Kage smiled at her and licked his nose. "Beautiful feather for a beautiful Fae," he said softly with a smile, leaning over to lick her on the cheek. He ate the bird and half the rabbit before he was full and he lay down next to Maggie, leaving the rabbit buried under snow to keep it fresh for her if she grew hungry again.

Maggie smiled and blushed "who is your crush at your pack? Not coating me!" she asked

Kage looked at her. "Crushes never really counted for me. I was hated by everyone, even the females I had crushes on," He said, a look of sadness in his eyes. "You are the first one that ever gave me a chance,"

"what was her name?" she asked

"Hail. But that was years ago. I was still little," Kage said. "What about you? Did you have any crushes? I'm sure a lot of males liked you. You're prettier than any female I've ever seen,"

Maggie blushed "nope the only male that liked me was Freddy and I hated everyone!" she said

Kage smiled. "I'm glad you don't hate me. At least not all the time," he added the last bit as a tease with a lick to her nose.

Maggie smelled and got up and limbed outside and rolled in the snow to wash the blood

Kage watched her roll around and wished he could play but his injured paw and her injuries kept him from jumping up. "I'm sorry I got you hurt again," He said before he could stop himself.

Maggie looked at him and went back to rolling melting the snow with her hot blood
