A grown dog I saw in the pound today. They said he was going to be put down in 3 hours if someone didnt adopt him. I went back, he was gone. No one had adopted him.

It's really sad how almost everyone who wants to adopt a cat or dog always go for the puppies and kittens who have a really long time until they have to be put down. One of my cats would have been put down in a month when we went cat browsing if my family didn't adopt her. We never regretted the decision. She's now 6 yrs old

I was watching this show where this shelter kills 250 pets a week (or is it month?) and it has the third highest kill rate in the US.
And did you ever hear about that story when this dog was poked by the needle and thrown into the place where they dump the dead pets, and then when the garbage man went to pick it up the dog was still alive? It was all over the news But that was a few months ago.
