{Andrea thought over Cyndaquil's moves?}

Cyndaquil bobbed u and down on the tips of his toes, staring down Eevee as he waited for his next command. Gale stood there, face stern but held no emotion. When in battle, there was no room for mistakes. He had to use some of the Eevee's moves aginst it, as well as the trainer's judgement. How he would go about that, however, was a different problem.

He knew Eevee liked to lower stats, use speed, and seemed rather cocky about itself. Cyn was fast, but used more attacks and power, but could be clumsy. What to do....

A thin smoke still covered the area, only offering little cover from his opponents view. Gale nodded. "Cyndaquil, use tackle." he said simply, sending his pokemon springing foreward. Gale supposed Eevee would counter attack, or at least dodge. When Cyndaquil was nearing, Gale changed his tactic. "Cyndaquil, Ember." Cyn nodded, opening his mouth to send a rush of fire at Eevee before slamming into him. Both pokemon were send into a rush of fire.

Eevee yelped, being hit by 2 moves at once. He was first hit by a fore that was unexpected and skidded on the ground, tumbling over a little. He was then hit by a burst of flames and cried out, falling down but slowly getting back up again. Eevee panted, staring at the Cyndaquil. He growled and flashed a look at his trainer, ready for him to attack his opponent. His gaze then switched back to the Cyndaquil, who had also been hit by its own Ember in the process of using tackle in him.

Andrea clenched her hands, grasping at her skirt. She then muttered a bit and thought through a plan quickly. She then looked at her Eevee that was panting from those two moves. "Breeze, use Sand Attack!" Andrea yelled to her Pokemon. She watched as her Eevee kicked up a flurry of Sand, covering the battle field with a dust cloud, making it hard to see. "Now use Tackle!" Andrea told her Eevee.

Eevee nodded at Andrea and quickly dashed into the sand cloud, his eyes flickering, looking for the Cyndaquil. He then saw a light, and followed it silently. Eevee saw his opponent and dashed quickly, ramming into Cyndaquil with a force. Eevee then dashed back in his place and stared at the dust cloud in front of him. He was still panting, and almost fell to the ground but kept strong.

(Yeah, probably best to call it a draw)

Cyndaquil shook, hitting the ground with much force from the blast. Then, again, getting hit by Eevee. Cyndaquil moaned, muscles straining se he attempted to stand. His body shook, but he was to his feet, panting loudly. Gale narrowed his eyes, thinking things over. This would be over soon, the battle, for both pokemon were weak. "Cyndaquil, Ember followed by Tackle!"

Cyndaquil nodded, starting off at a run. He shot a ball of fire from his mouth, but sped up as it flew through the air. Cyn jumped over the ball of fire, ramming into Eevee from above. Both pokemon again tumbled to the ground, Cyn still panting hard, as the fireball flew past them and shattered in another small explosion.

[Swiftalu]

Eevee cried out, another force hitting him yet again as he fell to the ground. He steadily got up only to be knocked down again by the flame Cyndaquil shot at him. He panted, and got up very slowly and panted hard, looking at his opponent with one eye closed and his teeth gritted. Both of Eevee's ears were tilted down. He growled some and stared at his opponent.

Andrea looked at her poor Eevee, who wasn't going to survive much loner, Andrea just needed one more move to finish off Cyndaquil, but that could be risky for her Eevee, who was in the same position as Cyndaquil. She clenched at her Skirt, teeth gritted and her face stern. She then shouted one last command to her Eevee "Breeze! Use Tackle on Cyndaquil!" Andrea watched as her Eevee slowly charged up its speed and watched it run, ramming into Cyndaquil, and kicking up a few grains of sand, creating a small dust cloud around him and Cyndaquil.

Eevee rammed into Cyndaquil with such a force, he gasped and then fell to the ground. Eevee growled some, not happy to about to be in defeat. He sighed and looked at his opponent, who had seem to almostt fall now, like him, probably in a few seconds. Eevee then looked at the dust cloud around him and blacked out, fainting within the dust cloud.

[Pengu.]

Cyndaquil bounced aginst the ground, tiredly coming to a stop on his stomach. The pokemon attempted to stand, but fell into the dirt in defeat. Cynda...., he gulped, fainting within the small cloud of dust.

Gale stared out to the field, locking eyes with Andrea for a quick moment. He nodded, slowly stepping foreward, backpack in hands quickly. Gale knelt down next to his partner, taking him in his arms. "Good job bud. You need a long rest. Then we can start training for the gym." Gale smiled, removing various potions and herbs from his bag. Learning from an old man did come in handy, herbal medecines were his forte. Gale proceded to spread the mixture onto his pokemon, letting Cyn lick it from his fingers as well.

Gale looked up, smiling a bit. "That was a good battle. Sorry for your Eevee... Hope they are both okay."

[Swiftalu]

Andrea nodded, scooping her Eevee in her hands, seeing it look at her and frown some as she heard a tiny cry from it. "Eevee..." Eevee said, looking up at Andrea with a sad yet disappointed expression. Andrea smiled at her Eevee, setting it back down. "You fought hard, you should be proud." Andrea smiled at her Eevee.

She quickly unlatched her bag and dug through it for a moment, finding a potion in the bag. She then pulled it out and looked at her Eevee. "Hold still..." Andrea said, spraying some on her Eevee and seeing it wince for a moment and then looking up at her after a minute. Andrea smiled again and pulled out her Pokeball. "You fought hard, take a good rest" Andrea said to her Eevee, the Pokeball streaming a red light from the button, forming it around her Eevee and sucking it in. She looked at her Pokeball and sighed, putting it in her bag.

Andrea looked at Gale and smiled. "It was a good battle" she replied, latching on her bag again. She looked at her Chikorita, who seemed to be with a blank expression, staring at her. "Chiko... Chikorita said, staring at the Cyndaquil, then flickering its gaze at Gale.

[Pengu.]

Cyndaquil shakily tried to get free from his trainer's grasp, tight as it was around his body, trying to go investigate the other pokemon further. "Cyn..calm down.." Gale whispered, pulling out a berry for Cyndaquil to preoccupy himself with. For now, his pokemon calmed down.

Gale gently stroked his pokemon's forehead, instantly calming the jittery little guy. Cyn soon closed his eyes to rest, safely in Gale's arms. "So..Andrea. Are you heading past Route 29, to Cherrygrove City?" Gale asked, walking over to her. "You said you were heading for gym leaders so...." Gale paused, looking to her Chikorita with a confused expression. Why was it staring at him... "Anyway, that is where I am headed too. You could tag along, if you wanted. Two seems like better company than just Cyndaquil and I..."

Andrea was surprised for a minute, her eyes widening. She then tapped her head for a minute with her finger, thinking about what to answer with the question. Her Chikorita growled at Andrea and nudged her with its leaf and Andrea laughed. "Alright, Alright, I'll tag along. It's more fun with two people and not just one, I can understand that. Though three is a crowd if we had the trainer with its Totodile!" Andrea joked, giggling to herself quietly. She smiled and looked up "Yeah, I'm heading to Cherrygrove City to go to Violet City and battle Falkner if I'm correct."

Andrea then stroked her Chikorita on the neck as it smiled. "Chikori..." Chirkorita said contently, loving to be stroked. Andrea then flickered her gaze back to Gale. "It's probably best we train along the way, maybe 5 battles or so to level up or Pokemon and his or her stats" Andrea said, though she mostly wanted to explore for that reason as she loved to visit places she never saw. She sighed happily thinking about.

[Pengu.]

Gale smiled and nodded, looking down to his Cyndaquil. "Agreed. Battling is probably necessary.." he chuckled. "Though, if you are up to it Cyn.." he asked. Cyndaquil nodded excitedly, blowing smoke into his trainer's face. "I take that as a yes.." Gale muttered, shaking the smoke out of his black hair. "I also wanted to catch some pokemon along the way as well." Gale added, starting off in the direction of Route 29 again.

Andrea looked through the trees, seeing little bits of light and some Pidgey flying off into the distant sky. She smiled some and then sighed happily. Her gaze turned to her Chikorita, who seemed to agree. "Well then, lets go and train!" Andrea said excitedly, running past Gale instantly, eager to explore new places she's never been too. Chikorita seemed to smile, spotting some wild Pokemon among the floors of the grass who looked up and scurried off. Andrea had planned her team for a long time and could now finally use it when she got all the Pokemon needed.
