As he searched, Jamie's eyes fell upon a Mareep which was grazing peacefully in some grass nearby. This was the perfect opportunity: to get some training in, and have a shot at catching the woolly sheep Pokemon! Mareep's were cool, and their evolutions were even better. "Now Francis! Go in for a Tackle!" he suddenly shouted, pointing at the grazing Pokemon dramatically. Francis blinked in alarm, whisking around to look at the Electric type nervously.
"Tepiiig..." he mumbled reluctantly, before being unceremoniously tossed into battle by Jamie who had enthusiastically picked him up and gave him a kick start for the tackle. Charging at the sheep as fast as he could, Francis tossed himself at his opponent with some determination and aggression. He still looked reluctant and nervous, however.

Yuna smirked as Zack landed on the ground, kicking up dust after skidding to a stop by the girl's feet. Grunting the tan dog pushed himself on shaking legs. Zack glowered at the Tranquil as it went in for another attack. As the bird flew closer Yuna called out "Alright Zack! It's time to dodge and use Take Down!"

Lillipup! Lillll~" Howled the Pokemon as he pushed his body to the left, dodging the attack. Pushing his back legs as hard as he could Zack ran to the bird and jumped. Flying though the air he landed an attack in Tranquil's chest, causing the bird to screech in pain, following Zack to the ground.

As the Pokemon fell Yuna called out again. "Good, now use Bite again! This time aim for it's legs!" Yuna really didn't want to cause the bird to much pain or distress, but it was necessary for the Wild Pigeon Pokemon to be caught. Zack shook himself of leaves and dirt from his landing on the forest floor and dashed forward as the bigger Pokemon pushed it self up and launched into the air. It almost made it, if it wasn't for a pair of fangs attaching themselves on it's long legs.


Brown eye's widen in pain as Tranquil screeched in pain as it flapped back and forth to shake Zack off. Narrowing his own brown eyes Zack gritted his fangs even harder to hang on. His back paws brushed against the floor during the shake down. Yuna frown as she thought. A light buld flashed over her head as she called out. "Zack! Grip the ground and throw that bird down!" Grunting in acknowledgment, the pup waited for the right moment.

....wait for it....

....wait for it....

.....almost there..

His back paws made contact with the leafly floor, claws now digging into the dirt.

Now!

Growling, Zack throw his head back and forth till he lunged forward, the Tranquil following with a panic screech. SMACK! Went the Tranquil. The flying type warbled in pain as it laid there, eye now closed. Seeing that it was down Yuna, with poke ball in hand, call out in triumph. "Your mine!" And with a heave, tossed the white and red ball. It flew though the air till it landed on the dual Pokemon's head, swallowing it in a coating of red light. Once that was done it clicked closed, and shook back and forth. Zack growled at the moment, ears press against his head. The ball shook back and forth for a few more heart stopping moments.....

CLICK!

Yuna blink. And blinked again. Slowly a smile spread across her face as she let out a 'whoop' of joy.

Wild Pokemon;
A wild Pinsir glared at Mike and his Pokemon from a nearby tree.

The Mareep yelped in surprise, tumbling to the ground as it was hit by Francis. Straightening up again, the little sheep Pokemon rustled its fluff before using Thundershock on the Tepig.

Erin;
She smiled at Sabrina, "To be honest, I'm not great with all the sparkles and beauty for contests. I'm sure you'll be a great coordinator." Erin replied, "What about you, Marlyn? Are you going to battle gyms, or enter contests?" the girl asked her, just as they entered Gainsboro City.

Marlyn glanced at Sabrina. A Coordinator, eh? Personally, she was indifferent on the subject of contests. It seemed more like an event for the humans, and the Pokemon just participated willingly. Like soccer for children.

"I'd rather battle in gyms, but contests sound fun too." She piped up and looked around as they entered the city. She could see the neighborhoods, which were closer, and a taller building behind them. She couldn't tell what it was, but if she had to guess it was the gym. Pokemon Centers--or what Gainsboro had, a Medical and Herbal shop--were not that tall.

Mike looked at the angry pincer. "This doesn't look good," He said to his pokemon. His pidove flew off his shoulder and attacked the pincer with it's wing attack. "Chipper! You don't want to make it even more mad!" The pidove continued its attack.

[ Members of Team Darkness are scattered across the region, but Mina, Axel and Yuna are in a cluster of trees at the edge of Gainsboro City, training. If you'd like, I can send in a few random grunts to battle Marlyn, Erin and Sabrina..?~ ]

Erin;
She nodded in agreement with Marlyn. "That's the gym - it's it unusual?" Erin smiled as she craned her neck to look up at the tall building. She wanted to battle the trainers in there already, but she knew that she needed to do some training. "Want to go to that little shop and get some supplies?" Erin pointed over to the small shop. The sun was sinking lower in the sky; it was late afternoon, so maybe they could get some training done before tomorrow.

Wild Pokemon;
The Pinsir glared at the Pidgey, being thrown off its tree as Tackle was used against it. Shaking itself off, the Pinsir used Seismic Toss.

(Crap I messed up big time. Can we change the pidove to a pidgy and the attack to tackle? I was thinking of my pokemon RP and Amber's pokemon. Sorry, responded to this RP late at night after taking four essays as a single final college exam.)

Sabrina looked around the city, "Do you know where the Pokemon center is? I need to heal my Pokemon." she said. She noted the sun sinking, "Could I go to the center, and meet up with you guys later, maybe?" she asked, looking over at Erin, since Marlyn didn't seem like she wanted to talk to anyone.

Erin;
"Sure," Erin nodded, "That little shop over there sells items, but they can heal your Pokemon, too. See you in a bit," She added, gesturing to the tiny building. A wild Lillipup had approached Erin, so she nudged Amazon, who hopped off her shoulder. The Pokemon battled it out with Erin's commands, and after a while the Lillipup grew tired of battling and fled. She pouted; it was a cute Pokemon. Making a mental note to challenge Marlyn or Sabrina to a battle in a while, Erin allowed Amazon to flutter back up onto her shoulder.

Sabrina waved to the other girls and started off to where a map was posted up on a board. She ran her finger along the paper, finding the mark fro the Pokemon center. Good, it was nearby. She walked off in the direction of the center, then walked through the sliding doors. Putting her two Pokeballs on the counter. She waited for her Pokemon to be healed.
