But Starpaw would definitely have nothing to do with it. When she heard that Moonshade was now deputy, Angelsong looked over at the she-cat and growled. Moonshade! Deputy?! I should be Deputy! Her tail lashed as she watched the dark warrior.

Sagepaw glanced around to see that Owlscrape was staring at her coldly. Shivers went down her spine as she went over to where she was sitting before. I wonder what my warrior name will be. She wondered.

You'll have to sit by yourself and watch as mothers and their loving mates raise their kits with such a happiness that you will never feel." she put on a fake sad face, still smirking a little, "Poor, Spiderfrost, cursed to be alone forever. I truly feel for you." she said with the best sad voice she could do at that moment.

Spiderfrost snorted, what did love have to do with anything, she didn't need a mate to make her feel like a she-cat. Love was an emotion she didn't bother with, she didn't need a distraction from her duties, or need to fall over her paws for a tom that could never live up to her standards.

Eaglesong was shocked, and looked at all of the kits, he took a small step back then replied, "That looks bad, I have a medicine cat in my clan, she could look at it," He said, leaning in his head to check the she-cat's chest, "If of course you are interested in joining, if not I will escort you a safe distance away from the border where you could hunt and raise your kits, but any of them entering our border and being caught could die 9 times out of ten. We have some mean cats in our clan, but doesn't everyone?" He said, still inspecting the mother's chest, making sure it wasn't infected, though he really couldn't tell.

You'll learn the hunters crouch. Also, yes, you will become a warrior, maybe even a higher rank if your lucky," He said in a somewhat sweet tone, "Shall I escort you to my camp? I don't think they would react very well if you just walked in with kits," He said in a humorious voice.
