Kasey sighed as she watched her horse run around the paddock. "Well, its been a week since you've been ridden, time for you to start working again" she said grabbing her lead rope and walking out the door. Before stepping outside, she walk back over to her stall and grabbed an apple for Calypso. "He'll never come back in if I don't have it" she laughed, rolling her eyes. She stepped over to the gate and whistled for him to come over to her, holding the apple up in the air so that he could see it. He perked his ears up at the sound of her voice, and trotted over, eager to get the treat she was holding. Before she let him have it she snapped the lead onto his halter and led him out, giving him the apple when they got back inside, which he munched happily on.

Ally smiled at the girls friendly greeting, which she could easy return. "Hi" she said, as the girl kept walking. She had seen her turn out her beautifully colored mare to the field, so when the girl continued to walk, Ally could guess she was heading back out to see her. Or perhaps bring her in....although she was only out for a very short while. Turning back to Gemini, she sighed. "Now girly....cooler" she said, partly to herself as she turned to face the door, where a red 'Fall Finale" cooler was draped. It was the very cooler she had eared when she did a show jumping season on Gemini only a few months ago, over the Autumn. Dropping the body brush back into the grooming kit, Ally picked up the cooler and lay it over the mares black withers, fastened it at the front, and pulled it back before completely doing up each of the remaining straps. She walked up to Gemini's head, as the mare looked away from her haynet to greet Ally. "What to do..." she muttered to the mare, patting her short black coat.

After Ashton had done a basic warm up, he had Primrose do a few different excersizes, such as figure eights and rollbacks.

The copper colored mare snorted, practically grinning. She loved to work.
However, the Aussie honestly preferred working with cattle over a bunch of drywork.

But still, work was work.

It only took a light touch of the rein or leg to get her to turn.

Her nostrils flared as she was asked to go into a faster canter, and her hooves practically ate up the ground.

Ashton chuckled. His mare wasn't exactly the "flashiest" horse around, but she was something else when she got a chance to strut her stuff.

Even at the faster speed, it was easy for him to keep complete control.

He did a couple rollbacks at a slower canter, then started to work on more turning, pleased when she turned on a dime- as usual.

Then he started to work on stopping, the mare able to come to a complete stop at a simple 'whoa'.

"We keep Mares and Geilding together. But we keep Stallions somewhere else." Amy - Mae said. She smiled at Alexa. She moved abit of her blonde hair behind her ear, as it was in her face. She felt somewhat nervous, and a little shy still. It wasn't the way she usually acted. "Must be the fact i had to take my inhaler in front of her." She thought.

History (5+ lines): Her life wasn't exactly interesting, just volleyball and soccer along with riding filling her time, until one summer when she was fifteen. During that summer, her family was heading back from one a small party thrown by her mothers work and got in a car crash due to drunk driver. Her brother, who was five, and her father, were killed in the accident. Her sister, Chloe, 14, recieved a broken arm and leg, and the youngest sister, Nico, 12, got a broken wrist, and stiches on her stomach to right-side rib cage while Willow recieved broken legs and was stuck in a wheelchair for six months. Both her sisters were sent across the country to their Aunt once released from the hospital and she hasn't seen them since. Her mother, being trapped in the hospital due to cancer a few years after, was never around and Willow's step-father would rarely let her down there and Willow refused to ride with him due to excessive drinking. But Willow was also mistreated by her step-father - mistreated being some beatings and the occasional s*x**l harrassment - only staying until she'd finished highschool; jumping at the chance to move to the Rosewood Stables

Willow was in her room, finishing up with some unpacking, putting stuff where she thought she would remember where its at. Destiny was lying on her bed, placed in the corner of the room so it wasn't in the way, watching Willow curiously. Once finishing with her stuff, she went and sat on her bed, and Destiny immediately went over to Willow, jmping on the bed, and putting her front paws on her owners lap, licking her face. Willow smiled at her dog, scratching her ears. Destiny let out a short whine, looking over at the door; which was closed just in case. "You wanna go check out the place?" She asked the dog. Destiny whined, jumping off the bed and going to the door, and walking tight circles, indicating a 'yes.' Willow chuckled, getting up. "So do I. C'mon, pretty girl," she said, opening the door and closing it behind the dog then leading outside.

Ashton chuckled; Primrose seemed to be trying to give him a hard time today- at least, right now she was.

He didn't seem to mind though, so long as she didn't buck or kick.

"A little fast for my taste." He mused, amused when the mare's ears flicked back, like she was listening to him.

Her reaction seemed to be along the lines of: 'Fast? You think this is fast? I'll show you fast!' Because, a second after he had said it, she picked up her pace, lifting her legs up a bit higher, and making her strides a tad bit longer to help with acceleration.

Of course, he never really focused much on the length of her stride. They weren't jumpers or dressage champs, so they didn't really need to.

The way he saw it, there was fast, and there was slow. Then, there was a comfortable pace in between.

Of course, they both preferred fast.

But, Ashton would have to put a cap on it at some point, they were in an arena after all.

He pulled back just a bit, and she shifted to a slower gear.

She snorted, not exactly pleased with the slower pace, but the Aussie learned to adapt to it, and went back to being her level-headed self.
