Moonshade tipped her head to the side. She didn't know where Spiderfrost was going with this... "Needed to say? What do you mean-" she blinked in confusion and said, "What was he supposed to say?"

The testy medicine cat tsk-ed.

"Does that lazy fur-ball expect me to say it or something?" she grunted in annoyance, her icy eyes turned to Moonshade. For a moment they awkwardly shifted and she seemed to hesitate at what she wanted to say, which was strange seeing how the she-cat never seemed to have trouble speaking her mind on a normal bases.

"Look...I will only say this once, so don't expect to hear something like this come from me again but...As a medicine cat I will be on your side as you carry out you duties as not only a deputy, but as leader when the time comes." Spiderfrost shook her self as if saying something so sweet gave her heartburn. She looked away as if wanting to crawl under a rock as she continued.

"That fur-ball Secretgrudge thinks you have potential too...ok thats it I'm going to scratch his eyes out for making me say something he was suppose to!" the medicine cat roared.

Moonshade blinked, dark eyes widening. She looked down, smiling a little. She blushed and mumbled in slight amusement, "Ah, he mentioned his part...I just needed to hear you saying it first so I knew what you were talking about." She looked up, eyes shining with intelligence and almost happiness. "Spiderfrost? Do you really mean that?" she asked softly.

Spiderfrost glared at Moonshade, her pelt hot in embarrassment.

"I told you I'm never saying it again." she she-cat ground out. The medicine cat was unusually skittish now, her pelt fluffed up and her body tense.

"If you already knew then don't cause me trouble."

Moonshade just flicked one ear, knowing the answer. This was already making her feel better. "Thank you," she mumbled; not needing Spiderfrost to answer directly. She sighed and sat back down. The young deputy started to groom her fur.

Spiderfrost huffed as she finally simmered down and went to look for Secretgrudge.

{ Back! oooh! Romance that I didn't expect xP Sorry, visiting my brother and sister. She's pregnant and we wantecd to see them just in case they couldn't make it on my birthday. Day 5 since my brother came back!! He's in the army!!! O.o Acually I have 4 of 5 brothers in the army, but Josh was still over seas and he just came home. So yay!! I'll post in a little bit. }
