Gale looked over his shoulder at Andrea, seeing her with another pokemon in his posession. He sighed, turning back around to pick up his own partner. Was it wrong waiting? Waiting to catch pokemon, rather than stocking up now? Perhaps, but Gale knew that when the right pokemon came along, there was nothing stopping him. "Andrea, are you ready to head out of here yet? Make our way to the town?" he asked, walking away slowly, glancing behind him. Cyndaquil nodded, smiling happily as he was raring to get out of here and to the town. {Most likely for food...}

Andrea sighed, she wasn't ready as she looked at her Chikorita. "I hate to hold you up, but me and Chi should really train, especially since the gym leader is a flying type expert, making a disadvantage to us. I also would like to come around and train my Eevee." Andrea replied, pulling out her Eevee's Pokeball and smiling. She tossed it in the air as a white light flew out, revealing her Eevee, who looked eager to battle a wild Pokemon, so did Chikorita.

She glanced around the area and heard a rustle in some bushes and heard a Pokemon's cry "Pidgey!" (I don know what Pidgey's say XD) and pointed at the bushes. "Breeze use Tackle on that bush!" Andrea said quickly to her Pokemon, seeing it race at the bushes and ramming into it. She heard a cry as it died out, knowing the Pokemon had fainted instantly. Wow, there aren't that strong Pokemon around here, maybe a different area is best? Andrea thought, looking at a pathway ahead of her. She then looked at her Pokedex to see what Pokemon live around this area. "Lets see; Pidget, Rattata, Spearow, Marril, Psyduck and Sentret." Andrea frowned, seeing these weren't very strong Pokemon. She looked at the next areas Pokemon "Pideotto, Golduck, Butterfree and Fearow, that's more like it!" Andrea smiled, stashing away her Pokedex.

"Come on Chi, Breeze! We got to go to the next area and train hard in order to beat Falkner!" Andrea said excitedly, bolting off along the path, her Pokemon quickly following her. Andrea was raring to go and train with her Pokemon, maybe even level up her newly caught Marril! She felt the breeze flow through her hair and smiled.

Gale bit his lip, his head hanging down in defeat. "Fineeeee......" he grumbled, stomping off after Andrea. He walked over, absentmindedly just looking around. "Maybe we just are boring Cyn." Gale laughed, and Cyndaquil cocked his head. "What?" Gale asked his pokemon, walking to sit underneath the shade of a tree to watch Andrea train. "I think we are good for Falkner? Flying type, pfft... They have low levels too. Later we will train.." he said, more to himself, and Cyndaquil just looked back with a blank expression. Cyn growled, watching the pokemon around him. "You want to battle Cyn..." Gale conquered, and Cyn nodded.

Gale, sighing in defeat, stood back up and looked around. "Fine, if that is what you want. You pick.." Cyn scowled, his plan backfireing. The little pokemon hobbled around, nosing for anything interesting. Twigs, plants, dirt, bugs, Fearow... Cyndaquil's eyes widened, backing away slowly as the bird pokemon screeched in his face, causing him to fall backwards. Cyn growled, flaring up his fire, challenging the Fearow.

The Fearow cawed loudly, spreading its wings as it rushed foreward. Cyn had no time to run; he was hit square in the chest with a Peck attack. Flying backwards. he landed on all fours, panting. "Cyndaquil, use Smog." Gale ordered, and Cyn obayed; sending the area into a dark fog. Fearow flapped its wings, scattering the fog away, but was suprised when it did not see its opponent there. Gale smirked. "Cyn, jump up and use Ember!" he said. Cyndaquil snickered, jumping upward onto Fearow's legs. He let loose a ball of fire in the pokemon's face. Fearow fainted instantly, falling to the ground. Cyn jumped off, smiling widely.

Andrea watched Cyndaquil and gritted her teeth with a stern look on her face, she needed to train before Gale gets ahead of her and beats Falkner first. She then grabbed Marill's pokeball and threw it up into the air, the pokeball opening and a white light streaming out onto the ground, then disappearing to reveal her Marill. She caught the empty pokeball and looked at her team so far; Chikorita, Eevee and Marill. She then smiled and cheered out to her pokemon "Its time for some training so we can beat gym leader Falkner!"

Chikorita and Eevee cried out happily, jumping some, but Marill didn't like this plan and her tail drooped. Marill's expression was being quite upset that she was going to train and battle, when Marill didn't really like this. Chikorita and Eevee were silent, staring at the water mouse pokemon and its expression. Marill stared at them and just looked at her feet while Chikorita and Eevee cocked there heads with a confused cry.

Andrea looked at Marill and blinked. "Marill, don't you want to become stronger so you can evolve into a Azumarill?" Andrea asked, cocking her head a little. Marill just cried out silently and walked off slowly. Andrea sighed and looked at Chikorita and Eevee. "You guys wanna train right?" Andrea asked, to make sure they weren't with Marill's idea of no training. Both pokemon nodded happily and Andrea smiled again.

Marill kicked a stone as it hit some water and skipped a little. She sighed and looked around, sitting down and looking at the reflection below her. Marill's ears then twitched some and she looked up, hearing a pokemon nearby. Mar, marill mar? Marill's head cocked to the side some and then her eyes widened in fear when she saw a Pideotto aiming at her and swooping down. Marill quickly jumped to the side before the Pideotto could reach her and cried out loudly. Marill!

Andrea heard her Marill cry and nodded to her pokemon, racing in the direction where she heard her pokemon cry out. She then saw a flash of blue and found her pokemon, seeing it was being attacked by a Pidgeotto, which was probably a level ten pokemon. Andrea gritted her teeth and stared at her Marill, which was trembling in fear from being attacked so suddenly. "Marill, use Defense Curl!" Andrea yelled to her pokemon quickly.

Marill immediately obeyed and curled, to raise her defense stat, since Pidgeotto have strong attack stats.The Pidgetto then hit the Marill with gust and Andrea frowned a little. "Now use Tail Whip followed by a Tackle!" Andrea called her water mouse pokemon, seeing it leap in the air and slapping its tail in Pidgeotto's face, following up by a ramming in the center of it. The Pidgeotto gasped and then shook it off. Andrea then took the chance to attack once more and finish it off "Marill use Tackle once more!" she yelled to her pokemon, seeing it yet again launch itself in the air and ramming in the same spot on the Pidgeotto, before landing on the ground and seeing the Pidgeotto fall in front the Marill. Andrea smiled, seeing it had fainted and looked at Marill. "You've become stronger from battling that pokemon, see how fun it is?" Andrea said, picking up her pokemon. Marill smiled and nodded happily.

Gale furrowed his eyerows when he noticed Andrea and her pokemon had suddenly dissapeared. Minutes passed..seeming like hours. Just when he was starting to get worried he heard them in the distance. Everything seemed okay, anyway, to him, so Gale just shrugged it off and returned to his pokemon.

Cyndaquil had been teetering around the area, and he had found a gold mind. A gigantic berry bush! Cyndaquil squeeled happily, literally diving inside. He grabbed at the berries, shoving them into his mouth eagerly. It was all fun until he heard his trainer. "Cyn! You had better get back here!" Gale called. Cyn's eyes widened, ravenously sticking the rest of the food in his mouth. He didnt have time to get it all, Gale had pulled some brances aside and was peering down at him with an annoyed expression.

Gale cocked an eyebrow, tapping his fingers annoyingly aginst the bus. He looked down at his pokemon; hand halfway raised to his mouth, face covered in berry juice. All he did was sighed, picking Cyn up. "What will I ever do with you.." he muttered, gently wiping the mes off of his face as a mother would its child. Cyndaquil looked up happily, acting all innocent. "Lets just go train some more." Gale smiled.

As they walked back, all seemed quiet. Gale didnt even notic the girl watching from the treeline, until she appeared infront of him. Gale jumped back, startled, and Cyn just blinked absentmindedly. "Hey." the girl said simply,bobbing up and down on the balls of her feet. Gale took the sight in; his age, same height, long blond hair that fell down to her mid- back, dressed in white shorts and a simple back tank. "H..he..Hi.." Gale stuttered, not really knowing what to think. "That is such a cute Cyndaquil you have there. Strong too. No doubt you will b going after this?" she asked.

Gale looked in awe as she flashed him a gym badge. From Falkner. "I am sure you will beat Falkner.. See you around, I am sure." the girl sid devilishly, sidestepping around him. Her smirk was quickly replaced by a devilish grin. Her haid raised to her ear. "Kora here. We have found one.. A Cyndaquil. I noticed a Chikorita as well. Just think, with my Todadile [sp.] plus those two. Think of what Team Rocket could do with our new weapon.." she said into her microphone when she had made a good distance. A quick reply was given. "Dont worry Giovanni...I will watch them.."

Gale looked dumbfounded, just walking back to train. He set Cyn down, and began to battle some more as if nothing had happened.

Andrea set Marill down and nodded, seeing Marill was finally okay with battling pokemon instead of being frightened. Andrea started walking back from the way she came and saw Gale, looking quite stunned. Andrea looked quite puzzled, into what Gale was staring at, there was noting or no one there that was so interesting. Maybe I should give him a scare... Andrea thought and chuckled silently.

She sneaked behind a tree Gale was stood in front of and climbed up it silently. Andrea was always good at climbing trees, from all that exploring from when she was young and now. She climbed to a branch above Gale and snickered very silently. She held down her skirt, feeling confident and swung upside down in front of Gale, about 4 feet away from him. "Hi there!" Andrea said.

Gale jumped back slightly, but didnt look that startled. "Oh, hey Andrea." he said distantly, flashing a quick smile. Completely forgetting that unusual girl from earlier. "What are you doing?" he asked curiously, tilting his head slightly in amusement. "I thought you were going to train some more, so we could head along and take on Falkner? Cant train like that." he chuckled, and Cyn squeeked happily below him. Cyndaquil walked around Gale's feet, staring up to Andrea with a wide smile. The little guy was eager to get on and battle this Falkner. See more pokemon, meet friends. He hoped Gale would catch some soon. "Come on Andrea." Gale bekoned, motioning with his hand as he walked along. A few more battles and he was done here.
