Merp, anyone interested? The plot line is pretty cool, if I do say so myself. It's not my RP, but I joined it, and the joining is going by pretty slowly, we've got 3 characters of each gender. This is the plot;

Your years of being called a kid are almost over. This is your last year to thrive under supervision, to follow set rules, and most importantly, to get into trouble with parent's. You are a senior in highschool, its your last semester. Everyone's talking about where the Senior's will go for their Senior Trip in the summer, so many arguements have broken out that all talk of the trip has been banned from the school. The teacher's have it planned out, and only the Senior's of the school know where they're going. And even then, they're only told on their way out the door to board a plan for the trip.

As your plan touches the ground, you and a hand-full of others scrunch up by the window's to see the landscape. Snow is all around you, drifting through the air, piled in huge mounds by the pavement, covering cars left by tourists, it's literally everywhere at once. The teacher's said something about skii-ing, so of course this makes perfect sense know. Once everyone is off the plane you follow a map to the waiting area to look for someone by the last name of 'Davisky'. A middle aged women is holding a sign that says 'Welcome Seniors!', this is Mrs. Davisky. The journey starts there as she fills the group of 10 seniors in on what they will be doing there. She also says something about a tale and myth of some sort of ghostly animal living in the woods.
You all blow it off, laugh at the tale and just keep listening to her. On the drive home, you hear weird noises and high-pitched squeals and howls. They aren't wolves or coyote's though, the sounds are too high. The bus suddenly lets out a spitting sound and comes to a stop. After piling out of the bus, someone comes up with the bright idea to explore the woods. You get lost, unable to tell where you are. The dark woods makes the trees all look the same. Every turn looks the same, until you stumble upon a cave... A cave that has voices coming from inside the mouth of it. Mrs. Davisky's story filters into your thoughts, softly reminding you of all the warning signs.
No one would ever imagine what she said would be true...

Yes, that's right - you heard me.

A man named Tigris Churchill has been searching his whole life to find the gods of "myth." And he has done so with skill. After muching convincing you finally believe in your own power and ability. You have been chosen to help defeat the "Black Soldiers" a band of men and creatures who once dwelled in another dimension, however have broken through the veils of the universe. At the head of the army a man called "Lortheos". You see Lortheos was banished many years ago from earth for what was considered the "Era of the Gods Destruction" using the power of a stone called "The Maker's Curse" he eliminated all the gods, as was the stone's purpose. Throughout the years many people tried to defeat him and his powerful stone, and finally it happened. A Lortheos's own son turned rouge, and broken the stone, the shattered pieces dissolved and vanished. The brave young man was killed.. Killed so that you could be here.

You see when the stone broke, it's power faded and you could return, however you returned in the form of a mortal, with no reconciliation of your godly past. When the stone broke Lortheos and his risen army were driven into an oblivion - another dimension, and the world returned to normal. Places he ruined were rebuilt, and the people seemed to have no memory of the powerful man that had turned god. Now a couple of decades later he has started to come back to earth to where he believes the stone's pieces are. He will send many people and villainous creatures to capture the pieces for him. But this is where you come in. Having regained some of your powers, you now have a chance to fight, and you have been chosen for a quest, along with the other gods to get the pieces before Lortheos does. If you burn the stones in the eternal goblet of flame he will be destroyed for good.

But will you all succeed? Or will darkness overwhelm the universe?

His eyes were squinted against the bright, icy sunlight that lit up the city around like a beacon. It's glare promised warmth, but brought none, leaving probably more than the male in a foul mood. Mason's sharp white teeth glinted under his slightly curled back lips, betrayed how much he didn't like being out in the winter, let alone the daylight. Not to mention this was the city, with humans everywhere. Not the place for a soldier of the red army! Shaking out his fur, Mason dropped back down onto all fours, his ears pinning back on his head. Today... today was the day they would put the rats to an end!

But no battle could be started without the leader, so where was Reznov? Mason has shown up early to scout, making sure no rats were out an about in a bitter daylight. He hadn't seen any yet, but he still had to stay hidden from the prying eyes of a bird of prey or human even. Amazing how the mischief had survived in this merciless environment. Turning his back on the land below him, Mason rose to his hind legs and scanned for the other troops of the army. They were so far, no where to be seen. His front paws twiddled together in anticipation, for, OH, how he wanted to get this show on the road.

And the rats would never see it coming...
The thought brought a smile to Mason's face. An ambush in broad daylight on the rats, for their probably sleepy selves would be too tired to even think about what was going on in time. Right? Of course! The thought of tasting a rat's blood on his tongue sent a chill up the male's spine. A chill of anticipation for that. Even better? The leader of the rats... his head severed from his neck and his blood pooling on the concrete and dirt. Mason sunk back down to his four paws, and turned to face the soon to be battleground.

Oh, I'm glad there's a couple of you. ^^ The last time I did it there were too many people that didn't respond in a timely fashion, so it was hard to RP

Sample of writing:
A young girl ran down a dark street, her shadow stretching and distorting in the pools of lights created by the rusted streetlights hanging above. The lights were bent and misshapen, drooping like wilted flowers. A golden stone pinning back her hair pulsed faintly in the semi-darkness. Above her a light flickered and burst into a shower of sparks, startling her. As she hit the ground, her hand immediately went up to the stone to make sure that it was still intact in her hair, she sighed with relief as she found it in place and unbroken. Standing back up on burning legs, she began running again, the pulsing from the stone growing stronger. The space around her began distorting as the stone pulsed wildly, as if she was viewing the world through wavy, shimmering glass. It was almost as if she was inside an alternate universe superimposed onto reality, she thought. She walked confidently straight through the strange world, heading towards the middle, her stone's pulsing becoming frantic as she entered the center of the labyrinth. There, staring straight at her, was a terrible creature. She smiled up at it, a single tear falling from her golden eyes. She walked closer to the creature, calmly dodging it's attacks, not even cringing at it's inhuman screeching. "Don't be scared, your don't have to be alone anymore." she said softly, pulling the stone from her hair. She touched it to her lips, then let it float into the air in front of her. She whipped out a golden rifle, then shot it at the creature. The golden stone shattered, and the creature died. Next came the darkness, as the girl's body fell to the ground and the strange world around her, the thing she had called a labyrinth, disappeared. She hadn't even had time to watch her wish be destroyed and scattered into dimming pieces before she fell. Her blank eyes reflected the flicker lights above her, then slowly the lights also burnt out as the sun began to rise.

For RP, thanks for advertising XD. Anyway I am also lookign for a good vampire 1X1 with a lot of horror (PG 13,still) so if you're interested, do pm me. I like to play (aristocratic) vampire clans and I prefer playing males. I think the RP woul be romance and drama but I don't yet have a plot in mind...

It's currently not open because I want a variety of fans to agree on a plot.
By the way, for those who don't know, CoAD stands for Chronicles of Ancient Darkness.
