"Indeed." Lucien said with a nod, grabbing a glass and turning on the faucet, filling it with water. Swishing the liquid around, he took a drink from it to relieve the burning in his throat. Setting the empty glass down, he looked to Sigma. It seemed so odd that they weren't arguing, like always. But then again, Lucien wasn't always the calm and collected.

Sigma glanced over at the clock, taking a mental note of the time so that she could take the eggs out in five minutes. She glanced over at him, avoiding looking at his bare torso and chest again. She'd been stubborn in her resolve to not check him out, especially when he decided to just parade around the house with abs a'blazing like that. And since she didn't want to look him in the eyes either, she'd settled on a middle ground, focusing on his lips. "So how come you're the superior of the hundred year old vampire?" she asked, referring back in her mind to their conversation when she'd asked if it was Lucien's boss that kept calling.

Lucien gave a suave smirk. "He doesn't take as many contracts as I do, and therefore, he doesn't advance in rank as quickly as I." the assassin responded, his eyes on Sigma's, even though she merely stared at the ground. He knew she was avoiding looking at him, it was quite obvious, of course.

Sigma watched the movement of Lucien's lips as he answered, dropping her eyes to the ground with a smirk afterwards. "I doubt it's neccessary to point out the irony of your thirst for blood being keener than the vampire's in that sense," she mumbled, amused. She looked up at the door, wondering when Vicente would step through. "He's actually sleeping? Not, like, faking it or anything?" She didn't know if vampires were even capable of sleep. Vicente's condition was unfamiliar ground to her.

"He likes to indulge himself in mortal things. Sleep, food, all that. Makes him feel normal. So, yes. He's actually sleeping." Lucien said boredly, glancing around for the wine and remembering that it was back in the cabinet. He gave a sigh, running a hand through his loose hair. Flicking his eyes to the doorway, he saw a disheveled and sleepy-eyed Vicente enter the room.

When Vicente had awoken, he had to reread the last page of his book to refresh his memory. Standing, the vampire stretched, his crimson eyes flicking towards the voices in the kitchen. Walking into the room, he gave a yawn as he stood in the doorway. His long, light brown hair was sticking up in places in his hair-tie. "Mornin'." Vicente yawned to the two of them, then sniffed. "Lucien, it's only noon and you've already been drinking." he scowled at the other assassin, who just gave a smirk.

Sigma sighed and turned back to the eggs. So she wasn't the only one that was bugged by Lucien's drinking. She rested her hand on the handle of the pot and looked up at the time before removing the pot from the burner and turning off the stove. "Have some eggs, Vicente," she said as she fished each egg out of the water and ran them under cold water from the sink.

Vicente flicked his crimson eyes to the pot of eggs as she ran them beneath the water, and his stomach growled quietly. Vicente was certainly thinner than he should be. He didn't feed often, and he didn't eat mortal food often. He stepped forward, plucking one of the eggs from the pot. "Thank you." he said politely, popping the egg into his mouth. He glanced at Lucien. "You should really put a shirt on." he grumbled.

Lucien watched as Vicente took an egg, and he eyed the eggs, his brow furrowed. He stepped forward, taking one as well and muttering a thank you. He quickly ate his own, wiping his hands off afterward and popping his knuckles. He chuckled at Vicente's statement, though he didn't acknowledge it as he sat in the chair with a sigh.

Sigma smirked at Vicente's comment as she took an egg out of the pot. "Vicente, do you read minds?" she asked, only half serious as she peeled the egg and took a bite. The man had managed to voice two of her most dominant thoughts in less than five minutes after joining them. Now that took skillz. Or just a lot of happy chance and coinidental luck.

"No, I don't." Vicente chuckled, giving a kind smile as he flicked his crimson eyes to Sigma. Hw fiddled with the amulet around his neck, flicking his eyes to Lucien. Lucien certainly didn't look happy. Why? He didn't know.

Lucien felt a spark of something in his chest as Vicente and Sigma joked around. Was it jealousy? He didn't think so. He folded his arms across his bare chest, giving a grumbled sigh.

Sigma smiled, looking Vicente in the eyes and giving a gentle chuckle. "Maybe you do and you just don't know it. I think you do," she joked, her expression amused. She left the pot in the sink and walked to the table, pulling out an empty chair and turning it around so that its back faced the table. With that done, she sat down, wrapping her arms around the seatback and resting her chin on them. "There are two eggs left if you're still hungry."
