I don't think I could run an adoptable site. I could draw adoptables, but for a site to be grand like CS there is need for a lot of time and motivation, and not to forget, skills like Nicks. I don't have any of that.

Hey Spotty, on the "fake pet" lines,or any other lines,do you make custom character designs? I could add like an extra 2009 VR (no-store) to the wanted payment if needed.

I don't sell character custom designs anymore, I find it hard to design on demand I'm afraid. If I find the time I might start selling premade characters instead of donating them off though.

Probably a bad time.. but I just had a VERY special male rat pass away.. I only had him for four days, but in that time he opened my eyes and heart. He had severe brain damage/neurologic problems, couldn't eat or drink on his own and more or less could only flail/fall over. Everyone wanted to put him down, but I felt he was worth so much more and I just HAD to make him comfortable his last few days. He kept on kicking in the time I had him, and allowed me to love on him.. he ended up passing away in his sleep. he was my special child, and I miss him dearly.. so I was just curious..

Would you ever, in the future, take a full body rat commission, with, close to transparent angel wings or something?

I'd also like to say all the new orders are all lovely, and I definitely think I'll be prowling for the chance to hop on getting a few fake rat pets seeing as my oldest girl Spiffy is about to pass away..

Oh dear, I'm so sorry to hear about your rat. He must have been something really special. I've never had a rat with neurological problems, but I used to have a rat who got his neck brocken by a nastily careless child and he had a messed up balance after that. He was perfectly normal but he could roll over at the strangest of times and he held his head tilted. I'm sorry about your Spiffy as well, the only drawback with rats is that they don't live longer. :<
To answer your question, of course I'd accept a full-body rat commission. I love drawing rats. I've been practising drawing wings as well^^'. The only limiting thing here is time, as I don't have that in any great amounts at the moment, but the semester ends two weeks from now and I don't have a job this summer.

I spent a really long time figuring out the sizes and settings to make my fake pets as close as CS pets as I could, so I won't give away all the details. Basicly a fake pet is any regular drawing of a pet, that is then resized, and has a semi-transperant white bar added on the bottom with a username on. I use the font Visitor for the username tag, I'm not sure if it's the same as CS use, but at least it's similar. Most people who makes fake pet also adds a "FAKE" tag and their own username or signature.

Nope, the avatars will not be comming back. I've thought about offering avatarts again, but that'd probably be more in the style of my own avatar than the old linearts.
