I don't mean that they're not banned, but that if I join I won't be the only one. >_> The one I was in looked promising, but then I browsed through the other characters and every one was straight and a fair amount homophobic.
Fantasy-ish plot preferred, but I have a slightly-crazy character I want to stick in some sort of romance RP, so any type is fine. ^-^

Also, I have a insane little mindreader character stored away in my mind that I want to RP. Anyone have a powers RP where he could go?

Ooh, I'd like a fantasy roleplay that isn't full of straight characters as well.

Crazy characters would be welcome in the RP I have an idea for, but I don't want to like, create the RP and then no one joins. Here's the Plot:

The year is 2117 and raidioactive meteorites suddenly crash into the Earth. There is chaos. Explosions, fires, toxic gases...and worst of all, the radioactivity. This causes mutations in the people of the Earth. Now, everyone has super abilities and powers. Unfortunetly, anyone over the age of 25 could not survive the mutations, and perished. Two different clans rise up. They are always warring with each other and trying to take the other out. But an evil force arises from the old meteorites and overshadows the recovering Earth, threatening their existance. This forces the two clans to come together so that they can defeat this dark being, but with so many different ideals and opinions, not to mention the ever-growing anamosity (hate, anger, etc...) between the two clans, will they ever be able to work together to save the world? Or is the rest of humankind doomed?

Yeah, that's mah plot. Ideas/suggestions welcome. And if the people like it, then I will create this RP (believe me, I'm fast You won't have to wait long at all). :D So just let me know everyone. I want at least three pre-joined members before I begin making it. I'd hate to see it die off. So let me know pleases and thank yous!

I'd be cool with this. By powers I'm assuming you mean random mutations, and not actual "magic" sort of things, right?
Like, not element control or anything weird like that.

No, not really. If it's Elemental control, then it's not based on magic. Elemental control such as....maybe being able to synch with the earth or will plants to grow mentally or something. One idea I have is the power to "Mimic" or be able to copy any sound imaginable. Good for spies haha! Another I thought of would be called "Hammer" and they'd have inhumane strength. And of course, each power will have a weakness.

A role-play with normal mutations would definitely be cool! My rp {click on the flowers in my siggy to visit, if you will. Mind you, I said flowers, not sash, not face, not clock...} sort of derped in that, as I made the mistake of not creating specific enough rules regulating exactly what was allowed. Of course, since the mutations were purposefully inflicted, it worked out somewhat okay, and recently the characters have been stealing "files" from the government on them, so I snuck in some stuff that applied a sort of logical base for the 'skills' they gained.

For example, there are twins who once had an unusually strong understanding of how the people around them felt and a mild form of Synesthesia that associated color with facial expressions. When one of them was experimented on, her skills were enhanced as a side effect of the general enhancement of senses that all of the assassins received. While she had most of her vision clouded later, because this intensifying took the form of all emotions being visible as over-saturated color, rendering her pretty much blind either way, the skill does come in handy at times. Her brother remained untouched, and thus has been considered to have slight Synesthesia and strong empathy.
We're both aboard on an airship as it flies
And it's chasing for a star hiding from our eyes
And before all our feelings will subside
Let's escape past the air, the atmosphere

My eyes they looked into the night sky a bit too much
And then found light it turned into a painful touch
If this world will keep on spinning in the time ahead
You should go and find a reason to live on instead
Saying bye this afternoon is really too soon

I swear this isn't fair. >_> I get so many RP ideas when I'm so busy. But here's my latest:

It's a different universe, or some would like to believe that. Through apocalypse and calamity, earth is a crime-run world. Every nation is at war, but it's not like the wars before everything; there are no guns anymore. Gunpowder actually ran out years before. Swords and shields are suddenly popular again. Some technology remains from before, hoverboards and microwaves for example, but everything is unsteady and unsafe. Every country is craving soldiers.

You might have had a normal life once. Just maybe, but who knows. Doesn't matter anymore. Because you took the test, perhaps unwillingly even if you're in one of the countries in which it is required. A small test that involved a bit of your blood dropped onto a piece of paper. It was to test if you had the right kind of blood to be used for the genetic and cell experiments the governments uses to create super-soldiers of sorts, that are always unmatched by anyone else. The chance was one in several thousand. Your results were positive.
The price of having positive results is simple; you have to go through with the change, and fight for the country. You would be dragged of kicking and screaming if they had to. There was no escaping it. But the change only works on about 60% of the people tested. What happens to the ones who it didn't work? They were left worse then helpless, horribly weak and their limbs don't move like they should. For a few months after the test if it's really bad, they can't move at all.

You were in the group that managed to escape before the chips were placed in your arms that they could use to electrically shock you almost no matter how far away you would be from them, to death if they chose. Through a thankfully unlocked door and a lot of luck ten people, who the change was successful and who could not bear the idea of entering the war, escaped from where they were being held. Along the way, the stopped in the rooms were the unsuccessful were held, grabbing anyone they knew and running away with them.

You are about hundred miles away from civilization now, living with the other nine and the unsuccessfuls. It's been two weeks. Attacks from armies are growing frequent, and you are just learning to use your abilities. Meanwhile, you must protect those weak ones who were unsuccessful; positive results on the test are genetic, one of them could easily be a sibling.

Welcome to a world where the enemies just keep coming, and there is no escape. Just keep fighting, for yourself and for those you love, with no way to win. Perhaps you are seeking the dream of freedom, some are. But to most, the goal is not to escape from everything, it's to stay alive as long as possible, and that's it.

Well, that was a weird idea for me. Quite grim... >_> Would anyone be interested? There would be slots for both the runaways, the unsucessfuls, and the enemies. ^^

Isn't love so complicated?

Oh yes it is. You go through ebs and flows- moments of doubt and moments of passion. Sometimes you feel like you cannot survive without your other half, and sometimes you want to throttle them. Breakups, makeups, cheating, mixed communication... Not to mention your only a teenager- not even you can help with your raging hormones. And there is no exception in Pleasantville California, my dear. The summer before college, and love is definitely in the air. Decisions must be made, and whether you end up staying with your significent other if up to you. Will your boyfriend be the perfect match? Or just be another heartbreak?

I give credit to the user "∞ αи∂ в є у σ и ∂. " for the idea of "situations/scenarios" in the romance plot.

This sounds really awesome. I would totally join. Could we make characters that were successful experiments, however they did have the chip implanted and they had to fight?
