Dewstorm nodded, "The little scamp was flirting with Wisepaw," She said in a some-what humor sticken voice. But listened intently, "Wait, more than two? Are you sure of how many?" She said, trying to ease down, knowing the coming kits would be harmed by her modd swings.

Starpaw dashed into the nursery, "Hello Dewstorm," She said, as she quikly dropped down the herbs. "Here you go Spiderfrost, as requested," She said, looking at Dewstorm's swollen belly, "That looks like more than one or two," She said, looking at Dewstorm with caring eyes, Dewstorm had taken care of her when her mother had went into battle with her father against an army of rouges, but neither of them ever cam back, she loved Dewstorm as a mother though.

Spiderfrost twiched her tail to acknowledge her apprentices arrival.

"I can't tell for sure, but so far so good, have you started to feel any contractions?" Spiderfrost asked as she brought the Lavender close enough for Dewstorm to smell.

Wisepaw smiled and pressed closer to him so that their fur brushed. "Well.... I kinda...... Like you." she mewed and giggled a bit. Her cheeks got slight pink but underneath her fur she was bright red. She shuffled her paws and looked at him, hoping he felt the same about her.

Moonshade stopped when Fireface did and lifted her dark muzzle, smelling the air for anything unusual. Nothing. She smiled at Fireface and purred, "I'll go to the right to check things out; let's meet here once we're finished." She flicked her tail and turned around to the area where she said she'd take and padded away gracefully, sniffing the border line, and refreshing some of the scent lines that had faded a little. She took one more look around, and blinked her big, indigo eyes. The border seemed quiet and safe.
The dark grey tabby she-cat pricked her ears at a scuffling of tiny paws on the forest floor. Mole. She growled in anticipation and crouched down slowly. She rolled her shoulders, heart beating in the silence. It hasn't noticed me yet... Perfect. She smiled and pounced when it was closer to her. It let out a small squeak of alarm, but Moonshade was quick. She trapped it under her paws and killed it swiftly. She stood, shaking out her soft pelt once satisfied and trotted back to the spot where they'd parted and sat down as she waited, with the fresh-kill lain at her delicate paws. She sat straight and curled her tail around her neatly, licking one paw that was raised up to her face to clean.

Fireface nodded to Moondshade and watched her leave, then he turned the other way and went along the boarder, making sure everything checked out okay. He kept all his senses alert and focused as he walked farther from where he came. His ears pricked at the sound of a bird calling nearby. Fireface looked up to see a black bird in the tree above him. The bird hadn't seen him yet and was just singing. But as Fireface kept going, the bird eventually saw him and sent out a warning call. He cursed under his breath, turned and walked back to the place he had left Moonshade. He saw her catch and grinned. "Nice catch. I would of gotten something if a black bird hadn't seen me." he growled the last part almost to himself and flicked his tail. "Everything seems fine on this boarder, let's head back to camp." he meowed and took up the lead.

Dewstorm nodded, "Well, yes, one or two..." SHe heaved over to smell the lavender, and she was calmed. Sighing, she closed her eyes, and blinked slowly, "I only ate a plump vole caught from this mirning though, shoul I've eaten more?" She asked, hoping she didn't make a mistake.

Wolfpaw was shocked, and speechless. His eyes grew soft and he murmured, "I've liked you since I first saw you in the nursery." Wolfpaw looked at her, and rubbing his head on hers. "I was just too shy to tell you, afriad you'd not like me back."

Starpaw looked at the queen, she was definetly kitting, but how do we know how many kits we're dealing with? Just in case she asked, "Are there any other herbs we could use for helping her kit?" She asked, gently feeling the queen's swollen stomach. Spiderfrost was correct, more than two, but no more than five. "I may be able to sum down how many she's having," She said, felling two sets of eyes burning into her fur, so she went on, "More than two, but no more than five, maybe no more than four. I'm not sure, Dewstorm, your kits are moving to much to tell, they'll be strong," She said to her foster mother, purring.

Wisepaw's tail curled with happiness and she smiled wide. "Really?! I was too shy too, but I knew that if I didn't try to say something, I would never know if you liked me back. But now I know and I'm so happy you like me back!" she said and purred, rubbing her head on his.

"I'm glad you told me, I would have probably told you when I was dieing, and it would sting to much," He said, purring, Maybe even mates. He thought, but not rushing it. But he knew that was probably going to happen, and if they weren't his, and he'd never had told her he loved her, then he would die of pain and agony. But the truth was out, and they were only a moon in difference, plus, they would maybe soon get their warrior names.

Wisepaw was so happy now. Her purring was louder now and she twined her tail with his. "So, what should we do now?" she asked, smiling at him. Her olive green eyes sparkled as she looked at him. I'm so glad he likes me! Maybe we could even be mates one day... But, that's not for a while!
