Carodye:
He had to admit that he was very impressed with this young leader of Wood tribe. She had come, alone, and had almost crossed into his territory. He looked at the necklace wondering if it could be the key to maybe bring the tribes together.
"Yes, I did take the rank quite early."
Carodye nodded understanding completely how it felt and he could hear the sorrow in her voice he reached out to touch her shoulder softly, "I can sense what we have both lost haunts our souls, but in time, it will only make us stronger Layla." he said smoothly her name always making him shiver inside for some reason unknown to him.
"It is so hard to imagine. Here my father putting in horrid visions of the Mountain tribe and me, trying not to believe him... The images were still put in my mind. I was expecting your kind to be like another species, violent, but your not. You seem the opposite."
Caro nodded to her, "As I was expecting a fight, but not from my fathers visions, but through my own young Layla. I know of your kind on much more of a personal level." he said shaking his head trying to forget the visions that the wood tribe had inflicted onto his own tribe. Rowan trantically trying to cure, many of the times not having quite enough time. "I was expecting you to be a distraction, and for myself to be dead on the forest ground at the moment." he said with a light hearted chuckle. "But, once again, your kind has suprised me in a new and much more improved way." he said to her smiling now. He liked her, she was down to Earth, and had been expecting the same from him as he was of her.
Carodye was still pondering over where he had seen the necklace when the young ventaur stepped towards him:
"Here you are." She said, "It was on your territory and well I believe such a thing would look stunning on a young, handsome stallion's neck such as yours."
Caro looked at where her hand had accidently touched his chest, warm and soft. Suddenly she backed up though and he saw the red flush upon her cheeks, "Well, as much as I do appreciate the compliment, it seems like a young female leader would find much more empowerment from it than I." he said to her as he looked at the necklace.
"I'm sorry, I did not realize I was on your land. If you want it, it's yours."
Caro stepped forward a few steps to where their chest were almost touching. He took the necklace from her hand softly and held the clasp open putting it around her neck and lifting her hair over it softly afterwards. He paused for a second taking in her sweet scent before taking a small step back and looking at the necklace, "Think of it as a peace offering, and a rememberance of our meeting, Layla." he said to her smiling wider now. "And because of our aquaintance of this, you have the right to refer to me as Caro, a shorter and more personal name that I do perfer over Carodye." he said to her.
