History:He didn't die badly he got very old to the age of 13 and then couldn't stnad no more so we took him to the vets he never came back i got told they put him to sleep as he was in pain everytime he moved

I recently lost my favorite fish. It was so sad. He was so friendly and beautiful.

Name: Dimitri
Picture/description: He is a cockatoo cichlid.



History: I got Dimitri and his mate (MiG) from a pet shop when they were both juveniles. They were both awesome fish, but Dimitri was more calm and peaceful. He was really healthy, but then one day I noticed that he wasn't eating, he was just sitting on the bottom, and he had a hole in his head. He had head and lateral line erosion (hole-in-the-head disease). I did all I could, but eventually he was just floating around but still trying to swim and trying to find a place to hide but he just couldn't move. It was so sad to see him so sick and part of me actually hoped he died soon because he was suffering so much. The next day, he died. We buried him in our pet cemetery and I'm currently growing some flowers to put on his grave.
Extra items: Make sure he has his spiky fin up.
