Vex pawed the ground in annoyance at himself, "I dunno. I can't always focus sometimes, and I was hunting when I saw you so I guess that's what I did."

Willow padded into the woods searching for prey. She sniffed the wind and her ears flicked as she heard a small disturbance in the leaves to her left. She turned around and sniffed but smelt nothing.

Ann smiled and looked into his eyes "your sis told me you liked me." she said with a smile

"I-er, I mean," Vex took a second to calm down, "Urm, yeah. I do like you... I think you're really pretty." He wanted to smack himself for how lame he sounded.

"why? No one likes me around here!" she said with her head down

Jinx launched herself at a tree that lined the edges of the lake, and she curled up in a comfy position and watched as her brother made his 'moves' on Ann.

"Well," Vex gained some of his confidence back and smiled at her, "I do, if that counts!"

"why?" she asked "and when did you start to like me and where?" she asked more

"Um, I think it was when you were hunting one day and you looked so graceful and beautiful that I realized you were perfect.." Vex stated quietly.

Ann blushed and licked him on the nose "well I could meet you more and we can talk about going out" she said with a little smile
