C A I E N N E | Dauntless -- When the Skylar girl had mentioned what they planned to do with the dog if they couldn't trade it for anything, she was immediately disgusted. Caienne, for strange reasons, always felt distaste when dog fights or anything that could intentionally hurt animals. Expressing her disgust with the proposition, she said, "Dog fighting is the most horrible thing you could ever think to do with a dog. If you can't get anything for it in a trade, I'm taking it." She snapped, and when she was done she bit down on her tongue to stop herself from saying anything more.

She noted Skylar acting weird, but she didn't take any interest in it. Everyone in the Dauntless gang seemed to be weird in one way, so she conditioned herself not to care when it came to unusual things. Catching a glimpse of Todd looking her way but not speaking to her, she immediately grew kind of cross. Removing her hands from her hips, she crossed her arms in an irritated manner. "What, cat got your tongue or something, boy?" She said in a rough tone, gritting her teeth. She knew she shouldn't respond so negatively to everything, but at this point she couldn't really help it.

He looked at Caienne with an unamused look at her little question. Cat got your tongue? Really child, can't be more original. He huffed at her comment, offering no further acknowledgement. Murmuring something under his breath he shoved his hands deep into his pockets to remind himself to keep quiet he turned and began walking away. He had no further need to talk to the two, let 'em do what they wanted with the dog. His mood took a drastic turn, bringing him back to the realization of why he kept away from people. He looked around as his stomach rumbled. Clenching his teeth he did his best to keep from trying to find somewhere to eat. Who would be open this late at night anyways? Waffle house mabye, he didn't like that place though. Did this city even have one? He allowed himself to get sidetracked with random questions once again as he always did. Pulling his hood up onto his head he walked towards the gas station across the street. A bag of chips couldn't hurt could it now?
Walking inside he used his shoulder to guide the door open. The man behind the register nervously shifted from foot to foot and kept a hand under the counter. Todd rolled his eyes and strolled down the aisle looking for something to eat. He settled on a bag of chips and reached into his pocket to check for money. He muttered a few curses to himself and stuffed it into his jacket. He looked back at the man and noticed him not looking. Smirking to himself he turned and left.
"You ain't getting nuthin'?" The man asked. "No." Todd replied and left the store. Rounding the corner he slid onto a ladder standing by itself. He sat on the top and pulled the bag out to eat. Wasting no time he got to work on it.

C A I E N N E | Dauntless -- She crossed her arms and looked at the dog. She certainly didn't want it to go to dog fights, but it wasn't her's. It was probably a Romano dog, by the way the other two were talking about it. She didn't like the Romano's, but she does like animals, and animals are most happy when they're with their owner. "Even if we can't get anything out of trading it, we should give it back to the owner anyway. It's an animal, it's never done anything bad to us, we should at least give it a chance with it's owner again." She finished her sentence with a sigh, and looked around her as if she expected someone else to show up at any minute.

As Todd offered another glance, and didn't say a word, she huffed for a moment, and got quite angry. She suppressed the urge to go off and strangle him as he went off and left like he wasn't there in the first place. Looking back at Skylar, she supposed she would continue her conversation about the dog with her.
