Every since you were little you had an obsession with fire. Like the very first caveman to discover it. Your eyes light up with excitement and pleasure every time you see that flickering blue and golden light. But now, you've discovered something horrible.

17 years ago, on April 17th, you were cursed. You were cursed to burn anything and everything you touch starting on your 17th birthday. You can never touch anything ever again. You're parents have to dress you, feed you, do everything for you. You can't risk burning your house to the ground. You're not even allowed to hold hands or hug or kiss your boyfriend/girlfriend.

None of you know how long it will last. And just when things are getting worse, you receive a letter in the mail, indicating you are to go to a secret, secluded island in the middle of nowhere. You do as your told, having no clue you are about to become a lab rat to find the cure. Although it may seem like paradise, you are tested on constantly in your sleep. You are included as 10 teens. Five girls and five boys. If you wish, you can stop the tests and get off the island. But only with help. After all, you are not allowed to leave. Which ones will be cured and which ones will be driven insane?

JJ has a very lithe body with slight muscles on his arms and a very toned torso. His skin is a tiny bit tanner than most skin colors of a Caucasian. His eyes are round with an a slight almond shape taking to them. JJ's eyes are the color of the sky at its finest blue. His lips are plump enough for a great kiss and a bit paler than the average colors of lips. He usually wears a goofy grin upon his face.

He has dark auburn hair that is as smooth as silk. At most times.Other than that, he usually has an adorable case of bed head when he leaves it natural. Which is most of the time. Upon his face rest glasses. Though he rarely wears them, feeling self-conscious and stupid. He usually wears contacts. He usually wears graphic t-shirts and skinny jeans with his black high top boots. Sometimes, he'll throw on his black trench coat but that's only when it's cold. His colors don't usually vary. [ f u n n y ]JJ can be very humorous when working and doing anything else. He loves to make people laugh and will do anything to do so. He loves cheering people up but sometimes his humor can go a bit far and make things worse. JJ has many tricks and jokes up his sleeve so watch out.

Sophia is a fairly average height girl, standing at around 5'4", not that she checks often. She weighs about 100lbs, but she couldn't really care less about her weight. She keeps active, and stays healthy, so her skin looks great and she always has a very vibrant energy about her. Her hair is naturally a light honey blonde, and she sometimes curls it or leaves it loose. She doesn't really bother with make-up most of the time, preferring a more natural look.

She dresses casually most of the time, with t-shirts, jeans, and denim shorts cluttering up her wardrobe. She likes to wear blue, which compliments her baby-blue/aquamarine eyes. Her lips are full, but not to the point where they look fake, and they are apparently perfectly "kissable". She has quite a curvy build, but not so that you'd notice unless you looked hard, and she is quite skinny, with her weight being mainly muscle.

She leaves her hair scruffy sometimes, or ties it back messily. People say she looks cute when she does this, but she thinks she just looks late! Although she loves her bed-head look, she hates it when her fringe gets in her eyes. She is always seen wearing some sort of hair-band around her right wrist to tie it back with - mainly out of habit! She sometimes dyes the underside of her hair brown, but other than that it is 100% natural.

Her hair is a light honey-blonde, which she usually leaves it's natural colour. It is normally straight, or sometimes slightly wavy, depending on if it has been plaited recently. She doesn't bother much with having perfect hair, although she does believe in washing it! It is touchable and soft, and most people, male or female, seem to have a strange fascination with her shoulder-blade-length locks.

Her eyes are a light aquamarine blue colour, and are very aware.

;Clothing Style;
Scruffy and casual are the two words you could use to describe her wardrobe. It is a little odd, and she often wears shorts with hoodies, or other strange combinations that make her seem like she is confused about the weather. She doesn't like heels, and finds she has a strange liking for boy's shoes and clothes. She is often found wearing over-sized, holey tees, and ripped jeans. She likes black skinny jeans, and hates white.

Sophia is a very bubbly person. She has a great sense of style and creativity, and is very easy to like. She is very considerate and always tries to help others. However, she is very clumsy on the ground, and she cannot cook to save her life (as her parents found out pretty quickly!). She is very excitable, and loves to party. She hates the idea of boring and forgives easily.
She is friends with almost everybody, and is practically unable to hold a grudge. She forgives very easily, but rarely forgets. Despite being clumsy and often falling over, she is an amazing performer and actress, and she knows how to make an entrance! She is very cuddly, and loves the idea of love, often dreaming of finding her soul mate. She is actually very smart, although she doesn’t like to appear too bookish so she normally hides it. She can be a little bit of an airhead and is easily confused, so often you would catch her shrugging and moving on.
She is quick to trust, and never suspects anything. She can be annoyingly happy-go-lucky, and she often rushes through life. Overall she is a very optimistic, glass-half-full kind of girl.

I love dogs, and all things fluffy and cute! I also like chocolate, but only if it's dark or milk. Of course, I love lemonade - who doesn't? And I have to say I have a strange fascination with swimming. Oh, and water, being around people, and just life in general!

There aren't many things really. Spicy food, goat's cheese, Brussels sprouts, and coffee without sugar and caffeine! I hate being alone, and I detest snakes. They're all slimy and creepy - they give me the shivers.
