Sleetpaw was about to exit camp, crashing into a she-cat. He jumped up, trying to smile, "Rainpaw! I'm so sorry!" He squeaked, his silver fur shining softly. A small ear flicked and his eyes were on the beautiful she-cat. If he didn't know better, he would of pounced her and licked her all over. "How are you doing?"

Steampaw pranced out of the apprentices den. Seeing Rainpaw and Sleetpaw, he bounded over to them as bounced around, "Hiya!"

Rainpaw stumbled back from the sudden collision. Her vision clearing, she blinked up at Sleetpaw. She smiled faintly at his energetic attitude. "Oh! That's alright." She replied sweetly, licking a paw and drawing it across an ear. The rain splattered gently down on her pelt, streaking off of it like a duck's feathers. "I'm doing fine." She answered brightly, glancing to the stormy sky. She turned as Steampaw bounced over. "Hello, Steampaw!"

Sprucepaw shot out of the medicine cat's den as soon as she heard the yowl and the word "injured". She slid on the wet ground for a moment, then regained her balance and halted in front of Duststorm. She gasped quietly as she saw Foxpaw. She didn't bother to ask what was wrong yet, she knew he would need to get in the den quickly before she could treat him. "Into the den." She instructed, padding back to the medicine den quickly, glancing back to see if they were following.

Steampaw purred, "Hello, some storm huh? I haven't seen Foxpaw or Pinepaw return yet. And I've heard at least two trees fall," He said, his voice wondering off, but snapped right back in, "So how are you all? I love storms, and I secretly want to go to the river right now, but we aren't aloud," He said, looking at them, his grey fur plastered to his small body, though he had unusually long claws, and they were out, when they were in, and Shadepelt always told him to stop scratching her stomach.

Rainpaw smiled widely. "Mhhmm." She nodded, mumbling a rather incoherent reply, her ears pricked. She hoped everyone would get back to camp before the storm became worse. It was already quite wild. "Oh yes, I love storms!" She agreed, eyes shining. "Betcha couldn't have guessed." She purred, her tail tip swishing back and forth. She gave a quick wiggle, letting some of the water splash off her sleek gray fur. She imagined the river, swelling with rain, and almost wished she too could go and see. "Yes...that would be fun!"

Steampaw nodded, "I could tell, we're both ironically named after rain, or dew.." He said, thinking suspiciously, "Maybe we could leave, everyone is padding around in rain that we can hardly see through, we can sneak out to see the river! Maybe even have a little fun dodging falling trees, but don't get crushed," He said in a mischevious voice, with a hint of humor. He was already padding to the entrance to wait.

Sleetpaw watched them, then felt a small grin plant onto his silver fur. "How about we go together?" He asked, his sudden jumpy attitude gone and his mischievous side showing quite a lot. "I also love storms and the river always looks pretty in the rain!" The slick silver tom smiled, looking at the two. "Dang it, you stole the words from my mouth, Steampaw!"

Desertbloom simply stared at the water as the clouds rolled in. She never minded water. There were many days she would hunt in the rain, preferring moorland ovwr forest. A little rain wouldnt bother her, but she could see how it would bothet a thick furred cat such as Raccoonstrike. Water more or less rolled off her short fur, though she was hardly RiverClan. She gathered herself and amswered, "You can. I... Think Ill stay a bit longer..."
