Kaydin steps over the crest of the hill. He looks down at the river and smiles, "Come on Zoe, theres water down ahead." He said looking back at the paint filly behind him.

Zoeburi steps up beside Kaydin and looks down at the river. "Well then what are we waiting for! Lets go dad!" She said, bolting down the hill to the water.

Kaida looked back at him, flicking her tail against his nose. She smirked lightly.

Kaydin pins his ears back and gallops after his daughter, "Zoeburi, slow down before you fall.... again!" He yelled after the stubborn filly.

Zoeburi didn't give Kaydin a second glance. She skids to a stop, but a little to late. The paint filly flopped backward, sploshing into the water. She rolls over and shakes out her short mane, now sopping wet.

I jump, spooked by Zeoburi.

Zoeburi raises her head, looking strait at Kalina. She squeals, suddenly frightened. The filly swiftly turns around and scrabbles at the mud bank, her small hooves slidding on the slick surface.

Kaydin whinnies to Zoe. He skids to a stop and trots to the struggeling filly, "Zoe, settel down." He looks at Kalina and dips his head, "I hope she didn't disturb you." He said, worried still about his daughter.

I stopped once I was only a few feet away from her, shaking out my silky mane. "Hey", I said, grinning in a flirty way. "May I ask your name?" I said, my coat shiny under the hot sun.

I craned my neck, nickering in reply. I broke into a trot, advancing closer. I heard a voice, turning only to shake my head in thanks for the warning.

"Tear." She said in her soft, silky voice, "Yours?"
