may have at their service, nor what are their powers, nor their number. And we cannot send spies, as they would be recognised too easily"

"My scouts are already out there, gathering any information that they can. Anything they learn is what we will know. I fear that we may only get bits and pieces of information, but that is probably all we will get. If these creatures, these shadows are so hard to spy on, we may have to go off of minimal preparation and just take whatever we feel is necessary. Some elves can call animals to their service, can they not? Perhaps we can request the help of the eagles and the animals nearby to gather all they can about the threat." Faladan replied, worry in his tone.
