Some people are born normal. And some are not. You’re one of those who aren't.
You start to notice this, that you’re different, when you hit the range between twelve and nineteen years old. Your moods begin changing as well as your body. Your parents have noticed this too, and they realize with immense sorrow their greatest fears have come true. You aren’t completely human.
When you were born, the doctor warned your parents there were unexplainable complications, and that you may grow up to be... special, as he put it. But your parents just ignored this warning, and took you home anyway.
Now that the horrid truth is out, they frantically call the doctor and tell them of what they've discovered. The doctor gives them strict instructions, in which they follow completely. They pack your things, and throw you in the car without a word.
It takes hours, but you finally arrive to what you think is a nice weekend getaway house. Your spirits drown in confusion you spot a huge fence upahead. The buildings inside the fence are nice, but you can’t help but notice it looks like some sort of prison. Especially when you see multiple guards with huge guns walking up and down the fence, as if they're guarding it. You still have your eyes on the strange men when you drive slowly through tall iron gates.
You drive a few moments more before making a half circle around a large fountain and stopping in front of a big building. Your parents hastily take you and your things out of the car and into the building. A tall man greets you inside, and he seems nice enough- though something about him makes you shiver.
Your parents talk with the man for awhile, before shifting their focus back to you. Your mother is teary eyed when she kisses you on the forehead and says goodbye. Your father does the same, but its obvious that there was no feeling put into his hug or kiss. You look into his eyes, hoping there is some sign of love for you in them- but all you see is disappointment and disgust.
You suddenly find yourself scared and alone in the building. Your parents have gone, and you have a sick feeling that you won’t be seeing them any time soon. Why else would they pack up all your things? You feel a hand placed on your shoulder, and your whipped around to face the tall man your parents were talking with.
He smiles, and you swallow hard. Then in a profound voice he says, "Welcome to NightShade Academy. You will be staying with us for a long time."
This school is a prison. Good luck trying to escape.

✖ No using your powers indoors. This goes for Werewolves shifting indoors as well.
✖ No going into the opposite gender's dorm rooms. There are three levels of the Dormitory. First level hosts the Rec Room and vending machines, the second level inhabits all the girl's rooms, and the third inhabits all the boy's rooms.
✖ You must do your assigned work daily.
✖ Arguing with a Teacher, Guard, or even the Headmaster will result in immediate punishment and is not tolerated.
✖ No fighting with anyone- this goes for bullying as well.
✖ Breakfast begins at 8:00 AM and ends at 9:00 AM. Lunch is from 12 – 1 PM. And dinner is from 7 – 8 PM. If you miss it, even if you're just one minute late, you will not be allowed in to eat.
✖ Curfew, or "Lights Out" as its known as here, is strictly at 10:30 PM, where you must be inside your assigned dorm room. On Full Moon nights, though, Lights Out is very strictly set at 8:00 PM for all Non-Werewolf Specials.
✖ Classes start at 9:30 AM and end at 3:00 PM. There is absolutely no ditching class.
✖ All electronic devices are prohibited. These include ipods, radios, computers, and especially cell phones. All devices such as these are taken up when you first come to the Academy, so this is a rule that cannot be broken.
✖ No touching, or kissing of any kind.
✖ All books and reading material must be approved by the Headmaster before the student is allowed to read or keep it.
✖ If you receive a detention, you must attend and be on time.
✖ If you break any of these rules at any time you will be punished. The punishments here vary depending on what the troublemaker is.
First, the troublemaker is sent to the headmaster, the headmaster assesses them, then they are punished.
For an example, if a Human with Powers, who's power if fire, and weakness is water, pulls a prank or gets in trouble, they are punished with their weakness. So, they could be thrown in a room full of water for awhile, or be tortured by something to do with water.
For Werewolves, they get placed in chains for a light type of torture done by the security officers of the school.
This goes for Vampires as well. Though in torturing vampires, the faculty tend to use special types of lights, ones in which vampires are very weak against.

✖ This is a semi-lit Rp. That means at least three lines per post with proper grammar and punctuation. Show your literacy to me in your form. If I don't think you're literate enough, and I will check, I won't accept you. However, I'm not unreasonable. If I talk with you and I believe that you will really try, I'll let you join.
✖ Be nice to others outside of character.
✖ Do not join and never come back. If you're going to do that, don't even bother filling out a form.
✖ Humans with Powers can only have 1 power. And please, try to make it an original one. I don't want, like, five people who can all control water or something like that. That's boring. c;
✖ Characters must be in the 12 – 19 age range, unless given special permission by me to be otherwise.
✖ No powerplaying/godmodding or Gary-Mary Sues.
✖ Only make as many characters you can handle, but don't get too crazy if you're one of those people who can Rp more then then people at a time.
✖ No being your own Crush/Mate/Bf/Gf.
✖ Post OOC in ( ), [ ] or { }.
✖ Star out the vowels in cursing.
✖ Yes, werewolves can shift whenever they want, but they are also forced to shift on the Full Moon. On the Full Moon, shifting into wolf form is very painful for werewolves since they are being forced to bring out the animal unwillingly. They have little control of themselves too, which is why the Academy Faculty Guards are extra enforced those nights with tranqulizer guns packed with enough tranq to bring down elephants. Wolves are free to roam outside, but each one is assigned a few guards to observe them and keep them from harming anyone or anything. Usually, half the guards stay on the rooftops to have an arial view of the grounds and all the wolves, while the other half of the guards tail each individual wolf from a safe distance.
Most wolves take to the forest as soon as they change, but a few others stay around the buildings. All the other non-werewolf Specials are forced and locked in their dorms on the Full Moon- with their only visual of whats going on outside being through their windows. Werewolves begin the early stages of shifting starting mid-dinner at 7:30 PM. These stages include headaches, short temperedness, unexplainable anger, animalistic tenedancies, and muscle aches.
Just after dinner, all the Specials who are non-wolf are sent to their dorms, while the werewolves are lead outside to start their shift. Between 8:00 and 9:00 PM is when wolves shift, and their forced shift ends at 6:00 AM.
