Analyse Sapphira III
Anna nodded as she picked up the second rat skin. "Let's be going. And yes, I shall tell you my riddle on the way." She smiled. She might actually like this dragon, even though he had a rather abrupt manner and tended not to say much. She began to fly upward, toward the closest mountain peak she could see. Her violet eyes scanned the area for any slayers. Seeing as most dragons had enhanced eyesight, it would be easy to spot a potential threat.
She spotted a man carrying a sword, spears, and several bags of gold and jewels. It's Devin! she shouted with her mind to Suri. We need to get out of the valley. We can't go to the mountains. He's headed this way. She then sent a mental picture of his position to the northwest and the fact that he was headed their way. If we can get out of here fast enough, he won't see us. We just have to keep to the shadowy side of the valley. Luckily for us, the east side is the shadowy side, and not the west. Anna veered her course to the west, and it was at this moment that she realized her scales were red again. She calmed herself enough to make them turn blue, but there was no way they would be yellow and orange again until they were safely away from Devin.
