Lonely Forest II - (elf/spirit/human RP)

Name: Rowan
Age: 25
Appearance: Rowan has, like all centaurs, the body of a horse and the torso and head of a human. His horse half is a pale roan colour and his tail is slightly darker. He has the build of a young arabian horse with a slim body and quite long legs. The skin of his human half is more of a pale grey than normal skin colour and his hair is the same colour as his tail. His hair is a bit longer than shoulder length and is very straight.

Other: Rowan is a very withdrawn and shy person. He doesn't like being alone but has trouble getting really close to anyone. He doesn't like fighting but will is he has to. He loves nature and wide open spaces and feels trapped if he's inside for too long. He's quite intelligent but doesn't often show it so is usually underestimated by people when they first meet him. Rowan takes comfort in the logical side of everything and doesn’t believe what he can’t see. He doesn't like talking and only does when he has to. He is definitely a pessimist and always sees the worst in both situations and people.

Appearance: Rou's horse body is completely black. His hair is sleek and has almost green highlights when the light catches it right. His hair is unbraided but he often puts it in a ponytail to keep it out of the way. He does have a small braid that is held together with a few green beads. His human torso is dark grey and his hair and mane are both black. He has one white sock on his back left leg and his hooves are all white. He has a very light build for a tribal centaur but is decievingly strong. His quiver is strapped onto his back and he keeps his knife on strap attatched to his front right leg. His eyes are a bright green but often seem cold and emotionless.

Other: Despite being a brave warrior and loyal to his tribe, Rou is an extremely jealous centaur. He has an insatiable craving for power and will stop at nothing to get it. He is very secretive and trusts no one, always on the look out. Despite this, he does care for his tribe and will protect them, no matter what. Being on the smaller and lighter side for a tribal centaur, Rou is better at the planning and tactical side of battle rather than the actual fighting, but, once he's on the battlefield, there's no stopping him. Rou doesn't understand much beyond the military side of things and doesn't know how to cope particularly well with other centaurs, he keeps to himself as much as possible.

Calitha wandered through the woods. Her fists were clenched, one holding her longbow. She was trotting towards the only place where she would feel a bit more calm: the waterfall. But her eyes, by now, were flaming on grey-blue fire. She felt the old scars on her flank still itching, as they always did when she was furious. Indeed, that day she was not in the best mood.

To the North, Calitha could see heavy clouds. But there, the winter's end morning was bright and glorious. There, at the seaside woods, the day was an early spring's insight. The chirping birds on the trees, the green and the life, and most of all the sound of falling water helped Calitha to calm down. When the centaur female reached the lake's borders, her fists were already loose and her breathing regular again.

The waterfalls were an impressive sight. The rainbows danced on the bright mist near the rock walls in front of her, jagged cliffs which seemed to touch the sky. However, the lake was so huge that the water near her hooves was as calm as any pond's. Calitha bent and picked up a lotus flower, sighing. Spring had finally arrived.
She was home.

Rou moved through the forest at a slow canterm blending in with the shadows expertly, his pale hooves barely making a sound. The dappled light breaking through the thick forest canopy made strange, dappled patterns on the dark fur of his horse body His bright green eyes were about the only visible thing in the gloom. He had his bow clutched loosely in one hand and a quiver of arrows strapped to his back. He had another strap around one leg which held a black-handled knife.

He could hear the rushing of water nearby, so he was obviously near the waterfall. He paused for a moment, head cocked slightly to the side, listening to the calming sound of the water. He could just see, through a small gap in the trees, the huge lake and the falls beyond it.

Calitha turned her head swiftly at the bushes, she had heard some noises. She put on the lotus on her hair before moving her hand to her quiver. She took off one arrow and softly placed it on the string, pointing it to the direction where the noise had came from.

''Show yourself'' she ordered harshly, all her peaceful and happy expression being wiped off on a sudden frown.
