I don't think I'm ever going to be able to make a cake in Minecraft. I have no patience to follow a chicken around forever. There are tons around my house and in the forest, but I just don't feel like following them around.
I should box one in sometime and then just let it sit until it lays an egg, or something like that.
And thenI have to find wheat.
Which I have no clue how to grow |D

For wheat you need seeds that you get when you destroy the long grass that grows on the meadows [or whatever that biome is called in english].
You know what I mean, I guess xD
You just collect them and plant them on a dirt block you previously used a hoe on.
Then wait. Oh, and you'll have to make sure there's water next to the block you grow it on.^^
