"If you don't try, how do you expect to learn?"
Wisepaw looked from Wolfpaw to Silverstar, then back. "Wolfpaw no. Let Silverstar handle it.." she whispered to him when she walked over. Her eyes fell on Silverstar again as she awaited her answer to what Wolfpaw said. She wouldn't really let an apprentice test this cat, would she?

"Let me occupy your mind, as you do mine."
Silverstar put her tail up, signaling for Spiderfrost to be silent. Then she looked at Wolfpaw as he spoke. When he finished, she shook her head. "No, Wolfpaw. You are strong but you are only an apprentice." At the end she gave to a look as to say 'Do not argue any further.' and turned back to Sage. "Alright, Sage. I am not saying you are weak but if you are so sure of yourself, then you may fight one of my strongest warriors. Where is Angelsong?" she finished, looking around for the she-cat. Angelsong was evil and a trickster but she was one of the best fighters in the clan. Just as she was thinking of her, Angelsong came trotted gracefully over.

"Practice makes perfect? But nobody's perfect, so why practice?"
Angelsong opened her eyes and yawned. She had fallen asleep in the warriors' den after staying out late the night before. A new scent wafted to her nose and she tilted her head sleepily. A new... cat? Angelsong stood and stretched then walked out of the den, curious to see who this new cat was. Just as he got outside, she heard her name being said and looked up to see a group of cats. Silverstar had called for her. Angelsong smiled and trotted gracefully over to the group. "You called, Silverstar?" she mewed to her leader with a voice like silk. Silverstar looked at the she-cat and nodded. "Ah, yes, Angsong, right on time," she paused flicking an ear towards Sage, "This is Sage. She used to be a kittypet-"
"Used to be? Peh! Once a kittypet, always a kittypet." Angelsong interrupted, glaring at Sage. Silverstar sighed and continued, "Yes, well, Sage wishes to join us and she thinks she's good enough to fight and beat one of our strongest warriors. So, I called for you. Are you up for it?" Angelsong scoffed, "Ha! Of course! I could use a warm up to wake me up this morning." she meowed with a sly grin.
