To bring up more sad stories, my baby has a face tumor.
It's about half of the size of his face. I have no idea what to do, but my mom is gonna call the vet soon. He isn't as hyper or as jumpy anymore. I can actually touch him without him running around now. That's nice and all, but I'm heartbroken that he's only slowing down due to the tumor. I want him to be the old, jumpy self he used to be.

My other rat seems to notice the changes too, for they are unseparatable now. :C

@Animall- Thats so sad.. It seems like everyone's rats are going through troubles..
Heres my story. Monkey snezzed when we got her. She sneezed alot, so we took her to the vet. They had her for a month. Using powerful antibiotics, they healed her, she didn't sneeze as much. A few days ago, I gave Monkey her first bath. She HATED it; and when I got her out she wouldn't stop sneezing. She sneezes much more often now, and I don't know what is wrong. The vet said it was a respritory problem, but thats all I know..

You don't need to bath rats if they are healthy. Sounds like she is all stressed out after her bath more than anything else.

Its so sad, today at college I was looking at the rats and there is one with lots of hairless, bad breathing, underweight and really slow. I feel so sad for it but know college won't do anything. I can't take him/her home because I don't want to take the chance that my rats get ill. It's really upsetting to see the college rats suffering and being able to do nothing. ;(

Spiffy has passed.

She looked like she was going to pull through, was eating and drinking no problem.. but then after my nap I noticed Syria curled tightly around her, and Spiffy motionless.

Shark, Syria and I will miss the dear.. she was my first rat in this house.

On a happy note
Tinker is starting to come out of her shell! She's been a bit more calm we I touch her and she has started to eat outta my hand I figured out her favorite treat so that helps! And Phantom is just as cuddly as she's been since I got her! They are both such lovely rats. I have owned more female rats than make and for some reason i like female better o3o
