Ugh, Neighbors

Postby RockehRawr » Tue Mar 16, 2010 10:54 am

This is sort of a rant, but anyone else is welcome to join in too xD I'm guessing not many people will read this, because it's pretty long, but I just need to vent.

I really, really dislike my neighbors. At first there were just 2 of them, they'd come over every day, a lot of times more than once a day, to "hang out with my brother." But really, they were just here to use our stuff. Usually our wii and computer. They'd both be on the wii while my brother ran around outside. And my brother doesn't seem to get that they're using him. A lot of days when we came home, they would be waiting by our house. One time we came home and they were inside our house! They must have watched my brother opening the garage with the garage combination one day, because they some how managed to get inside our house when no one was even home! They come into our backyard when no one's home! Except sometimes I'm home alone and I see them and tell them to leave. And then they met some new neighbors. Problem solved? Oh no, not even close. Now they bring the neighbors to our house, which by the way, they always just show up, never call first. How many new neighbors? Oh not many, just four or five! So now we have up to 6 or 7 people practically tearing apart our house. I'm also worried about my cats, because they seem to terrorize them. They left us alone for a while, but they came back today, and guess what? There's another new person! It's driving me crazy! There's also another neighbor, but he's not here all the time, only when he stays at his grandparent's house. When the first neighbor and him get together, it's horrible! Luckily my parents say they can't both be at the house at the same time. One of the first things they did together, they used a squirt gun on my cat! Not just a little bit, they were soaking him! I finally brought my cat inside where he could hide. Then they come inside, but they don't spray my cat. They decide to spray me and my computer! And this is indoors! I told my dad, and he yelled at me! Another time, I locked the door to my room and stayed there when they were over, but the lock on my door doesn't always work, so one of them comes in and starts throwing stuffed animals at my face! (And their hard plastic noses really hurt Dx). I tried to ignore him, but that didn't work, so I went into my mom's room while he left for a little while. Turns out he was looking for me, and when he finally found me, he started attacking me again! Luckily, my mom told him to leave me alone. Another time, while my friend was over, he shot marshmallows in our hair (that was actually when he first decided he could terrorize me, I think). Then he stole my purse and ran down the street with it! I tried to get it back, but I'm not very fast, so I asked my mom to tell him to give it back. She did, and he just kept running! He even ignored my mom! We finally got it back though, I can't remember how. Then my friend had to go home, and he stood in front of our car while we were backing out! How stupid can he get? Then when they finally moved, I saw out of the corner of my eye I think he made a sexist joke which I believe was directed at me. He usually only does that kind of stuff if him and the other neighbor are together.

tl;dr: I live in a neighborhood filled with little demons. Who abuse cats.
So, does anyone have any advice? Or any other horrible neighbor stories to share (I;m sure there's worse than my own xD)

This is literally criminal! ._. I mean, honestly - they might as well be STEALING your stuff when they come over. And terrorizing your cats?! Are they juvenile or adults? If they're adult (or close to it) they should definetly be reported. They won't be arrested or anything, but they'll probably get a warning. That should be enough. But if they aren't adult, do you have any way of reaching their parents? ._.

Ahh.. My neighbor walks his dog in the backyard, mind you we live in a complex, which says "Please clean up after your pet." so what his do? lets his dog poo and not clean it. Not to mention he's a police office

I think the oldest one is 13 or 14. So they're pretty young. But apparently their life at home isn't very good, I remember one time the first two stayed too late, and their dad came and he was really mad. I mean we don't want them to get abused or something.

And a police officer doesn't even clean up after his dog? Dx Be careful where you step!

I cant even walk my dog without stepping in any, and the reason it says to clean up, is because children play out there

Do your parents realize that these kids can get into the house when no one is home? Do they realize what this means?

You should really sit down with them and explain everything that's going on and why it bothers you... If these kids can hurt your pets, they may also have the ability to hurt you and your family, so don't wait. :(

That's aweful! They could go to juvie for that, and it'd serve 'em right if they're breaking and entering.

Wow, you make my neigbours sound nice..! Maybe if you made youbrother see sense, changed the combination or whatever and just locked them out for a few weeks they'd leave you alone..

The guy nexdoor always brings his mates around and gets drunk at like 11PM, making a lot of noise in the process >:C This year they let off all their new year fireworks not on New Years Eve, but the next morning.

Just new years morning? Oh my neighbours do it every week
And that is terrible, just tell them to go away... But if they don't tell your parents to stop them, or tell their parents.

That's horrible! Kids in this generation just irk me sometimes.
Yeah I'm one of them but I'm not like that
What happened when you found them inside while you were gone? I mean that's breaking and entering pretty much. Now I'm not very educated in judicial stuff but can't people press charges for stuff like that?

My neighbors? Hmmm, well I don't let them inside because their what...7? These neighborhood kids, 6 or 7 or so, have no respect for property. They go on my families yard and driveway and just run across it. And not even just mine. Once I had a pogo stick in my yard and I glanced out my window and caught on of them riding past it, going back and picking it up to use. I ran out and chased him :D
