Eaglesong looked at Spiderfrost, "Really? That's terrible! Who would do that?"He said in a disgusted voice, and stopped at the nursery entrance, "You first," He said, bowing his head.

"Who knows..." was all she said then entered the nursery. The Queen in question was curled up in a tight ball fast asleep, her plummy tail covered her nose. Her four kits all lay sporadically around her like a wall as if they were protecting her.

Eaglesong looked at Spiderfrost, and nodded, following her in, and looked at the odd formation Celestial and the kits had, "Do I need to wake her?" He whispered, knowing Dewstorm was also in there, her three kits un-seeable.

Spiderfrost shook her head at Eaglesong.

"I got it." she murmured and walked up the the kits. She placed her paw between two of the kits and moved them to the side with surprising gentleness. Her cold blue eyes seemed her lose there spitefulness. One of the kits, the smallest turned around to latch onto her leg, holding it like a dog did a bone. Spiderfrost huffed and rolled her eyes as she sat right there between the four kits as not to disturb the one that latched on to her. The action just didn't seem like the Medicine cats usual grumpy, violent nature.

Spiderfrost used her free paw to nudge Celestial awake. The she cat did and almost jumped.

"If you shreek you'll wake up these little runts so just shut up and listen." the she-cat was back to her usual bravado, but her voice was soft. Celestial nodded obediently.

"I am the Medicine Cat of this clan, Spiderfrost, you'll need to know that since you look so obviously malnourished. Did you just decide not to eat and just hunt for your kits or something?"

"Er...um....y-yes...My kits are more important..." Celestial stuttered.

"Well your mouse-brained for thinking your health doesn't matter. If you get sick there would be nobody to take care of these." she pointed to the leg that was being held hostage.

"Now go back to sleep, I'll be checking back up on you after you have squared everything away with Silverstar and gotten something to eat." Celestial nodded quickly.

"I-I understand!"

"Good now......can somebody get this runt off me..." Spiderfrost groaned.

Eaglesong looked at Spiderfrost, and purred, "Here, I will," He said, grabbing the kits scruff and gently yawnked him off. "There, see? Not that ha-" He stopped and turned around to see Dewstorm waking up, "Woops," He whispered, hearing once of the kits mew.

The best things come in tiny packages.

Dewstorm awoke from voices in the nursery. "Huh? Who's there?" She meowed protectivly, blinking her eyes to see Eaglesong, Spiderfrost, and a she-cat with four kits. "Who's that?" She said in a harsher tone, but understood that she was a she-cat. "Ooh! New den mates! Yay!" Startled, Dewstorm looked down to see the light ginger she-cat, Echokit, walking towards the kits. "No! Echokit! Come here!" She hissed, getting up to reveal the other two kits. "Huh? What's going on?" TUrning around, she meowed, "Nothing Steamkit, go back to sleep." "But mom! There's other kits!" Sighing, she looked over helplessly to the other cats.

The warrior climbed up to the branch the baby bird made home as quickly as possible. He had to make this quick and silent if he was going to get the future pest without it alerting its mother. Secretgrudge steadied himself and looked at the little thing as it peeped obliviously to the danger. It was trapped, without any means to escape since it could not fly. He launched himself into the hole and broke the little creatures body before an alert could be made. Then he poked his own head out of the nest.

"Any sign of the mother sleeping nearby?" he asked Moonshade.

The white back of the she-cat tensed and she turned her head to stare at Eaglesong with her usual scowl. She didn't know why, but his presence in her den irked her. And not just because he almost slashed the fur off her tail from their previous argument.

"What do you want?" she asked rudely.

~Nope Doggie, it will not be in my history since I didn't think of it until two nights ago

Moonshade looked around with narrowed eyes for a few moments. "No... I don't think so. Just make it quick.." she meowed up to him. She couldn't see anything, but she could definitely sense something else around the two. She turned slowly, hearing a small flutter of large wings. Her eyes widened and her yowl of alarm sounded too late as a huge, female owl swooped down towards her an d up again.
She hissed in pain as it's talon's traced over her back but she tried to climb up the tree. With his head in there, he wouldn't see the owl! Her heart pounded with fear for her clanmate. She dug her claws in hard, gripping the bark desperately and lashed out at the bird. It tried to reach in to snap at Secregrudge, failing, and fell back down to push Moonshade off once the dark she-cat latched one forepaw onto it's tail feathers. She tried to bring the giant bird down but it fought hard.
"Leave the chick, Secregrudge!" she screetched as she felt herself being dragged down the tree by the owl. It dug it's talons into Moonshade's foreleg and she hissed with rage and pain. SHe batted it's head and it let go instantly, but at the same time let go of the warrior as well. She was sent flying back to the ground as the owl fluttered around it's nest, a little of Moonshade's blood on it's talons as it screeched in confusion at the cat in her hole.

Spiderfrost thanked Eaglesong and turned to Dewstorm.
"Oh don't have a heart-attack Dewstorm. She'll be you new friend here in the Nursery."

Celestial bowed her head respectfully.
"I'm sorry our chatter woke you up."

Lynxkit cracked open her eyes at all the noise and saw Echokit hovering over her. She jumped and scampered behind her mother. She made a set of motions towards her mother with her ears and tail.

"Lynxkit don't be scared, go back and introduce yourself, I'll translate." The mute kit tilted her head and furrowed her brows as she turned to Echokit awkwardly.

"Arrgh, can't a future warrior get any sleep around here!?" Jaguarkit roared as he jumped up, clearly awake now.

Secretgrudge dropped the dead chick in his jaws when he heard the bird of prey screech. His eyes glowed in the darkness of the hole in the tree trunk as his exit was blocked by the bird. He felt panic sting his heart as a drop of blood dripped from its talons, was if Moonshade's? The warrior narrowed his eyes and hissed, no one hurt a clan mate while he was around and got away from it. He yowled in rage and bolted out of the nest and towards the owl.

"Give me your best shot bird-brain!" he growled.

Sagepaw nodded, letting out a small sigh in relief, "Thank you, and I-I didn't mean to come here and have kits, I didn't know it would happen," She said, her mood lifting up as she saw Silverstar's warm smile.

Owlscrape looked at her, and smiled warmly, "Okay, then," He said, dazing almost as she lifted his chin with her tail. Gosh she's so flirty! He thought, purring as he walked out of the camp behind Angelsong as he saw Eaglesong walk into the medicine cat den. Why is going in there so popular? Is there a secret celebration or something? He asked himself, padding heavily on the forest floor.

Silverstar nodded. "It's alright. You didn't know. Now, when Moonshade comes back, see if you can start training right away. You need to get in as much training as you can." she meowed in a bit of a more serious tone, but her eyes were still warm.

Angelsong walked right beside Owlscrape as they walked through the forest. She purred and she reached over, licking his cheek. Her tail was in the air flicking back and forth happily. "So, where are we going?" she asked with a voice like silk. Her gorgeous fur shimmered in the sunlight.

Moonshade's eyes widened after she'd dropped to the ground. She tried to get back on her paws and she watched in horror as the owl let out a blood-curdling screech. It swooped towards Secretgrudge in return, seeing it's chick lying there where he'd left it. It lashed out with it's talons the way it did to Moonshade but he was moving too fast. It turned in the air, irritation sparking in it's white face. Moonshade yowled loudly, growling afterwards; trying to distract the bird. It had worked, for it soon started to make it's way down quickly for the ultimate kill.
But Moonshade wasn't stupid. She brought it down for a reason and once it had flew towards her, she jumped to the side right on time and dug her claws into it's right wing, being lifted with it. It let out a painful call as it tried to shake the dark warrior off but she wouldn't let go. Her plan had worked; she was making it fly towards Secretgrudge...
Right when they neared him, the owl smashed into one branch above Secretgrudge and Moonshade let out a sharp yelp of pain; the tip of the branch digging into her side. Her clawed shoulder from the owl throbbed and she was thrown off the giant bird and sent back to the ground. She landed hard, and rolled over a few times. The owl was still dazed and just fluttered around only a tail-length away from Secretgrudge. That had been what Moonshade had wanted. "..N-Now, Secretgrudge!" she yelled feebly up to him as she lay on her side in the grass below.
