Bea made a quick glance behind her before adjusting herself into a more welcoming stance, it was hard to draw her attention away from the boy's eyes. They were just intriguing- As soon as the eyes contact seemed to drop to her shoes, she regained her poise. She meant to say it was fine, but ended up choking a bit on it as it turned into a giggle/snort sound. The joke itself wasn't too entertaining, but the delivery was timed in a perfectly awkward way. "I guess I would prefer my shirt that way too." She formed an agreeing tone once she successfully recovered from her horrid laugh. Her smile suddenly clicked with her eyes, as if realizing they had a job to do now that she could afford a real smile. The line moved up another four people, just a fingerbreadth away from the trays.
He smiled at the snort, as most girls tended to blush and try and cover up such things as that. Plus, he knew what he had said must have been extremely dorky or something, but it wasn’t often he spoke to strangers in the cafeteria line.
“Well, a toast to clean shirts.” He said, moving up in the lineup. Bea was already near the trays, and his stomach growled slightly, almost as if it wanted to participate in the toast. But, more likely, because it simply wanted some toast inside of it. He smiled sheepishly at the sound, “Oh, um, sorry about that. I guess I am just hungry. Growing boys need their food.”

✣Δ∂αм✣Яαʏиɛ✣βℓα∂ɛ✣♂/17/Single/October 7th 1994I’d brought everything to this school with me and had somehow managed to squeeze it into my half of the dorm. My guitars, my amp, my skateboard, and all my posters, cd’s, and video games, along with my clothes. Right now though, I was being the usual nuisance I always was. Personally I didn’t think I was bothering anyone by skateboarding on the marbled hallway floors. I was just cruising around, doing nothing in particular. Just pushing myself every so often with my right leg to regain my speed. The hallways were dead, empty, there was nobody in them. It was weird, but I didn’t care. “More skating room for me,” I’d laughed when I’d come out of my room wearing black skinny jeans, black DC shoes, and a dubstep t-shirt.
I pushed myself further ahead, blocking out all the voices that filled my head as I drifted past rooms. I’d finally found an object to do a trick on. It was a statue on a large stone block. I ollied onto it easily, grinding my board on the edge of it before clacking back down onto the floor. I was bored though, there was nothing to skateboard on in here. The terrain was too dull, no real room for tricks or anything else. So I hooked a left and started skating back to my own room so I could go play guitar or something.
Waking up was always the worst part of the day, in Ivy’s opinion. Not only did she have to give up the wonderful realm of her dreams and most likely forget them, she also had to leave the comfort of her bed and put her feet on the extremely chilly floor. But she didn’t complain, and was glad she had gotten an opportunity for a nap. She had decided she should wait until nightfall before attempting an escape, as too many people littered the yards. She was slightly lost though, once she left her room, and began to wander the hallways once more.
As she neared a corner, a boy on a skateboard came whipping around, and she jumped out of the way, landing perfectly on her feet and giving the boy a cold glare, and using an angrily hot voice. “Hey, watch where you are going on that thing.”
