Well. If Katerina thought they were being followed, and Nicholas thought they were being followed, then they were probably being followed. Now she was just curious as to who it was. "Nothin." She replied to him simply, with a slight shrug in her shoulders. "Don't be so jumpy, there's no need to be afraid." She said, "I highly doubt it's anyone scary." She smirked and raised an eyebrow at him with slight amusement.

Misty remained perfectly still as her roommate, Drew, got dressed and left the room. She was tucked under her covers pretending to be asleep. But now that Drew was gone, she could leave without anyone wondering. Misty kicked the covers from herself and hopped out of bed. She was dressed in hot pink tights, and a long grey and black hoodie. She crouched down and reached under her bed for Jonas. Her fingers wrapped around his slender and scaly body and she pulled him out. Instinctively he slid up under her hoodie and was concealed by the baggy fabric. Misty wondered if Drew knew that there was a twelve foot venomous snake living just under her bed. Misty shrugged, and without further ado, she left the room to join the crowd of night goers.

❂ Riley Hawkins ❂Name; Riley Hawkins
Age; 17
Gender; Male
Height; 6'0
Weight; 170
Hair Color; Black
Eye Color; Brown
Scars/Tattoo's/Piercings/Other; Tribal tattoos on the back of his neck and on his right forearm.
Personality; Riley Hawkins can be described in many fashions and in many different ways. The way people can see his personality is opinionated.
To someone that he likes, he can be a whirlwind of adventure and fun. Never liking to sit in one place, he is constantly on the move, constantly shooting his bow, tapping his foot and being out in the open. He enjoy making people laugh, seeing a smile on someone's face is one of the best opportunities for him. However, unlike his best friend, Jacob, he does not go out of his way to make someone laugh. He doesn't do it purposefully, he is naturally fun and humorous.
He enjoys adventure. Any activity that gets your adrenaline pumping, whether it is riding a motorcycle, skydiving or kayaking down a fierce and rapid current. He is a thrill seeker and is willing to put himself at risk to be able to satisfy his need for danger.
Riley is a spoiled brat. Growing up in a family that owns billions, he often got whatever he wanted from his parents. If he wanted a new ipod touch, he would dig into their pockets and buy himself one. If he wanted a corvette, he would go on his knees and beg for one. He gets what he wants, one way or another. If he wants the pretty girl, he'll use his charm, and his money to get her. But often he does not stay with only one girl. A free spirit, he drifts from girl to girl, ones he satisfies his needs, he dumps her and moves on to the next.
Riley often speaks without thinking. Living in a life where he can say anything he pleases without getting punished has led him to be a complete smart Alic and he often has more than one cuss stuffed up his sleeve. He doesn't care if his words sting or bite, doesn't care what effect they will have in the future. He is untouchable, so even if he hurts someone, there is nothing they can do about it.
Despite that inconsiderate side, Riley is a good friend. He is trust worthy and loyal to his friends, especially his close friendship with Jacob. He would never do anything to betray him, no matter the bribe, no matter the threat. When it comes to his room mate, Thomas...he knows the kid is weird. The acting, the odd personality, but he knows Thomas is unique. Riley doesn't like normal. Unique is different and surprising, and the more surprises that fill up Riley's life, the better.
Riley and his bow are inseparable. The thing that freed him from his parents constricting rule, he has had the bow and arrow since he was younger. He has had it modified as he got more skilled, but it is the same bow. He loves it, and depends on it and whenever he is feeling angry or upset or depressed, he shoots it, over, and over again. He never parts with it and nearly sleeps with it, it lays next to him on his bed, his fingers always curled around the bow.
He is extremely independent. For the first ten to twelve years of his life, his parents were extremely controlling and tried to manipulate everything he did and said. Once he began to rebel against them, they gave up on him, but he has never forgotten all the times his father tried to shove him in a tuxedo or learn to tap dance.
History; Riley was born with a silver spoon in his mouth. The manor of the Hawkins family is like a landmark in Washington, everyone knows of the castle like building, complete with towers, an arch and guards. Riley, for a long time, lived a sheltered life. During his elementary years, he lived in the castle.
He hated it. His parents tried to be controlling, tried to control everything he did. He was not allowed to play outside, “hurts the family reputation to have their barbarian son playing about in the mud,” his mother always said.
There is one thing that he has always liked. There were two instruments that his parents tried to force upon him to learn. The piano, and the violin. He could never understand the piano, the keys and colors gave his mind a headache every time he tried to play. The violin, however, he fell in love with. As soon as he put it up to his chin and struck the first note, he fell in love with it. Despite the opportunity, however, he still hated it.
His parents tried to control his life. They chose his outfits. They chose his friends, which mostly consisted of the snot nosed brats that were the children of governors and foreign presidents. He hated it. He could only watch as children played with each other outside as he drove by in his parents limousine, only watch as two middle school children shared a small kiss. His parents had never even allowed him around another girl, except for Gabrielle, the daughter of a governor.
His life began to get worse when he turned 14. It was here that he discovered that the only reason he was allowed to play with Gabrielle was because he and her were going to participate in an arranged marriage. Gabriella was thrilled by the idea, being wed to Riley Hawkins was the dream of every girl in town. For Riley however, it was a nightmare. Gabrielle, however she was nice to look at, was an empty shell, who focused her life entirely on clothes, shoes and the number of facebook friends she had. It was around this time that he found his bow.
His family had been invited to the National Professional Archery Competition in New Zealand and he had picked up the bow of the champion. It felt perfect in his hand, the way the bow rested in his palm as he held it. When he brought the string back to his ear, he felt like he had been using it for years, like he was born to be an archer. While the rest of the adults were busy, he took the bow and walked out to the field. A hundred meters away, was the target. He took the bow, drew the string back to his ear and holding it with three fingers, let the arrow fly. Every head turned, at first, anger glinting in their eyes, this boy holding the bow of the World Champion. But as the arrow struck the center of the target, their attitudes changed. Shock! Wonder! Amazement! They crowded around Riley and assaulted him with questions.
"How long have you participated in archery?"
"Why have you never competed before?"
"What kind of arrow do you prefer?"
It was only after his parents dragged him out of the house did he realize his mistake. He had, in one motion, changed his family's appearance. Now, they were not focused on his parents, the rich governor and governess. They were now concentrating on this gifted boy. The punishment he received was unbearable. He was locked in his room for a year. His room was big, with a flatscreen tv, xbox 360, a balcony, but it was not enough. He felt suffocated in his room. He then began to devise a way out. On the computer, he learned how to pick locks, and on Christmas night, a night he knew his parents were out drinking and partying, he picked the lock on his door and snuck out. He took his parents Lamborghini and went to the nearest archery shop and used his parents money, and extra, to buy a bow without being questioned. He then waited near his house. Crouched in the shadows. Waiting.
Finally, what he was waiting for arrived. His parents in their limousine, drunk and flitty, stumbling out to their mansion. Riley lifted the bow and fired. The arrow pierced through his mothers purse and impaled it into a tree. Shocked, the parents faced their son who stepped out of the shadows. "I want my life back," Riley growled. "I don't want to hurt you, but I will not stand you keeping me here. I want to get out and do things."
And so they did. From that moment on, Riley had the power to do anything he want. He stopped his private tutoring and went to a public school, where he thrived. Already more educated than the others, he was an all A student. Having countless time practicing his fencing and his archery, he was deemed a friend among the jocks. And more importantly, thanks to his charisma, rapist whit and stunning looks, he could befriend, and date, any person in the school that he desired. He was also able to persuade his parents into getting him an animal, something that they never would have dreamed of before he nearly shot his mother. He demanded to go to the petstore and get a dog, and so they did. They wanted him to get an expensive dog, like an Akita or a Pharoe hound. Riley, however, fell in love with the husky shepherd mutt. However, disgruntled, his parents agreed and bought him the dog and he later named him Bandit, for the moment he brought the pup home, he immediately stole Riley's underwear and ran off with it.
Then came the fateful day. He was outside, shooting at his targets when the black truck pulled up. His parents, whom were reading vacation magazines on their hammocks, looked up when the Blackmere agents came up to them. When they demanded Riley, his parents did not look at Riley, nor say anything to him. They merely nodded and went back to their reading. Riley knew they wouldn't. He didn't care. He didn't need them, he had everything he needed and everything he wanted. He joyfully went to Blackmere where he met Jacob, and attracted to his humor and charm, the two became best friends.
Likes; Archery, violin, skydiving, fencing, sports, relaxation, the sun, partying, girls, dating, people, water, hunting and dogs.
Dislikes; Jerks, closed in spaces, cats, water.
Other; None
Power; Not so much a power as an extraordinary ability. He is a master at archery, with the capability of hitting any object, any person, able to fire arrows with inhuman speed and accuracy.
Dorm; 1
Pets; Bandit
Crush; None
Boyfriend/Girlfriend; Half the school.

❂ Nicholas Danforth ❂
Nicholas shrugged. That answer was as good as any. He frowned when her next words hit him. "I'm not afraid," he said coolly, looking at her with the typical, I'm a guy and I'm not afraid of anything look. "It's just careful to be wary," he shrugged. "I know we are protected and stuff in here, but..." he trailed off as he remembered his last dream. The creature pinning him to a tree, it's tongue stroking his neck as he struggled to escape, it's clawed finger slicing through his skin. He shuddered. "It's always good to be careful."
❂ Riley Hawkins ❂
Riley whistled as he revved up the engine of his corvette. He smiled and closed his eyes as he heard the engine roar. He loved his car, and almost wanted to stroke it. He did, however, stroke a finger down the steering wheel, a finger callused from years of pulling back the string of a bow. He whistled and reached back, where he felt a rough tongue lick his hand. He smiled and whistled and Bandit leaped from behind up into the passenger seat. He whispered to him and stroked the dog's ears before opening his door and stepping out. He would wait here while the others got to him. He leaned against his car and looked up, feeling Bandit brushing against his pant legs.
Stars glimmered above, and after a couple of terms with his private astronomy teacher, Mrs. Ludwig, he knew all of the constellations. The stars flickered in his eyes as he spotted the three lights that were the belt of Orion, his favorite constellation. His eyes traveled upward as he found the tip of orions bow. Instinctively, he slid a finger down the wood of his bow and breathed. He took his bow and pulled an arrow out of the quiver that hung on his back. Whirling around, in a lightning fast movement, shot an arrow which imbedded itself into a tree, a tree that a young girl was in, but he did not see her. He fired three more shots, and the regular, "thump thump thump" of his arrows hitting the trees reached his ears.

Katerina smirked at the face he gave her, "Of course not." she replied sarcastically. She watched his expression as he seemed to trail off in thought, or possibly some memory, and wondered what exactly it was he was thinking about. She could see the fear flicker across his face, and then the way he shuddered. Obviously it was something he was worried about. "I guess you're right." She muttered, deciding to be considerate and not continue with her teasing.

❂ Nicholas Danforth ❂
Nicholas looked over at her. She wasn't convinced, but that was okay. Whether Katerina Stone believed him or not didn't concern him. He looked ahead at Jacob and he said to the boy, "so where are we going?"
"We go to a bunch of different places," Jacob said, walking through the entry hall to the pair of ancient double doors that connected the school to the outside.
"Shouldn't there be guards?" Nicholas asked, glancing around. The intimidating men and woman in trench coats and shades were no where to be found.
Jacob looked back and he grinned. "Thank Riley."
❂ Riley Hawkins ❂
Riley sat down, resting his head on the tire of his car and he gazed up into the trees. He watched branches sway and crack against each other as a breeze started, a chilly one at that. He growled and muttered to himself as he wrapped his hands around his bare arms, shielding himself from the cold. As if on cue, Bandit tromped up next to him and sat beside him, leaning against him. Riley smiled and stroked a hand through her warm fur when he heard a voice. He looked up and immediately his hand went to his bow, but he relaxed when he saw Jacob, and behind him, Katerina and Nicholas. Why were they coming? They never came. He stood up and brushed himself off, flashing them all a grin. "They're coming?"
"They are," Jacob said, jogging to the back seat and he jumped in, and yelled in shock as Bandit followed him in.
Riley chuckled and turned to face Katerina and Nicholas. His eyes twinkled with amusement as he spotted how out of place Nicholas looked. "Welcome, first timers," he said in a voice laced with sarcasm. "I have only one rule. Don't touch the wheel. Comprende?"
Nicholas nodded. "Understood," he said coolly, getting into the back seat beside Jake who was entertaining Bandit with a small flame.

Katerina's eyes widened just for a moment when she saw Riley's car, but she quickly composed her face again. It was just a car, she had just never seen such a nice looking one before. When Jacob and Nicholas both got in the back seat with some dog, she took the passenger seat, letting her fingers trail over the smooth door for a moment before she shut it. She was smiling, now excited for the night, although she still wasn't sure exactly what they'd be doing. She had never really hung out with Jacob, Nicholas, or Riley before and it was a good chance to make some new 'friends' and discover new personalities, see what she could find out.

❂ Jacob Petoski ❂
Jacob bristled slightly when Katerina slid in next to Riley. As soon as Nicholas had sat next to him, he knew that he had missed his chance to sit next to her. He heard Nicholas say something to him, but he blotted the boy's words out and his hand quickly flew up to his hair, making sure it was still perfect and he smiled a charismatic smile and leaned foreword. "So, Riley," he said, with a stretch, making sure Katerina could see his muscular arms flexing. "Who else is coming?"
❂ Riley Hawkins ❂
Riley attempted not to smile at his friends hilarious attempt at a flirt, and he allowed an amused smile to play across his lips. When it threatened to become full out laughter, he bit his lip, still smiling. When he heard Jacob, he glanced back, his smile slipping away, but his eyes still glinted with amusement. "Well let's see...we were going to take Danny, but obviously the kid isn't with you. Asleep?" When Jacob nodded hurriedly, he grinned. "Thought so. Kid sleeps like a rock."
❂ Nicholas Danforth ❂
"Where are we going?" Nicholas had asked Jacob, but the boy was infatuated with Katerina, mostly her hair. He rolled his eyes and sat back and closed his eyes. "I guess I'll find out," he said, and as expected, nobody answered. He smiled, used to it and put his hand out. He jumped when something wet touched his hand and he opened his eyes to see the big dog that nearly sat on top of he and Jake. He smirked and tangled his hand in the dog's fur and stroked his head with his other hand.

Danny Fonzarelli
Danny drifted somewhere between a dream and conscienceless. He thought he could smell pizza, and not just any pizza. The pepperoni from the little shop down on 55th, oh yes, he could almost taste the cheese...
"Danny." he could feel a shake on his shoulder and he was suddenly back to the real world. Blackmere, if you could call that the real world. He was shivering, despite having a blanket, and it was too dark to be time to wake up. Danny didn't open his eyes fully, just enough so that he could see his alarm clock. His alarm clock. Danny still wasn't used to waking up in his bed in his dorm, instead of on the floor of a hostile or a bus stop bench.
11:58? What the hell, Jacob!
It dawned on him that Jacob must be going out with his buddies again. Danny didn't know why they would want him to go along.
"Come on Danny."
Go away. Danny went right on faking it. Jacob left soon after. He tried going back to sleep, but it was useless. He had hardly been dreaming in the first place, and he was too weirdly awake to go back to 55th street pizza now.Danny sat up, shut off his alarm once he saw the note Jacob left.
The raindrops rolling down the window made creeping stripes across his crumpled sheets. The storm outside reminded him of last week, when he had arrived at Blackmere in the middle of the night, dragged in by the guards like a half drowned rat. In hindsight, he should've guessed there would be guards. He should have gone to the front gate instead of trying to slip through the back. It wouldn't have been a lot less embarrassing and painful. Whatever.
Danny got up, switched his shorts for jeans, kept on his red t-shirt, and slipped on sneakers. He didn't know where he wanted to go, so he wandered. Blackmere still felt like a mall more than a home or school, it was so impossibly huge.
He found himself opening the heavy doors to the auditorium. He could see someone tall standing alone on the stage, but went up the stairs as if he hadn't noticed. Haven't seen the balcony yet. Might be cool. He thought dully.

Katerina noticed the way Nicholas seemed to be kind of out of place. It made her feel a bit bad for him, being the sort of loner. She felt the need to make him feel more apart of the 'group' or whatever you wanted to call it, but at the current moment she didn't see any opening to do that without being too obvious. She looked towards Jacob and had to keep herself from laughing at the way he tried to make his muscles clear to her. She decided to play along for fun. "Wow, Jacob, have you been working out?" She asked, looking at him as if she truly admired his muscled arms, with a playful little smile playing on her lips.
