Eaglesong looked back at Celsetail, then looked forwards again, "Yes, just a few more steps up a small hill and we'd be there, here," He said, running over to her, and picked up a Lynxkit by the scruff, and ran forwards a little, and did the same with the other kits, "Now, come on," He said encouragingly as he ran over to the tired kits and walked slowly, once they were over the tiny hill, he went over to the entrance, "Here we go, need any help?" He asked kindly, but staying near the entrance.

Lynxkit opened her mouth as if to mew in resistance, but yawned instead.

Celestial picked up Jaguarkit and scampered to catch up to Eaglesong. She shook her head, able to handle the others.

Eaglesong nodded, "OKay then, follow me," He said, turning to go inside the entrance of the camp. This was it. he thought.

Celestial followed Eaglesong into the camp, on the way a tall tom walked passed them. Leopardkit knocked into the cat unaware, she looked up.

"Sorry." she murmured tiredly. The cat looked down at her awkwardly then hurriedly stalked off. Celestial watched the exchange and pushed Leopardkit in front of her. She then set Jaguarkit down to walk by himself.

Sagepaw nodded, "Yes, but I can still train for a while," She said, hoping Silverstar wasn't upset. She knew she was shocked though. Apprentices weren't allowed to have kits, even though she was 20 moons, she was an apprentice.

Owlscrape looked at her, "What do you want to do? Hunting? Patrol around perimeter?" He asked kindly, swiping his tail gently over her back.

Silverstar blinked and shook her head. "As long as you can train as much as you can during your short time that you have." she mewed slowly. She was fine with Sagepaw expecting, she was the age of a warrior. But it would be pretty weird to have a cat with an apprentice's name in the nursery.

Angelsong's tail tip twitched back and forth as she continued to purr. "What ever you want to do is fine with me." she mewed and licked his cheek.

Moonshade turned just as Sagepaw had started to speak. She gave no indication she'd heard anything the white she-cat had just said; but she did. Kits?! Sage is expecting! The thought warmed her heart, but at the same time it made the newly appointed deputy a little confused. She trotted out of camp, hardly glancing at her staring clanmates as she passed. There was one pair of warriors that seriously got under the dark grey tabby's fur though; Angelsong and Owlscrape.
They both looked extremely mischievous and were flirting excessively. Moonshade knew ANgelsong was quite attractive but she didn't know the other warrior was interested in her like that. And all of a sudden too. She noticed they were keeping to the shadows and Moonshade seriously wondered if they were doing more than acting in love like that. Something strange was going on and she didn't like it, but she gave nothing away and kept her beautiful indigo gaze locked ahead.
Once a good way into the forest, the young deputy slowed her pace to a casual walk and she curled her tail around and up and down as she walked silently; looking up brightly and smiling slightly as she stared at the sights of the green woods. She had a kind of dreamy, zoned-out and happy-sad expression on her face that seemed to make her appear like she was completely oblivious to the world around her. She padded along, slowly, and took in a few deep breaths. She still couldn't believe she was deputy. Sure, other more experienced warriors that had been chosen in the past would act respectful or happy, and just take on the role right away. But they hadn't considered the fact that they would be leader of their clan in the future if they lived that long.
Leader. I might be leader one day. The though really scared Moonshade. Was she ready for all this? Was Silverstar actually truthful when she said she had complete faith in her or was it just because she had only spoken to her moments before the ceremony? She swallowed, looking down and stopped at the shore by the river. She sat down slowly, and curled her soft, dark tail around her paws neatly. Her gorgeous pelt was smoothed down and clean and the silver undercoat shone in the sunlight as it beamed down on the she-cat.
It was a strange sight, for you could only see the silver in direct light; Moonshade's extremely dark grey tabby pelt hid it almost entirely and it made it look like nearly black charcoal sparkling in the sunlight.
She sighed slowly, staring at her reflection intelligently; lost in thought by the water's edge.

Secretgrudge had passed Eaglesong and an unfamiliar she-cat and her kits some time after Moonshade left. Looks like they might have even more cats joining soon. The she-cat didn't look untrained, her eyes were focused on whatever task she had and despite her uneasy twitching she held herself like a warrior. There was an 'oomph' and a small figure bumped into him. The tom looked down to a small kit with a pale fiery pelt and wild black markings. The she-cat apologized and scampered over to the new arrival.

Secretgrudge didn't have an problems with kits...but they scared the warrior right out of him. He walked out into the forest as he thought. Kits were small...he was big, kits were weak...he could break every bone in their body. They were so fragile it scared him that one wrong move and he would make a mistake with them. The tom looked up to try and distract himself with hunting prey when he saw his new deputy sitting by the river. He blinked, it looked like she was struggling with something as well. Secretgrudge walked up behind the she-cat.

"Moonshade." his deep voice called out as the deputy sat there in a daze.

Moonshade flicked one ear and blinked at her reflection. Her dark eyes were troubled but after a few seconds they returned to their kind, yet emotionless nature. She then turned around to face Secretgrudge. She smiled a little, but not to the extent of looking exactly 'happy'. "Hello, Secretgrudge," the beautiful tabby meowed quietly. She stared at him for a moment or two and tipped her gentle face to the side. "You look.... troubled. You ok?" she asked him gently.

The tom shook his head in reassurance.

"You look more troubled...not happy about the new responsiblity?" he asked as he padded up beside her to take a drink from the water they sat by. Fear of kits was a much less pressing matter...plus he wouldn't dare mention something as personal as that to a cat he barely talked to.

Moonshade just stared at Secretgrudge as she sat down once more, facing him. Her dark, shattered eyes were a little suprised at his comment. She swallowed. "No...No I-" she stuttered, feeling flustered. "I'm very happy! It's just.... it happened so fast for me... you know?" she mewed quietly. She blinked, blushing at her last sentence and looked down at her paws at once. Of course he doesn't know! He isn't deputy! she scolded herself silently.
