Orange, I love the design <3

Dia, I agree that the cheek is too small, and if you ask me the nose needs more definition, it looks to flat and curved downwards. Other than that I admire your lineless skillage, mine lineless is hobble

Silent, There is something funny looking about the hair that i just can pinpoint, ill let you know if it do... maybe some shading from the hair on the face, idontknow...

My turn my turn! https://join.me/372-515-368 Livestreaming, need some help on deciding what looks better with the piece..

    i've been working on a huge monitor/flat screen tv as a monitor lately so i still have to get used to the sizing aha
    anyway critiques and such welcome but it was very simple and done in probably 30 minutes as a gift for thisunithasasoul on tumblr

    @ drifting sakura ; do you have a tablet? which version do you use? if you use a newer one,like photoshop elements 7 and up,then i suggest using some custom brushes.
    if you use a tablet i can easily suggest you some that work great if you tweak the pressure setting. download these and load them in as custom brushes in ps
    these have to be my favourite to use really,because i can sketch,line,and colour with them with ease. if you have pressure sensitivity i suggest turning it on opacity and size,and airbrusg on if you so please.

    i did this wih just the hard round detail and it works great to paint with as well if you mess with it.

Thanks Lass! They're fantastic brushes! I'll play around with them to get it right, but could you suggest what opacity? And what about flow? I've generally been using 80% opacity and 40% flow, fiddle around with min size etc. Do you think there are any other better settings.

Does anyone here use DA muro and know how to submit the image instead of a video of drawing it?

Yeah I was wondering that too. I'm not really sure.

When you're submitting, click 'more options' and under 'submit as:' pick 'Image of the final piece' instead of 'Redraw'.
I think. I was on the redraw's page and someone'd asked that question before.

Thank You!

Nex- I love how you've done the scars, they bring a log of definition to his face ^^ I feel like the inner ear is lacking some detail but I could be wrong.

Atomic Blue- Wow, that's turning out really good! I love the different colors of highlights.

Dia.- If I were you'd I'd avoid any blur tool for blending shading since it doesn't blend, it usually just drags the color around. I really like that little tuft of hair showing though xD

Silent Symphony- I'd avoid using any red on lips unless it's lipstick if I were you, unless it's blended nicely. Also, using thinner or colored lines may make the drawing look smoother, especially on the hair.

---

I did art for someone offsite, but it's kind of a secret santa type thing so I can't post it with colors, just lines and shading. I was trying to do that one user's style on dA, the one who does the kitten makers xD

I'm most proud of the shading I think x3

Also, I did this yesterday: Click!

Lately, I been having trouble with profile views XD Bu tI really like how you did the scar on the lips; it's not straight down, but you made it seem as if it has shape ;D

@ Atomic Blue - I love. painty like coloring ;v;
omg teach me sensei sob tears. Really like how it's turning out so far! o3o

@ Dia - Very nice :D
I really like how it looks like as an avatar *u*
Maybe next time make the shading a bit more dynamic? c;

@August - L.o.v.e that shading omg // touches
once again, making the shading more defined won't hurt ;D
Adding diff. colors to the shading also brings out some funky goodness eue

Finished a commish for someone on Rescreatu; I like the shading lD

    Nex ;; Wow, he's gorgeous. o3o I'm really liking the scars -- and his expression; he looks kind of wistful and hopeful. <3

    Atomic Blue ;; Oooh, I really like it! It's coming along very nicely. ^^ I'd help you out, but I don't see anything wrong with it~

    Dia. ;; Very pretty! The only thing I can say is, I wouldn't blend the shading in quite so much next time.

    Sorry if I didn't comment on you, I have to go now! D:

I feel like the nose is a tiny bit small, though, and it should be pretty round. :3
