Born To Be A Winner; Pokemon RP (1x1 with Swiftalu)

Gale cocked an eyebrow upward as he watched her sprint ahead, shaking his head but following. He didnt need to run to keep up. Cyndaquil squirmed in his arms, squeeking frantically as he tried to get awat. Gale grmbled, reluctantly letting him go, but couldnt help but chuckle as Cyn sprinted beside Chikorita.

Cyndaquil smiled happily, apparantly very refreshed from the earlier battle. The fire pokemon scrambled into a lage pile of grass, nose twitching as he tried to search for more berries. Or pokemon...but mainly berries. Gale soon caught up and walked along the others, he too scanning for his next target, and hopefully pokemon.

Andrea looked around, near a place with some water that water Pokemon loved to be in. She hoped to find a Pokemon she wanted here, probably won't though. She smiled, seeing many other water type Pokemon, but not the one she wanted; a Marril. She stepped in the sticky ground and looked around, walking slowly. She couldn't see any but it was worth a shot, in order to beat Gale's Cyndaquil or any other fire type Pokemon.

She sighed, not seeing any and sat on a quite damp log, her Chikorita sitting next to her. "Guess I can't expect fast eh Chi?" Andrea joked a little, looking at her Chikorita. Chikorita nodded sadly, looking down at the marshy ground. Andrea could only see Poliwag or Psyduck around here. It was too bad she couldn't find the Pokemon she wanted around here, maybe it was somewhere else? Well, there was other Pokemon. Andrea leaned back, only to fall in the mud and muttered a bit, getting up and trying to brush off the goop, her Chikorita using its vines to help.

Gale looked over his shoulder, shooting Andrea a glance as he tried to avoid bursting out into laughter. He coughed to cover up his snickering, brushing a hand through his hair as he looked around. Trying to find a worthy pokemon. Not many strong ones hung around here; just some low levels like Pidey, Sentret, Rattata, and Hoothoot.

Cyndaquil was content to scramble through the grass, sniffing around at whatever caught his little attention span. Which, as one could probably deduce from now, didnt take much to grab his attention. Cyn..Cynda? he stuttered, cocking his head as something fluffy brushed his leg. Curious as always, Cyn wrapped his hands around it and gave a tug. Rattata! squeeked from the bushes, jumping out and clawing at Cyn's face. Cyndaquil!, Cyn screamed, scrambling away to Gale's side.

"What the.." Gale muttered, looking over to see an angry looking Rattata chasing his partner around. "Cyndaquil! Dont just run away..." he sighed in dissapointment, guesturing his pokemon out there. "Go on..." Cyndaquil looked up, face locked on his new opponents, walking foreward with his back blazing. "Cyn, show him what you got. Ember.." Gale said smoothly, and Cyndaquil followed up easily, burning the little pokemon to a crisp. Gale nodded, and Cyn looked pretty proud of himself.

Chikorita sniffed around, to find some more water type Pokemon, but not Marril. Andrea checked on her Pokedex for Marril's location, showing it was around here. Andrea sighed and looked at her Chikorita, whom was busy struggling to get it leaf away from a Psyduck. Andrea chuckled silently, then looked up to see her Chikorita growl at her, then throwing a Razor Leaf at her.

"Eeep!" Andrea said, ducking as the Razor Leaf slid over her head and hit a tree. She then heard a cry from a wild Pokemon in the tree and her gaze flickered back to it, her Chikorita also was curious. "Marril!" a Marril cried, falling out of the tree and face first into the mud. Andrea burst out laughing and fell backwards, falling in the mud again and grumbled. Her Chikorita brushed off the mud again with its vines and Andrea looked at the Marril and grinned. "You ready Chi?" Andrea asked her Chrikorita.

Chikorita instantly nodded and then ran in front of the Marril, using its vines to get it out of the mud and then dropping it. Chikorita growled, ready to battle and withdrew its vines, waiting for Andrea to call a move and strike at the water mouse Pokemon.

Gale looked over his shoulder to Andrea. She seemed to be finding everything she had wanted around here. Not he. Gale found nothing of interest here besides pokemon to level up Cyndaquil. Nothing he wanted to catch. Gale turned to watch Chikorita battle again, trying to learn more about it and Andrea. Cyndaquil nosed around the area, ocasionally calling out when a pokemon was around. When one was, Gale would turn his attention back long enough to have Cyn beat it. Mostly low level Rattatas. Two of those and one Pidgey soon fled as they were defeated, and Cyn grew stronger.

Andrea watched the Marril get up, a little shocked for a battle but shakily stood its ground. Andrea smiled and then looked at her Chikorita. "Chi! us Razor Leaf!" Andrea called to her green Pokemon. Chikorita nodded and flipped around the sweet scented leaf on the top of her head, sending out a few leaves the fired at the Marril.

Marril cried out, being hit by both Razor Leaves and tumbled backwards. Marril ended up hitting another tree and Chikorita watched with that face. Andrea just watched as well and shook her head. "Chi use Tackle!" Andrea called to her Pokemon again. Chikorita then sprinted and rammed into the Marril while it was still stunned.

Gale nodded his head in approval, smiling a bit to himself as he turned away, once again suprisingly impressed by both Andrea and her pokemon. Though his battle with her ended in a tie, she was surely a tough opponent. They both were, it seemed, evenly matched. Gale was still not interested in catching any of these pokemon quite yet, battling them was just fine enough with him for now. "Come on Cyndaquil, lets walk around while we wait for them." Gale sighed to himself, walking on a bit on Route 29. Cyndaquil eagerly followed, bouncing around on the balls of his feet excitedly. "You grew a bit, huh bud?" Gale asked, still searching for pokemon or trainers around whilst he waited for Andrea. "Got to level up some more if we want to beat Falkner." he said, eagerness in his voice. Cyn, Cynda.., Cyndaquil repeated, balling his hands into a tiny fist and pouding it upward. "Thats the spirit bud..."

{Just sittin around.. XD Gale has nothing to do yet! Not yet....soon..some action!}

"Chi use Poisonpowder!" Andrea yelled to her Pokemon. This Marril wasn't putting up much of a fight, which disappointed her, but a Pokemon was a Pokemon and she wanted to catch it. She watched as her Chikorita fired a flurry or purple spores at the Marril, the Marril being hit by most of them which poisoned the water mouse Pokemon. She watched as the Marril fell to the ground very weakly.

Andrea smiled and snatched a Pokeball from her bag and aimed it at the Marril that was siting on the ground. She gave a spin off on her Pokeball and watched it hit the Marril on the forehead, the Pokeball opening and sucking the Marril in with a red light. It then fell to the ground and wobbled around with a flashing light on the center. Andrea watched the Pokeball carefully and Chikorita watched as well.

{I dun know what to post... Gale is being a derp and just walking around. Apparantly my muse has a funny sense of humor and has left...}

The red light on the Pokeball stopped blinking and the shivering Pokeball came to a stop. Andrea reached for it and grasped it in her hands. She smiled and then let out the water mouse Pokemon, who looked around frantically. It then hugged Andrea's leg and cried out. Andrea smiled and picked up the Pokemon and cradled it in her arms. "Don't worry little one, your safe now" Andrea said, soothing the Marril. She then returned the Marril to its Pokeball, the red light streaming and sucking it in.

Andrea put her Pokeball away and looked at Gale, seeing he was training. Probably a good idea for her to train too. She then looked at her Chikorita who looked rared for a battle and smiled. She let the Chikorita off and looked around for some wild Pokemon to train against.
