Darrius finally caught up to the singing person. He was rather dissapointed when he saw her, because she wasn't a demon. He put his blade away. "I'm sorry ma'am, I thought you were something else."

"You scared me half to death" she said catching her breath, "I mean it isn't very often some Shadowhunter comes running up to me with a knife" she huffed

Darrius smiled widely. "I thought you might need some more adventure in your life, ma'am." He heard a noise behind him and whirled around to see a demon darting into an ally. "I have to go!" He called behind him as he chased the demon. It was cornered when Darrius struck. He hit it and it started to disintigrate but it spat poison as it died. The poison caught Darrius in the face. He screamed in agony and blacked out.

Anima rushed over to Darrius and knelt beside him trying to use her powers to help him. the black rose rune on her arm stung as it began to glow her eyes began to glow as well, as she used her powers on him, to help get the poison out.
