Nature had been restored years ago, but recently a new government official came to power and is looking to destroy nature and replace it with man-made things. Worse, the government approves this idea. Machines are being made ready for plots of forest land about to be plowed. The characters oppose this, and are trying to save Nature before it's too late. Would anybody be interested?
That sounds cool! Maybe some of the characters could be animals, because they have the most to loose.
♞♘♞Bright green eyes darted around, and alert ears swiveled around like satellite dishes. Shatter knew that she was alarmingly close to the pack, but this was the best place for hunting. All her senses were on the lookout for any movement. The wily wolf glanced into the heart of the territory. She knew they had a fresh-kill pile there; she could smell the assorted aromas all jumbled together in the same location. She wrinkled her sensitive nose in distaste as the scent of many wolves came along with it; she had always liked to have her own space. Her 'personal space bubble', she sometimes called it. Living in a pack must be so stressful; all the bright and lively fragrances making her nose ache and her eyes sting with discomfort.
♘♞♘Shatter placed a small, delicate-looking white paw inside the marked boundary and looked down at it as if she had never seen such a thing before. The kill pile was full, judging by the many wonderful smells that embraced her and made her mouth water with longing. The hunters must do their jobs well. She could just sneak in there, dart over to the pile, take one small piece of prey, and run away. It would not even make much of an impact; they had so much! No. Too risky. Not worth it. The thought was tempting, and she almost took another step in, but common sense got the better of her. The pack must have several members if the hunters were able to bring in that much - either that, or they were very experienced. She might get caught, and who knew what they might do to her? Kill her? Maim her? Take her in? She shuddered at every last one of the possibilities that ran through her mind. But then again, she was quick and clever... She might be able to worm her way out of trouble. And she might not even be captured! Despite this positive note, she stepped outside the boundary. They were likely to detect her scent trail and track her down anyways if they were riled up enough that she had stolen something - though they had so much prey to eat, she could make neither head nor tail of why they would be upset. So unless it rained right after she took a piece, she still might be detected, she concluded.
♞♘♞Shatter looked up at the sky. The clouds were heavy and gray, and it did seem like rain was not out of the question. She wavered uncertainly, but finally turned her back firmly on the pack's territory. She was perfectly capable of hunting for her own food, after all. She tilted her fox-like head up to the sky, her quivering black nose searching the area for the telltale scent trail that would (hopefully) lead her to her next meal. Catching one of a vole lingering enticingly in the air, she lowered her muzzle to the ground, where she let her sense of smell begin to take over.
♘♞♘Shatter's pace quickened as she neared the location of the vole. She was eagerly anticipating the explosion of flavor she knew would come, what with the prey being bountiful and plump. Her steps slowed, however, very quickly as she approached the oblivious prey. Checking to make sure she was downwind, she slipped behind a conveniently located patch of hedges, eying the vole hungrily. She crept around to the side, her muscles slipping easily into a stalking crouch. She was still downwind. The glint in her evergreen eyes was a perfect mirror to what was going on in her mind. Shifting her weight to redistribute it to her hind legs, tail silently working to keep her balanced, she readied herself for the pounce. Her lips lifted slightly into a dark smile, exposing several dangerous teeth as she expertly calculated the necessary force to land on the vole. The built-up power in her legs was released, and she sprang forth, front paws firmly pressing down on the vole's back. The animal, startled, managed to wiggle its way out from beneath her paws and scurry away. Cursing, she darted after it, but it disappeared and she sat back on her haunches, disappointed. "Ugh. Time to try again," she muttered under her breath.
♞♘♞Shatter stood up, muscles aching. She suddenly did not feel like trying to hunt down another animal. She looked back in the direction of the pack. Perhaps she could steal some food... Who cared if they found her? She was in a foul mood. Though she had failed to catch prey countless times in the past, she now reprimanded herself for letting the vole go. Not only had her pressure on it not been enough, but her reflexes had been too slow for her to recapture it. Making up her mind quickly, she padded towards pack territory, her stride purposeful and the look set on her face grimly determined.

|| Brute | 5 Years | Beta Male ||
|| Terrified, Confused | Den, Flood, Bank | Sleeping, Trying To Swim, Waking Up ||Fenris had been sleeping in his den before the original wave hit. Water crashed through the opening and woke the brute. He gave a startled yelp and struggled to get to his feet. The entrance to his little cave was slanted away from the direction of the oncoming flood, slightly slowing the water that was rushing into his den. Fenris managed to pull himself up in the foot of water before a small wave came crashing over him inside. The force of it unbalanced the wolf and threw him back down. He gave a sharp yelp of pain as his muzzle struck the stone wall, chipping one of his white teeth and causing blood to appear near his nose. He growled and forced his legs to pick him up and push his way out of the cave. Fenris almost wished he'd stayed inside, even though he'd have drown if he did since the water had been rapidly filling the den. As soon as he set paw outside, a wave rushed over the camp again and converged on him. The water picked up the brute and thrust him under it's surface. Unable to breathe in the crushing depths, Fenris kicked and fought with the wave, panic lighting his eyes. He desperately searched for the surface. I'm going to die.. I'm going to die.. At this thought, he fought harder. Rocks frequently cut through his fur and into his skin. Soon Fenris was covered in scratches with blood flowing out and streaming in the water behind him. Just as the wolf was about to give in and let the water take him, he realized the water wasn't as murky and he could see light shining through the gloom. The surface! Determination rushed through the weary brute's limbs and he began to kick and fight again. The current was difficult to swim against but he managed to get through and to the air again. As soon as his muzzle broke the surface, Fenris open his jaws to breathe air into his screaming lungs. He immediately vomited up water, among other things, as he did so. He struggled to keep his head above the surface as he searched desperately for some sort of safety. He whimpered, seeing none. Too tired to howl for help, Fenris continued to drift through the current, his limbs loosing strength. He hoped someone would find him before the water took it's claim. He realized the sound of rushing water was getting louder and his ears perked up. He strained his neck upward to try to see the source of the noise. "Oh no.." A waterfall! Fenris glanced frantically around but it was too late. The current swirled around his and the world tilted as he was thrown out of the water and over the edge of the falls. He screamed in terror as he was flung through the air. His howl was cut off as he hit the water again. This time he was thrown recklessly about by the tumbling foam. The brute hit his head on a rock and lost consciousness, his body floating through the water.

Fenris woke with a pounding headache. Where am I? What happened this time? The male was drenched and washed up on a shore near the waterfall. He raised his head weakly and blinked as he gathered his surroundings. He shook his head as if to clear it. His limbs ached and when he opened his jaws to cough, he vomited up a stream of water turned pinkish by blood. Fenris tried to get up but collapsed onto the ground again. He whimpered and laid his head back down. He opened his jaws again and howled weakly, hoping someone would fine him.

|| Tense, Slightly Annoyed, Determined | In the forest | Early Morning Hunting ||
Fallen's eyes narrowed, his golden gaze on the tiniest herd of deer he'd ever seen. There were only 3, 4, maybe 5 of them. Longing glittered in his eyes and he wished to chase them, but he was unable to take one down himself. One wolf couldn't kill a full grown deer alone and with a buck, there was always the threat of it's antlers. He flashed his teeth in slight annoyance. Standing up, the hunter turned towards the direction of a small clearing he new to be nearby. Rabbits tended to gather there in this season. He didn't know if any would be there now though. Prey was so hard to find. This made him even more annoyed that he couldn't go after the deer. Fallen set off at an easy trotting gait, his paws setting up a rhythm against the ground. The pitch black wolf pushed against the ground, his pelt seeming to blend with his surroundings. He tucked his forelegs up to his chest to keep clear of the log he leaped over. His tail lifted, helping the brute to balance on his landing. Once all four paws hit the ground, he set off once more at a quick trot.

A shaggy furred wolf raises his head. His brain feels clouded and he looks around with his deep amber eyes, trying to figure out what happened. Where am I? Fenris shakes his head, trying to clear the foggy feeling. Why can't I remember? Disoriented, he rises to his paws slightly unsteady. He takes a few steps forward and notices a light weight on his paw. The brute glances down and he flicks his ears, confused, at the metal band there. He lowers his muzzle and sniffs at it, detecting a trace of human. He pulls his ears back and snarls. Of course they're behind this.. Fenris snaps at it with his long teeth in an unsuccessful attempt to remove it. With a sigh, the wolf looks around the unfamiliar terrain once more and notices a group of wolves not far off. His hackles rise lightly and he slowly stalks over to the group. As he gets closer and here's snippets of the commotion, a fae that looks younger than he is lets out a short howl and they turn their muzzles towards her. Fenris hesitates a moment before walking forward as close to the front as he can get to listen. He twitches his tail occasionally while she talks and shortly he finds himself nodding in agreement. "I'll join you." His deep smooth voice breaks the silence as the other wolves deliberated their decisions. A few others announce they will join. Fenris doesn't say much more but keeps close to the fae that had originally spoken. He hears that her name is Jade. He tells her his name as well. Someone suggests that they should hunt. Fenris is more of a fighter than a hunter so he doesn't say much. Instead, he follows the wolves that are setting up there dens and seeks one out for himself. He finds one nestled between two small trees. Stepping inside, he raises his muzzle to sniff at the air. Satisfied, he lays down in the entrance and his newly-claimed den. After a short while, he hears Jade tell some wolf that there is a fresh carcass in the territory. The hunters must have found something. The brute stands and stretches out his forelegs ahead of him before trotting towards the food. Not being particularly hungry, Fenris snaps up only a few bites before sitting down and glancing around at the other wolves of this 'pack'. He opens his jaws to yawn and then snaps them together again, a sharp snapping sound resonating from them. He drop of water lands on his ear and he flicks it off. Another follows shortly. He rises his face towards the sky and sees dark gray clouds forming. Just as he stand to return to his den, the rain starts pouring down on him. Growling in irritation, Fenris lengthens his stride until he's safely out of the downpour and in his den once again. He shakes out his bracken and gray colored fur, water droplets spraying in every direction. He flicks an ear again and plops down on the ground with a sigh.

I was thinking the school would have this huge rule against showing affection for each other if it wasn't of the opposite gender, so it would be maorly unfair to the homosexual/bisexual kids, causing drama :3
