Appearance: She has a dark blood bay coat with black tresses. Her tail is left as is or sometimes with a single thin braid down the center. Her skin is lighter with a slight tan. She has a light draft build but is quick and agile. Her hair reaches to the middle of her human back and two braids that connect in the back of her head come from either side to keep her bangs out of her face. Her brown eyes are quick to notice minuscule details. Her body is toned from being a warrior. She has black feathering around her feet starting about halfway up her cannon bones. She has a band of forest green cloth around her chest. She wears a small blue tear drop pendant on a leather throng choker. The pendant rests in her suprasternal notch.
Can you fight?: Yes. She is equipped with a yew recurve bow. The quiver that is strapped to her human back holds maple arrows with black swan fletching. Her bow, which fits perfectly in her quiver, has intricate designs that show painstaking details which are also on her quiver. Strapped along her left side are an arming sword and a kite shield strapped to her right side. In battle she acquires armor but she always has her weapons with her.
Crush: For once I shall keep this. Open. Slightly interested but will not show it. She believes her duties to her tribe lie before herself
Other: The tribe is put before her. Always. Mai doesn’t think about herself. She doesn’t care how she looks as long as she can fight. She is tough and isn’t afraid, or at least that is how she always appears. When not protecting the tribe she is quiet and by herself. She hides it from everyone, but she loves to walk in the woods by herself and study the world around her. She could spend forever standing still in a small clearing or under the canopy of ancient trees and listen to the animals and plants. She loves to watch them and understand how they perceive their world. She sees beauty in everything but herself. When she thinks about herself she gets angry. It is the only time she lets that strong emotion show. She keeps her emotions to herself only expressing any when in the company of no one and when she is sure none is around to observe her. She is very reserved when with others. One of the things she enjoys is sitting by the waterfall letting her hand dangle in the ever moving clear liquid. Sometimes she’ll weave a lily into her hair.

"Rou" replied the black centaur, grinning at taking the proffered hand, momentarily stunned by the seductive female. It was hard not to be. She was.. beautiful, no other word to describe it. He wondered why he'd never noticed her before in the camp.

Calitha smiled. Ah, Rahjor. If she wanted to seduce Rou, she wouldn't mind. It would be fun to see the second-in-command centaur of the Wood Tribe to deal with a poison-witch, as she mentally labelled all healers. She felt relieved inside. She had been only a few steps away from becoming one of them. Thanks the Gods she had been so stubborn. She was no girl to deal with herbs, plants and teas.

"I've, er, not seen you in camp before" he said haltingly, forgetting about Calitha for a moment.

Calitha's smile became wider. Let's leave them on their own, she muttered to herself. She blinked at the pair joyfully.
''I'm on the go; see you around!'' she almost laughed, galloping along the lake's margins. The Waterfalls, the sacred place of all Tribes, was roaring in front to her. Calitha felt its soft mists spraying over her hair and face and giggled, delighted. She was on a great mood. She slowed down slightly, appreciating the forest's early spring. The birds chirped so loud she almost felt the urge to cover her ears; the rustling of rivers and creeks came from everywhere, mixed with the rustling of the leaves and other centaur voices. She was getting closer to the tribe's territory.

"Wake up Wood Tribe!"

Ah, surely Layla... The young leader she admired so much. But Calitha always had the habit of getting up with the sun's rise. It was a routine she had inherited from her father. She trotted down the fresh and dewy hill towards the Tribe Leader, making a barely noticeable bow, a rare gesture on her. ''Lady Layla!'' she called out loudly, waking up another bunch of lazy centaurs. ''I'm--''

She was cut off by the necklace dangling on the leader's chest. She had a long look at the pendant; it was beautiful, but she did not focus on what it represented. She tried to figure out who had made it. The distinctive carving style also present on the Mountain Tribe's weapons. And the noble materials and perfect shapes: experienced hands, and expensive and long work. Possibly a leader's necklace. Calitha was breathless.

''Lady Layla...'' she softly pointed to the pendant, cautiously keeping her voice tone low and calm. ''I wonder whether it was a wise decision... to accept that gift.''

When she said out those words she immediately regretted them. Hadn't Layla always known the best for the Wood Tribe? She must had have some reason for it, and who was Calitha to contest it? She blushed.

((Well, Rahjor and Rou were talking. Calitha left them.
Layla, the Wood Tribe leader, was speaking with Carodye, the Mountain leader. He offered her a necklace. Layla then went back to her Tribe, then Calitha met her. She asked her about the necklace. The rest has been mostly OOC.))

Layla looked up. "Ah, yes Calitha, what is it?" She called from afar. Her voice in the same melodic note. "Is all okay?" She chuckled. Layla fumbled with the arm stockings she wore, trying to make them as perfectly straight as possible. The teal stitching and embroidery on the design matched her hair perfectly. Her tail swished and she looked back on it, pursing her lips. I wonder... Maybe if I braided that single black strand... She thought before refocusing herself on Calitha.

Layla opened her mouth to speak but shut it. A small smile slowly edged along her face. "Why, that I am not sure. I found it and tried to return it but Caro... I mean Carodye insisted that I keep it." She looked down on it, she was never one to gossip but she was still young. Layla looked up, her eyes glistening. "He's amazing. I was patroling the boarders and the wind took a change, before I could leave he was there--He and one of his healers. We agreed that we meant no harm and he said he wanted peace between the tribes and he..." She trailed, "He's amazing Calitha! He made my heart soar and for once since the war and Father's death... I laughed. And, he kissed me." She said. Knowing her mistake fully now she frowned. "Yes, I know it was foolish of me, but he said he would not harm us. If he does though I will fight back."
